Small store with outrageously cutesy stuff (plushie collectors beware). Some of these items are actually practical (cups/mugs, small storage containers, phone cases, travel pillows, etc.). Very similar stuff to the stuff found at a Daiso (without the very cheap price point but still not too expensive here). Worth taking a peak inside especially since there are seasonal/limited-run items (along with a Halloween theme there seems to be a Marvel theme currently going on as well).

Miniso is located in China according to their contact info. Should be Miniso China.

I've seen a few of these stores in Hong Kong and one in San Francisco. They masquerade as a fake Japanese company. It's hilarious yet infuriating that a country is pretending to be another one just to make money. Their wares are not unique or have the quirkiness of Daiso, but their wares are cheap. People in Hong Kong protested and burnt down Japanese and Japanese sounding companies like Samsung in 2012 due to the Senkaku/Diaoyu island dispute. It would be ironic if miniso suffered the same fate.

These stores are huge with all kinds of great ideas to make your home looks it's best. When I see homes selling for $2,000 a sq ft I recognize where the Decor came from.

They even have obscure items like dark purple sparkly grout. I was blown away by how large their showroom is. They even have XL porcelain slabs. I used to say I hate tile because of the grout but they have beautiful selections. They even have a clearance section in the back left of the store. The first visit we didn't find the Schluter edge trims we needed. But they do have a much larger selection than your local hardware store. The second visit I was looking for Y shaped spacers for installing hexagon tiles. An employee asked if I needed help. He and another employee took maybe 10 minutes out of their way to help me look for the Y spacers. Super nice! Exceptional service! Their inventory online actually seems to be accurate because they asked if I had the SKU and it told them the same number available as what I saw online. I had called two other flooring stores nearby to see if they sell Y shaped spacers but they don't. Definite plus in how large their inventory and selection is. I will be going out of my way to cross the bridge to go to Floor and Decor for my next project needs.

This store is a perfect GEM nestled in N unexpected place in Pleasant Hill. She has beautiful pieces and carries Dixie Bell chalk paint which I love and is difficult to find. The owner, Kait, is super helpful and within minutes of talking to her, you feel like she is a lifelong friend. She is easy to communicate with and it's a no pressure to buy situation. If you have a moment to pop in I would Recommend it because you will be surprised at all of the fun home decor, baby clothes, paint, and more that you will find there. Overall, darling store and owner!

They also were able to bring in their own snacks and wine to have a little pre-painting wine and cheese. That's not all, the little shop that is attached is incredible! I bought some hand made soap that I just couldn't live without because of how yummy it smelled (my husband chuckled at me as I batted my eyelashes at him to purchase it for me). I also found the CUTEST soap holders. A little basket and one that looked like a old fashioned sink faucet. Super cute! I honestly would love to decorate my WHOLE house with the cute local artist finds that are sold at Kaits. I can't wait to visit again! If you adore vintage and local craftsman work, visit Kaits! It's totally worth it!!

When it arrived the ceramic top was damaged so I was told to not accept it and Ken located another one with the right combination of top and legs. When that arrived, it also had been damaged in shipping and Ken said to reject it and he found another one- same problem. I guess the porcelain tops are very fragile and require more delicate handling. Ken never gave up in the quest to deliver the perfect table I had ordered and was communicative and proactive throughout the ongoing issues never complaining once. They just delivered the 4th table which arrived in perfect condition and I couldn't be happier. I've never had such a positive experience from what was ostensibly a terrible one. Calligaris had discontined the combination I originally ordered in the meantime, but Ken persisted in getting that original combination shipped from Italy. Ken, thanks for your persistence, patience and follow-through. I can not recommend you and your store more highly!!

Long story short : THEFT !…read more I've been dealing with this place on and off for over 5-6 years, The watch expert they had for the longest time Claudio, recently quit. They brought in this new guy named Dan. He has family relations to the owners, most of them go back to Eastern European roots and they seem to hire upper level staff based on that. Anyway they've all been fairly nice folks for the most part. I mentioned a solid gold watch to the owner Albert, I told him exactly how much it weighs, I personally bought this watch based on the gold weight. He said he was not interested because I was asking too much. Then he called me a couple days later and told me to bring in the watch. I brought the watch in and then he called me back the next day and said to bring in the extra links I was talking about. There were three extra links. Over the next month and a half I kept asking what the final decision was for this, they said hold on we're waiting somebody is looking at it, somebody else to see it etc. etc. Then I mention that I have somebody interested and I will pick it up, they told me I couldn't because the watch was getting serviced and cleaned. I did not ask them to service it or clean it, but I understood that in order for them to sell it easily it probably should be cleaned. After over two months, I asked back for the watch and I went to pick it up. I rush in to get the watch leave and soon after I realized I didn't get the links back. First Albert the owner told me he gave them back to me, then I told him no he did not, and then he says he will look into it and get back to me. I follow up again and he says Dan has the links and I can pick them up from Dan. I go to pick up the links and there's a little Plastic container that I had them in. The watch looks fabulous now they polished it up and cleaned it. I send a pic of the links and the watch to my potential buyer while the watch and the links are on the scale. I see that the watch weighs 9 g less then when I dropped off the watch. I asked them about this and Dan got really defensive about how he does not do that and I am being very complicated etc. etc. So then I asked them to look at the paper of when I dropped off the watch which shows a picture of the watch the links the watch on their scale the exact weight, all the info. And they say they cannot find it. Somehow that paper for the records has disappeared. I looked through my pics and sent all the proof. The owner Albert says we will talk about it. I go in there and we have a little meeting, he starts off by saying "what do you want me to do?" I felt kinda bad for this old guy and that he has to deal with a trusted staff member that is obviously stealing. So I told him "let's give it some time, I'm sure it will pop up" it's not been over a year and it has not popped up. I go on Instagram and I could see that the person responsible has a profile and guess what he's rocking on his page, my watch. They do have a company page and a company Facebook page as well. After reaching out to Breitling, I'm told a replacement link for that watch will cost almost $2000. This has caused a lot of stress and the gaslighting they played in the beginning was very frustrating. Luckily, I kept records of everything all nice in one file. Hopefully they do the right thing and give me my link back or reimburse it.
