The fabric in the coat is not the same as in the picture. The construction of the coat is very pool quality, no lining which I can live with but very poorly finished work. I am keeping it because I do not want to go through the effort of trying to return. I bit on what I should have looked further into as this is not a boutique but an online business based in Asia and shipped from Asia. No I would not buy from again. read more

Price point will make everyone happy, I can always find something a T-shirt or a sweatshirt maybe even some jewelry I love. It's a nice nook of downtown Danville to wander about, so I love to pop in and see what's new. Staff always friendly and helpful. Love my new jean purchase! Always a pleasant and willing to help shopping experience. Friendly staff and ownership. Sales/specials are held on a regular basis and their social media platforms display consistent photos of how the outfits really look off mannequin. Door-to-door service today. We live just a few blocks away from each other, and it was such a special surprise to have a well wrapped purchased sweater delivered personally to my doorstep. read more

Great local clothing boutique with the friendliest staff! They have cute clothes and accessories and have a variety of brands. You can find good deals. The pricier items are usually name brands. The staff is always helpful and offer honest opinions on what's flattering and putting outfits together. read more

Cute clothes, fair prices, good sale prices. Rude, snotty teenage employees. Seriously, rude. Like eye rolling when I talked to my husband and kids. It's hard enough for small boutiques to stay in business in a good economy but in this economy I can't imagine it's very easy. Employing snotty teenage girls is probably not the best way to stay in business. read more

I just can't get enough of this store! Love the new location! For some reason I feel so much better about spending my hard earned cash on something that I know not everyone else is going to have! Prices here vary but usually you can find some great deals! The stuff that is on the pricy end is usually all designer so I guess you can't really complain about that! I recently purchased a sweater from here and I'm not kidding when I say that every time I wear it I get a ton of compliments! If you have never been here it is definitely worth checking out! Like they say.... Shop small and shop local! read more

It's a real hit or miss when you're in this store. Some things, such as the True Religion jeans, deserve the price tag they are given. And other things, although extremely cute, could probably be found elsewhere for half the price. One thing I couldn't resist was this necklace (see picture). Maybe I could've found it at Forever 21 or Aldo Accessories but I found that this was really well put together and looked bold without being gaudy. It's a quiet store and most of the time, the sales attendant just sits behind her counter not really saying much. I actually find this less discriminatory than some of the other boutiques where the sales attendants will walk right by you without saying a single word while chatting it up with their friends. With boutiques, you just have to pick and choose the items you think are worth it, mostly dependent on if you really can find it or a similar knockoff for cheaper. read more

I stopped in the other day with a friend to buy some dresses for the summer. There was one other customer in the store and the woman working there named Rachel was SO incredibly helpful and kind. We didn't even realize but the store had been closed for twenty minutes and Rachel was still helping us with a great attitude. She made me want to come back and recommend this store to my friends. read more

Cute stuff but a ridiculous return policy and snotty staff. A friend of mine bought me a gift from Ella J. I had never been there before but had peaked in the window many times and always wanted to go in. So I was excited to receive something from there. My gift was a very cute headband and some earrings. I tried on the headband at work right when I opened it. I determined that it just wasn't me. It had some chains hanging on it and I didn't like how the were hanging behind my ear. My friend told me that she was told when she purchased it that she must exchange within 7 days!! She emphasized this. So, I of course make sure to adhere to this and go in before my exchange expiration date. Upon going into Ella J. I did not feel particularly welcome but i wasn't bothered. Until I went to the register and the girl who was behind the counter was so snotty. Didn't care that i was even in the store. She didn't want to let me exchange the headband. She even told me that i had damaged it or broken it in some way. I guess the chain wasn't how it was supposed to be. Which is why i didn't like it in the first place! If it was broken or damaged it didn't happen when i had it. So the snotty sales girl finally decided to let me exchange the headband for something else. I looked around the store and couldn't find anything i liked. I asked if i could get store credit so i could come back and look some more when i had more time and maybe when they had more inventory. Snotty Sales Girl wouldn't do that. So I got a different headband that I have yet to wear. I'll never shop there again. read more

The perfect little boutique that has everything Savvy should and then some...trendy and it feels like walking into the InStyle mag. Usually on the pricey side - but can give us girls great sales worth driving to Danville for...Hello True R. cords - 50% off - so good i dragged my roomie down there to spend $$ (sorry K)!! read more

got a cute cotton tank jumper on sale for $35, not really a sale if you ask me, but it was worth the purchase. the sales associate if i can recall her name was jessica was very sweet - that says a lot about the store too. she made suggestions and was very helpful as i noticed to other customers too. i didnt expect danville to have such a cute boutique with a great selection of clothing. i'll definitely be back for both the clothes and the service. read more

By far my favorite store ever! Super affordable and cute! They always are super nice and I always leave with something! Follow them on Instagram for cute outfit ideas and new products! I'm usually there once a week! :) read more

I really love their selection of clothes & the price ranges are awesome to. They do have some super savings so I check in at least once a week for those! The young girls that work there have terrible customer service skills, having a smile on your face & saying hello wouldn't kill you yah know? read more

I have been here several times and have always been greeted upon entry which is more I can say for the snobby/racist boutique across the street (Flaunt). I have found a cute brown Joie top here and beautiful navy & cream top on the sale rack for 50% off. They also have a good selection of your favorite name brand jeans. read more

