With mashed potatoes and veggie medley, and soup and iced tea for just $12.95! Well JACKPOT! I ordered and this soup came first it was a chickeny flavored tomato broth with tortilla strips and melty white cheese. The broth was WAAAAY to salty. But I liked the concept. It had no veggies or any meaning it. So I ate out the chips and cheese and I would have liked to enjoy that broth but it was so so salty I just could not. When my plate came it was a nice spiced grilled ground round Pattie covered in hot brown gravy with thin sliced onions and small thin sliced fresh mushrooms. Homemade real mashed potatoes, and veggies mix of corn, carrots, peas, and green beans. If it had a dinner roll, it would have been dinner at my house growing up any night of the week. It was so good, the veggies could have used some butter on them. The gravy was great on the meat and potatoes. Sorry I didn't get a pic of that plate, but I was so hungry I just dug in and by the time I thought of a pic, it was half way gone. The clock inside isn't winning any beauty contests. It's still same as it's always been. I think maybe I'd set all the clocks to the correct time or the correct time somewhere and make sure they all worked if possible or had good batteries. Be great if the coco clocks, if any, went off every hour. Bring some more character to the old place, and favorite of many. Come get dinner some after noon or late afternoon. It's a great deal... there were only 2-3 other tables when I got there and when I left no one was there . So you can definitely come get a good cup of Joe and some good food in the afternoon, it's not just for breakfast, which it IS FAMOUS FOR.

As we're close to the Army base some of the items have received GI nicknames as was the case with biscuits and gravy (SOS on the menu!). The coffee refills were plentiful and I supplemented my "SOS" with eggs over easy and hash browns. My wife had the breakfast burrito. She had plenty to take home.

I kept it classic with waffles, bacon, and eggs--and it absolutely hit the mark. The waffles were light, fluffy, and perfectly golden, the bacon was cooked just right, and everything came out fresh and satisfying. Simple comfort food done right. But what really elevated the experience was the atmosphere. They had live musical entertainment by Louie, who was incredible. He played a mix of hits from yesterday and today, moving effortlessly between country & western, contemporary favorites, and traditional Spanish songs. His versatility created a warm, lively environment that both staff and customers clearly enjoyed--it added something special you don't find everywhere. Service was just as impressive. Our server, XAY, had a bright, welcoming smile and provided outstanding service from start to finish. They offered great suggestions on local favorites and specials, which made the experience feel personal rather than routine. The vibe overall is relaxed, inviting, and very "El Paso"--a place where you can sit, enjoy your meal, and stay a while. Overall: Delicious, well-executed brunch classics Live music that enhances the experience (not overwhelms it) Exceptional, friendly service Comfortable, welcoming atmosphere Would I go back? Without a doubt. This is more than just brunch--it's an experience.

I went in for brunch, and one place that absolutely deserves a visit is The Junction Brunch House. The restaurant is set inside a literal house, which gives it a cozy, welcoming feel from the moment you walk in. The service is warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. As for the food? Ay Dios mio! Outstanding. I ordered Big T's Texas Breakfast: two eggs any style, bacon, and pancakes or French toast. I chose scrambled eggs and pancakes. The presentation was impressive, looking more like something you'd expect at a high-end hotel restaurant. The eggs were folded neatly, omelet-style, into a triangle and cooked perfectly--flavorful and fluffy. The bacon was crispy yet juicy, just right. The pancakes were a four-stack, light and fluffy with a beautiful griddle finish. They came with butter mixed with brown sugar and cinnamon, and a side of and maple syrup, which took them to another level. Junction has locally made hot sauce on the table, and fair warning as both packed some serious heat and paired perfectly with the eggs. What really stood out was the attentive service. The staff checked in regularly, made sure I had everything I needed, and seemed to refill my coffee right on cue. While brunch alone makes it worth the trip, the menu offers much more than breakfast. I'm already looking forward to going back to try their lunch options. If you're in El Paso and craving a comfortable atmosphere with excellent food and service, this is a spot you shouldn't miss.

I ordered the Santa Fe chicken skillet with two eggs over easy with green sauce and wheat toast, with coffee. It's my all time favorite. My family and I chose this place after grandpa's funeral service. They were courteous and efficient, as we were a large party. We made special family moments that evening. I'm sure they do amazing service with smaller groups. Menu has food for breakfast lunch and dinner. It's meant to satisfy all bellies. That's why we all agreed to this place. Plenty of parking. Enjoy!

Who wants to make a bet that this restaurant will close soon?…read more Here is why.... My visit was terrible. Customer service was SLOW, no one was at the host stand when we arrived and the food took about 30-45 min to arrive. Most of my family just ordered pie. Literally waited a good 30 minutes for pie. To make matters worse drinks took equally as long. Refills? Nope, we didn't get them and we had to get up to get help at one point, that was to simply pay our bill. Butter Smith Kitchen & Pies is similar to Village Inn but with the ability to buy alcohol. Patrons visiting during my visit were not drinking alcohol. The service seriously lacks and I'm going to say that with as much restaurant competition little old El Paso has, this place will have to revamp their staff, learn customer service, and simply just care to stay competitive and remain open. The worst part for a restaurant is having people who do not care. With only 2 other tables and plenty of staff, the service was a disappointment. You have one shot, and for me, this was a miss! Would never return. The food wasn't great so nothing worth returning for.

This place is a classic El Paso institution--serving up no-frills, satisfying Mexican diner fare that hits the spot. I ordered the machaca burrito, and my daughter went with the chorizo burrito. Both were delicious, flavorful, and generously portioned--exactly what you'd hope for from a neighborhood Mexican cafe. The prices were very reasonable, making this a great value meal. The service was friendly, though understandably a bit slow with how busy the place was. Still, the staff managed the crowd with warmth and efficiency. The atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a well-loved local spot--laid-back, packed with regulars, and buzzing with conversation. Even on a Monday morning, the place was full and parking was hard to find, which tells you everything you need to know. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had a classic diner vibe that made us feel right at home. It's clear this is a popular go-to for locals--and now, we see why. Would definitely come back next time we're in the area.

Their 50's diner feel is cool, complete with small booths and a working kitchen in clear view. Started off with a hot cup of coffee which was good. When you pay and they give you a receipt, it is only a summary, if you want details of what they charged. You have to ask for the detailed receipt. Only positive was them accepting apple pay and the employee whom argued with the manager, cleaned the grill later on.
