Beautiful new location in West Town Marketplace
    Marie G.

This is a new location and much needed in this section of town. The bartenders are on point and have fabulous Saturday brunch cocktails- just enough booze to get you feeling good about the day ahead. Some of my favorite items are the Monte Cristo sandwich, French Toast sandwiching turkey, ham and Swiss cheese, with stone ground mustard and cranberry jelly on the side, and my other favorite is the blueberry pancakes. I cannot tell you how good these pancakes are- they are covered with lemon curd and dusted with powdered sugar and almost seem like a dessert. Both these items come with a side, and I usually get the bacon- three thick slices of perfectly cooked peppercorn bacon...and lots of black coffee.

I go here every time I'm in El Paso for work and the food never disappoints. Chicken and waffles are on point!

Black and shrimp, tacos, and green chili mac & cheese

Greetings Texas!!!! Well this place is mid at best. I had the Blackened shrimp tacos, green chilli Mac and cheese and a house salad. The shrimp tacos were horrible more like pan seared than blackened, and it tasted like they were frozen, then unthawed in water. When you blacken something, it's supposed to have seasoning, some flavor. I thought when I came to Texas, things would be spicier have some seasoning to your food. Y'all is bland as Arizona!!!!! The only good thing about this meal was the green chili mac & cheese , it's nice a little kick with the spice of the green chili made the mac & cheese interesting.

    The delicious sangria!

Quiet evening, an hour before closing, and the staff was ready for anything. Pretty venue. The chef welcomed our table. Great specials BTW. Especially Faculty Friday discounts. The soju cocktails are especially refreshing. And they make an excellent Old Fashioned. The pot stickers are a must-order for appetizers. Delicate wrapper, crisp finish, chorizo and Italian sausage filling. And yet they were light. Sooooo good. Don't miss the lettuce wraps either. Beef, chicken, kim chi. Yum. We also ordered beef stroganoff (must order dish here), green chile Alfredo, whipped feta burger, and strawberry ginger salad. All are highly recommended. No tipping policy. Staff are paid appropriately. I 100% approve of that. If this place was in Austin or Houston it would have an hour wait for a table. Innovative food, great service, an engaged chef, and a pretty venue. Michelin star worthy if they ever visit EP.

The food is delicious, the service is good, but if it gets too crowded, they won't be able to see you. If you need to, maybe make a reservation. I'm totally interested in coming back to try their cocktails. Some friends visiting El Paso, earlier in the year, made it in for dinner said that they truly enjoyed it. I was a bit jealous. During the most recent brunch, I enjoyed an avocado toast, with a side of eggs. I should have considered another protein on the side, but after all was said and done, I was full and happy with that. The coffee was hot and bottomless. An interesting note is that they pay their servers a full wage so you don't have to tip...but if you did, they would very much appreciate it. They also have a military discount. We will return.

The staff is very friendly and attentive. Their menu items are great and have an enjoyable twist. I'm a bit hooked on their guacamole and zucchini fries. I have enjoyed everything I have tried so far. The classic burger is juicy and the beef has a great flavor. The southwest scrambler also had a great blend of flavors. I added bacon strips on the side. It did not disappoint. The flavor of the bacon was a great addition. Everything tastes better with bacon! I was simple with my drink order and had an orange mimosa (several). Great flavor. Makes it difficult to get just one. They do offer other flavors and flights along with many other cocktail choices and beer. I recently tried the steak and eggs, a new menu item. You have options when you order. I ordered mine with scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon (of course), and toast with my medium steak. The eggs were delicious and so fluffy. The flavor of the bacon went so well with the eggs and the potatoes. I like steaks. To me, the flavor of the steak was missing something compared to the rest of the plate. This has been the only time that I have not finished everything on the plate. I'm sure the seasoning of the steak will improve . I'm not saying the flavor was bad making the steak inedible. The flavor was just not to my liking. This does not stop me from returning and I still highly recommend that you stop by. I haven't gotten to the prices! I have been to brunch in many places across the country and in Texas. Sadly, many are disappointing and seem to feel that because it's "brunch" they can over charge for their plates and especially their drinks. I am so glad Nomel does not. The location is not conveniently close to the highway, but it is definitely worth the drive.

After seeing their steak tacos on their website, I ordered them what I got was not the same as the picture. I asked for medium rare it was overcooked. There was hardly any cucumber cabbage slaw. I'm allergic to onion, so didn't try that and they forgot crema. Portions were small. I did like the black beans though, and I thought the tortillas were tasty. My friend ordered the Southwest scrambler and asked for poached eggs instead of scrambled. The server said no substitutes could be made. The eggs were overcooked and rubbery. We thought we would try their $14 chocolate cake. One bite announced it was terrible. We sent it back and they took it off the check. Maybe with a little more time they'll get situated but for now I don't recommend it.
