    Chile Verde Super Burro

I came here with my boyfriend for the first time and we left really happy with the experience, service and the quality of the food. Everyone is so nice and friendly. We got the burrito (warning it's not a regular size burrito lol) and it was yummy as well as the chicken sandwich!!! Definitely coming here again

    The Dean Torta!

The Tortas and Burritos are where it's at ! Obviously they have other menu items like the amazing red chili enchiladas and chilaquiles but if I had to recommend something for your first time I'd say to get the Dean Torta ! I'm convinced that people who hate this place are the type of people that go to steakhouses and order fish or BBQ joints and order salad then complain about the taste . My point is when you come here get what they are known for Burritos and Tortas and save the exploring for another time . You will be pleasantly surprised and less inclined to hate what you ordered . If your a professional burrito connoisseur and you love Mexican food you will like the chicharron burrito with some green salsa doused all inside . If you want something safe but delicious the Dean Torta like I had mentioned is outstanding. The location on Montana is the only one I can speak for. They open at 7:30 am and close at 4 pm apparently so get here on time and don't miss out !

Honestly very middle of the road when it comes to the food. The service was good. The food was made quickly. I had the Hearty Breakfast Skillet. The chile was hot. I wanted to like this. Honestly all I could think is the skillets at Village inn are better... also tried a chile colorado burrito, it was good and very large. The prices here are reasonable, and is a good place to eat if you are really hungry. Over all I have nothing bad to say, but nothing really stood out. I will need to try some more things on the menu.

When I'm town, I always hit up this joint for the worlds largest and most tasty breakfast burritos this side of the rio grand. The service is always nice and restaurant clean. Do yourself a favor and grab a meal here

We have been coming here for 17 YEARS. Best.tasting chile verde burrito in town says my husband and about the size of your forearm. I like the half chile relleno / half picadillo or I get one or their great burgers and wings. Nice place for breakfast. And CHEAP! We used to go there at least once a week, but we have moved and its a 45 minute drive from home. It is closer to my husband's work, so if he has the time, he stops as often as he can for lunch. NOW FOR YOU PEOPLE WRITING THE BAD REVIEWS: You walk in, you place your order at the counter from a young teenager. They bring you your order. Not real hightech, you should be able to figure it out. I don't understand the bad reviews for this. It's same idea behind every fast food burrito place in town. What kind of "customer service" are you looking for? This isn't a sit with menu in hand and they serve you kinda place. And seriously, a bad review for the food being too big? What is wrong with you people!! Yes, they hire young teenagers here. But we have never once, in the hundreds of times we have been here, have we ever been treated rudely, given the wrong food or cold food, or NOT spoken to in English when they found out we don't speak Spanish. And overpriced? Are you kidding me!!?? Very reasonably priced. Are you sure you are reviewing the right place?

Beans and rice on the side are optional / modest extra charge - they are usually very good and worth adding if you're hungry enough. My favorite sauce is the Chipotle. It's got heat as it's also creamy...I would call it medium (I like spicy food.) If you're getting them to go, you might want the sauce and toppings on the side. They usually ask about that, but occasionally they might forget. Service is usually friendly and efficient even when they are busy. Your food is made to order, so it's fast but not instantaneous. Allow 5-10 minutes for pickup most of the time. The dining room is medium-sized. I would say it's a place to eat and go, not stay and linger.

We ordered the flautas with chipotle sauce and the chilaquiles with half red and half green sauce. The chilaquiles were absolutely amazing. We added a runny egg since we couldn't do chicken, and it gave the dish extra flavor and a good boost of protein. The flautas (which I'd honestly describe more as taquitos dorados) were crunchy and tasty. We liked the chipotle sauce that came with them, but we actually loved dipping them into the chilaquile sauce even more. Overall, it was a great spot to grab breakfast before hitting the road again for many more hours. Highly recommend!

Which were good (lacked a little crisp but had good flavor). The green salsa at the table was fantastic, a little slice but a ton of flavor. Everything was fresh, the chips were freshly baked, the rice was not day old rice like at so many places around here it was good and actually had some flavor, the beans were good (the bright orange color of the beans surprised me, turmeric? Regardless they were delicious). Unfortunately the meat had zero spices, not even salt. The only reason not taking off a star is the salsa paired perfectly with the shredded beef tacos and the green chili burger, but a little bit of salt would have elevated the meal for sure. There was no salt on the meat in any of the meals we'd ordered. The coffee was good and strong, the mugs weren't tiny little mugs they actually gave you enough coffee to enjoy and the experience over all was wonderful. My mom spoke Spanish, I border on no sabo, pero intendo and my kids speak no Spanish at all, the menu was all Spanish but the waitress was patient and sweet with every order. Definitely worth the visit.

A splash of Texas and a sprinkle of Mexican bring this BBQ to over the top flavor town. Yup, I said. I envoked the Guy Fiere-ism. The BBQ is only available Fri-Sun, and it's located inside Fanatics on Montwood and Lee Trevino. The bar is a little divey, but it's clean and spacious. The times we've gone it's never super full, and the micheladas are cold. The bloody Mary's are on point if you like some spicy kick. Papamigos has an extra special Sun brunch yumminess as well. Check out their IG for pics. I haven't tried it, but we've tried their whole regular menu and nom nom nom. Here are some of our favs: The brisket is the most tender I've had. They have an AMAZING brisket taco with freshly homemade tortillas topped with an egg. Sigh! Foodiegasm! The pulled pork is tender and flavorful. It's little pork pillows of bursting flavor. The pork ribs are fall of the bone tender. My husband, an avid griller and smoker, took several mins to say something. That silence spoke volumes! The macaroni and coleslaw salads. These are not your traditional sides. They're light and compliment the BBQ perfectly. The coleslaw is a vinger slaw that is flavorful but light and balances the fattiness of the meats perfectly. The macaroni is this awesome combo of macaroni and elote. It's light and citrusy and comes topped with tajin. Just taste it. None of that heavy mayo mess here. (Trigger warning for mayo lovers.) The salsas are all homemade and have flavor but don't overpower all the smokey flavor they put into the meat. Below are pics of what we had today. The sausage bites and a two meat combo. This was more than enough for two people. Extra special: The place is run by brothers. They are orignially from the Valley but moved to EP. One of them always come out to check on you and ask about the flavor. Some might not like the chit-chat, but we do. It's quite clear they care about the food their making, and the food tastes like the love they put into it.
