Well, it was so wonderful, an eye opener. Staff agreed and suggested I might like it even better with the oil base option (I had tomato). My wife is allergic to tomato so we will definitely go back for the oil-based version. I added affogato dessert AND their own 80-day limoncello. Yum and yum! Cute and cozy place with limited seating. The burrata app with grilled peaches is so perfect. Great balance with sweet, a little spicy, and sweet. Perhaps they were a littlw under staffed the other night but service was slow. I would suggest getting on a wait list before coming... its busy there partly because its takes a while to service people and that then takes a while to clear out tables. They could turn so many more tables if it was quicker. The lunch set at Mioposto was such a great value, with $20 for both a pizza and a salad, and for an additional $5 you can add a glass of house wine. I got the prosciutto and arugula pizza with the beet salad. I liked that it felt balanced rather than too heavy, and the combo feel like a complete meal. Aesthetic was homey and service was fast, which made it an especially easy and enjoyable lunch. Overall, this is the kind of neighborhood pizzeria I'd happily come back to for a casual meal. I met my sister here for dinner as she had been meaning to check this place out. I have driven by here a few times but never dined here either. First off it was super crowded. It's not a very large restaurant, and so we had to sit at the cozy community table. The menu is geared toward the discerning diner in my opinion, as there were only two dishes that I found I would like. What can I say, my tastes run a bit more on the pedestrian side of things. I had to skip the meat lasagna which sounded good because their sausage has fennel seeds in it which I am allergic to, which left me with the personal pepperoni pizza to work with. The pizza was much better than I expected from the look of it. It had a nice flavor to it. The tiramisu was very yummy, soft lady fingers dipped in a nice liquor and layered with sweet cocoa powder. It's worth a stop here just to get a slice of tiramisu for take away. As far as returning for another meal here I guess I'll have to pass the next time around and see if there is something a little less high end presentation and find something geared a bit more general public. read more

The ambiance of this place looks 10/10. We got take out but I imagine it's such a lovely date spot for friends or a couple. Very cozy interior with cute lights all around. The pizza is definitely pricey; we personally felt it wasn't the best pizza we've had and portions were small for the cost of the pizza (they're all 12".) appreciate the gluten free crust option, though $6 is a little on the pricey side for the GF upcharge that comes with anything gluten free. Wish there was a vegan protein option like soy-rizo. I think it's a solid option for a date night if you have no dietary restrictions and are okay with spending $50-60 for two small-ish pizzas. If you're vegan or gluten free, I'd go elsewhere. I'd like to give 3.5 stars but half stars aren't an option so going with 4 since I have very specific dietary needs and so I know the average person may feel differently than me. read more