Ella J is a great place to stop in and get that "great outfit" for your weekend plans! They have rescued me from my wardrobe conundrums many a time. Their girls take a bit of prodding to get exactly what you want, but they don't seem to mind me directing them to what I'm looking for. The store is cute, the clothes are cute, the owner is extremely generous and its so close to home! read more

I love Ella J! The clothes are always so cute and stylish - the new location is just adorable and I'm not kidding, every time I wear something I bought from Ella J, someone stops me to tell me how cute my sweater/dress/skirt is. read more

Great selection and variety of high end designer clothes (i.e. Juicy Couture, True Religion, Seven Jeans, etc...). The service is good, and they even have a little 50% off section ( though I have never found anything that was on sale that I liked. The prices are high (ex. $200 for a pair of Seven Capris Jeans, but they fit like a glove!) but if you like trendy and high fashion you have come to the right place! read more

I have had nothing but GREAT customer service here. I found them in facebook. I am in LOVE with this store and I haven't even made it in there. I have only ordered via Facebook and they are fast with shipping and always send it right away, included in my purchases is always a little something. Once I received these cute socks and once got some amazing hairties. This place is fantastic and we need more of them around the bay. You guys are doing great and thanks so much for being so accomidating with everything!! read more

Ella J is that you? I didn't even know I was in the same store. For years I have avoided this shop with the super cute clothes and super sized price tags. But yesterday I unknowingly walked into there new location and instantly fell in like. What's not to like about a high quality well made Maxi skirt for $28.00? Or a Maxi dress for $32.00? Nothing I tell you! The store is much smaller but thy have kept all the cutest best priced items. I did stumble upon a pair of $200.00 jeans but overall the clothes were affordable. So if you've kept Ella J at arms length in the past You might want to give them another look. read more

I work around the corner and stop in here about 3 times a week. They're always rotating things around and displaying items differently to show unique ways to wear. Staff is friendly. They also have a cute instagram account. read more

My favorite boutique store in the area! I go probably once or twice a month, and there's always new things to try, and the staff are so helpful and lovely! I think the prices are great for the quality and creativity of the clothes and accessories. Wide variety of sizes and types of fits that I think works for all shapes of ladies. read more

Love this place! Prices definitely vary, but they have a good selection of clothes and accessories and the staff is wonderful!

Such a cute little boutique!!! They carry some of my favorite brands and have a great selection of designer jeans (7's, Citizens, True Religion). I went there when they were having one of their big sales.... the selection was pretty good and I got some great stuff! Definitely my favorite place to get my jeans locally. read more

I was pleasantly surprised that not everything in the store was over $50 which can be so common in other boutiques. I picked up a cute shirt and necklace for my friends birthday. I'll be back! The sales girl was sweet. read more

Such a drag. These guys have some great labels...I can always find my favorite jeans here. The bummer is that I've been in many times and have rarely gotten what I would consider to be good customer service (with the exception of one sales girl who knows me...and is GREAT). The Lodi store is much stronger with customer service and general atmosphere. Their prices are high and I paid a pretty penny for some jeans that ripped not too long after purchase. Took the damaged jeans back to Ella J to see if they would contact their rep from this label and I was advised that "(they) don't do that" and that this particular label regularly "falls apart" (which I know to be untrue because I work with this label). I like to be able to support local shops but at this point I don't see how I can continue to support Ella J. read more

great selection, great staff, and overall just great. i'm always greeted with a smile and offers to help find items and to start a fitting room. brands like true religion, harajuku lovers, and the awesome tarina jewelry always keep me coming back. they have a SALE ROOM and i always find something i like every time i stop in. this is a much much better store then the snobby "flaunt" across the street where the service sucks. read more

Do you want adorable clothes at great prices that you won't see on anyone else? GO TO ELLA J BOUTIQUE!!! The selection is GREAT. So many really cute clothes and brands that are HOT and that you won't see anywhere else. Do NOT listen to the mean ladies posting nasty reviews. The prices are NOT high...how much do you expect to pay for Juicy? Or for a pair of your fav brand jeans that lift your butt, slim your thighs, and look fabulous with heels OR flip flops??? I say THAT is priceless! I LOVE Ella J not only for cute dresses and jeans... but I also LOVE them for their casual clothes that I find just drape the body fabulously. The owners must really look for the brands that fit perfectly, have great color selections, AND have a great price. I have always received great service from the staff, but I also SMILE and say nice things....like "Hi." Maybe the other ladies who posted negative reviews were just really bitchy. From listening to their reviews....I wouldn't want to help them either. read more

Ella J. offers the freshest designs, and tons of it! The Danville store carries children's clothing & Mommy apparel too! Lots of accessories to go with your outfits, great handbags, the hippest clothes. It's a great place to run for that last minute gift or a present for yourself. read more

janice says: kinda cute. extremely convenient location. very expensive.

First time ever here. The employees were very helpful and kind. The clothes were cute and reasonably priced. I will be back!

I always stop in here after lunch at Unce Yu's a few doors down. I love Ella J. They have very cute clothes, which are pretty pricey, but they have some great sale items. I got a C&C California tee for like $20, and a sweet pink draped top from some brand I'd never heard of, (that's saying something!),for less than that. I had a major slump for a while, but recently I picked up the cutest little indie scarf without a brand for $16! I thought everone would comment on it at school. Unfortunately, the one everyone loved was a colorful one from PacSun. Minus one star for high prices. read more
