The lighting, music, and overall facade of the walls looked great! The staff was friendly, and one if the cooks even came out to make sure our food was satisfactory. I had been to their location near UTEP years ago and happened upon their other location during a recent business trip to El Paso. The restaurant is clean, spacious and has a great vibe for lunch or dinner. Full bar and craft beers add to the nice touch too. The menu is how I remember. Eclectic and able to satisfy a variety of tastes. I had their Ancient Grains bowl with chicken. Just like I remember, it was hearty, earthy, and overall very satisfying. Been craving a Bloody Mary for weeks & when on vacation there isn't a better time! I checked yelp for breakfast / brunch spots & saw this place had a full bar and was like that's where we're going! The Bloody Mary did not disappoint, hit the spot with just the right amount of kick. Me & hubby both got the No Brainer breakfast sandwich and were surprised when I came out not exactly a sandwich more like toast with toppings. BUT don't let that deter you, it was decadent in flavor and absolutely satisfying. The fruit was ok we think they might not be in season with them being as hard as they were but what can you do! Servers taking too long to take orders or to drop off the check (which correlates with them not checking on us after dropping off the food) has been a common occurrence the past 3 times I've eaten here. Service is good, servers are very attentive. The ambiance is pretty relaxed on a slow night, which is when it's quiet. On busy nights they still meet the mark, although it gets much noise. The food is ridiculously good; El Paso is blessed to have this variety added to their culinary repertoire. They have some really interesting drinks and alcoholic drinks as well. Keep in mind that service can crawl very slowly on busy nights. Normally that would bring it down by 1 star, but I think the food quality and other offerings make up the difference. Generally all Craves are a bit overpriced and menu could use a bit of a fresher taste but for what El Paso has to offer it is one of the "spots" and too will get a good quality meal out of the experience. read more

After work this past Friday, we dropped by the Rojas location for dinner. The place was packed & busy as usual but you come to expect that... I wanted to try something new so I ordered the "New" Roasted Red Chile Chicken with a side salad and the roasted Borunda corn. We were driving through Texas and stumbled across these cool place called Crave kitchen and bar. The ambiance is very nice not very bright but there's plenty of light to see your food. I visited this restaurant while visiting El Paso and I have to say that the food here is really good. The group I went with tried various dishes so that we could all sample each other's . Some dishes that we ordered were the Chicken and waffles, Chorizo and cheese rolled flautas, 808 Burger, Grilled Mahi Tacos and more. Each of us were pleasantly surprised at how great all the food was. What gave this restaurant 4 of out 5 instead of 5 out of 5 was the customer service. We had to wait for 45 ministers (which was not a big deal as we were all talking and such) but then when we sat down our waiter had a very "don't ask me to do more then the bare minimum attitude". He served us and was not rude but he did not like to be asked for additional things. The food took forever to come out as well but it was at least still warm. Overall the food made up for the lack of customer service and I honestly think we would visit again to give their customer service another chance. read more

This wasn't a great experience. Our waiter started off great but as the night went on it got pretty bad. Our food took an hour to come out, after thirty minutes our waiter came back to let us know that one or the dishes we ordered wasn't available. Once the food started coming out, most of it was cold. Mac n cheese, waffles, chicken, tacos, pretty cold. One of our Mac n cheese came out hot, it was really good. I loved the fries as well. When our waiter asked us if everything was alright, we mentioned it was cold and our waiter seemed like a deer in the headlights. After a second he offered to send his manager over, but she didn't come out. The waiter came back 15 minutes later and asked if we needed boxes since we were done, we didn't want to bring anything home. After 30 minutes the check stil hadn't come out. The waiter was at the bar talking with some other people, and when we went up to ask for the check he didn't seem to know that we needed one. We then asked to speak to the manager, and she came out shortly. She asked what was going on, we explained that we had cold food and before we could continue any constructive criticism she jumped in saying that they would've heated the food up had we asked but they didn't know we wanted that, and she was already planning on giving us a discount for our bad experience. The bill came out shortly, with a small discount, and added gratuity of 18 percent. I don't like not tipping, so even though I had a poor experience I was planning on tipping 10 percent. Added gratuity without making it clear from the beginning is theft. read more

We recently went for breakfast at around 10:30 am and were told there was only one cup of coffee left because they had run out of coffee beans! Really? I was kind of disappointed about that but oh well. Me and my friend still ordered a churro waffle. It's offered under the dessert section. It was just ok. The thing I liked most about it were the two scoops of cinnamon gelato. It was delish! The waffle sort of tasted stale and wasn't warm. The waffle was $9. I think that's kind of pricey. I expected a bit more. The waitress took a long time to take our order and even longer to bring the food. The other times I've gone for dinner were much better. The food and service were better.