Went here for happy hour on a Monday, we were the first people there at 3:20 and when we left people were trickling in. The place is super nice, we sat in the corner which has nice corner windows to people watch. Service was super nice, very attentive. We accidentally dropped some cutlery on the floor and they noticed right away and gave us another pair without us asking. The food was also solid. 11-13 dollars for a good 8in personal pizza. I've driven by this place a bunch, and finally stopped in with some friends. It's relatively tiny inside with a very small patio, so expect a wait on busier nights. Service was friendly. We ordered the antipasti appetizer, a salad, and 3 pizzas.There were 4 of us and had just the right amount of food. They have a lot of vegetarian options too! I'm a pasta kinda gal but my friends got the Pizzas and hands down it was amazing! Better than your regular pizza hut or dominos! The management for the dinner service tonight was awful. I called a week in advance to make reservations for my group (which included children). I understand their reservation policy is lax, but the person assured me our table would be ready if we checked in at 4:50pm, which is exactly when we came. They gave our table away. Ok, it happens. They said it'd take 30 minutes. It took ONE hour. We stood outside in the cold with 4 children (one baby) and they didn't do anything to expedite the process. Once we finally sat down, they did nothing to make up for the horrible service up to that point. We ordered the kids' pizza qickly. They forgot one. They said if we ordered bread it'd come quickly (I wanted to make sure there was something for the kids to nibble on since they were starving), the bread took 30 minutes. Then management didn't offer a single thing to us. They didn't take even the late bread off our bill. I'm honestly fuming. I don't know if the management was just incapable or racist, but they should definitely hear this feedback. We go to Mio Posto very often. We've never had such terrible issues. I tried the Zucca Balsamica pizza and it was delicious - the crust in particular was perfectly blistered. Cocktails are pricey, but that's commonplace nowadays. The lamb pizza with mint, pimiento and Salsa Verde was a winning combination and really brought out the flavor of the lamb. The fresh squeezed lemonade accompanied it all well - not too sweet, and genuine flavor. Tira misu for dessert was just right, and a generous portion. I would have preferred feta cheese in the beet salad - the goat cheese overpowered the other more subtle flavors. We had eaten from this place on once before and really enjoyed our meal. As vegetarians, we chose the vegetable sandwich and it was amazing. Last week we decided to order for delivery the same thing. We ordered from the website. The sandwiches were so soaked in oil that the bread just fell apart in our hands, leaving a greasy soup in the box. There seemed to be half the amount of vegetables and it was basically inedible. I wrote to let the know our dinner terrible (and $$$), And I received this back from the regional manager: "I made a mistake as we just changed 3rd party ordering platforms. Since this was ordered through a 3rd party vendor, you need to reach out to them as they're the ones who received the payment. I hope that makes sense." No it doesn't as we ordered from the website. I've never written a review before in my life but this needs to be addressed. Mio Posto is my favorite pizzeria in Seattle so I don't want to sweep this under the rug. My wife booked a table for 6+2 high chairs for 5pm today. Over the phone they said they don't take a reservations but there wouldn't be a problem since they had our name down for 5pm. They said we were officially on the wait list. (I heard the conversation on speaker myself). We get there, (remember 2 high chair means small children) they told us 30 minutes. After 40 min when I started to get a little upset and saw they just give the dessert menu to the people were eating before us. I talked to the manger and after apologizing and trying to get the table ready he kept focusing on the fact that they don't take reservations. (You should be clear how you talk over the phone to customers especially when you see 2 high chairs are required for that table). After 1 hour I was able to get the kids seated (only because I asked) but not the entire party. 3 people from the previous party were still sitting. We finally got the party seated after 1h and 10 minutes. After we ordered, they forgot my kid's pizza, didn't bring the bread we asked for before the pizza (my kids were starving, my 14 months kid crying because of the long wait. At the end zero discount, zero acknowledgment from the manager, not even saying good night! Learn from this to give better experience to future customers. read more

Was working nearby today and decided to give it a try. I ordered to-go, which of course isn't ideal, but good enough I'd say. Picking it up around 12:30pm, there was a very strange smell in the restaurant and terrible Christian rock playing inside. Vibe seemed relatively nice but not as cute as the photos on their website suggests. Ok all that is dismissible. The reason I stayed away from Mioposto for so long was their prices. $22 for a 12"Margarita is absolutely f#@king insane. I get it if you have veggies, or meat, or whatever that costs a lot of money. But a margarita NEEDS to be cheap. It's the Italian way. Anyways, I finally folded and gave the $22 Margarita ($28 after tax and tip) a try. What an extremely underwhelming and overpriced experience. Just generally a pretty bland pie. Even if I had been seated, it still wouldn't have been worth. How much can it possibly cost to make a margarita? This is one of my favorite local neighborhood restaurants, but shrinkflation is really doing a number on my ability to enjoy coming here. The good news first: the pizza is still the best you can get. The crust is perfectly thin with the right amount of chew and the toppings are creative and full of flavor. Also, important, because they are fixed at 12 inches they are not mysteriously decreasing in portion size over time. Everything here is a few dollars more expensive than it used to be, which is understandable in the broader economic context. Unfortunately, while price increases to match the market are inevitable, squeezing down portion sizes is a choice. I'm happy to support local business even with everything getting more expensive, but I expect support in return for my loyalty: respect for my patronage and prioritization of my satisfaction. The antipasti was one of my favorite appetizer dishes here and it used to be filled to or above the brim of the wooden serving boats they use. Today I was served a tray with so little food it barely covered the bottom and had just TWO pieces of prosciutto, all the while being more than 10% more expensive than before. This kind of miserly plating is borderline insulting especially to longtime customers who remember what this place could be. I really hope they stabilize here and figure out how to offer a reasonable price to portion ratio again, because currently I cannot justify coming here more than once a month or two when I used to be here every week. read more
