We stopped in to have breakfast! The breakfast food was great! Coffee delicious! Had a Pomegranate Mimosa so good! Christian our server was very nice, efficient and respectful! Such a nice place we sat outside with all the water fountains! Absolutely gorgeous! Highly recommend this place!
This is such a unique restaurant in town! For the most part, a lot of the restaurants around here have the same kind of feel. The garden patio space here gives this space a unique ambiance and the outdoor misters are a plus on hot summer days! I had an appointment to get to so we told the server we were in a bit of a time crunch. She was able to place our order and get us out of there with just enough time to get down the road! The food was beautifully plated and the best food I had on my most recent trip! I highly recommend this place - the only downside was the parking lot was a little bit of a walk from the entrance.
Such a happenin' brunch spot! This was the first meal that I had after touching down in El Paso, and damn was it delicious! I arrived around 12:30 and the place packed (as expected). They use the Yelp waitlist which is super handy since it shows how many parties are ahead of you and lets you know when your table is ready. It took about 25 minutes but there are lots of comfy seats out on their patio that you can relax in while you wait. I sat inside but their patio space is beautiful! Tons of different places to sit and they're all covered for the most part. They also have a lovely outdoor bar with bar patio seating too. Their indoor space is very open, airy, and well lit. It was also a lot cooler inside, so perfect for beating that El Paso heat. Although it was a busy Saturday afternoon, service was attentive for the most part. It was still brunch time, so I ordered the Challah French Toast with a side of bacon and a Prickly Pear mimosa. First of all, can I have a round of applause for these portion sizes puh-leeeease?! Like wow! The Challah French Toast was thick, fluffy, and topped with fresh berries. It arrived to my table lookin' picture perfect too. The bacon was good and what you'd typically suspect. But let's get into that mimosa right quick. Love the fact that they use large wine glasses instead of skinny champagne glasses to serve them up. The most, the merrier if you ask me. The Prickly Pear Mimosa had a sweet and tangy taste which was nice. Also, can you believe that it was only $3?! If I had more time to spend there, I probably would have just gotten a carafe for $18! Hella cheap! One mimosa costs about that much where I'm from, so this was an absolute steal in my eyes. It seems like a lot of locals frequent this spot which is always a pleasure to see. I chatted with a sweet lady who was sitting next to me, and she said that she comes to the Kitchen regularly for brunch. I can totally see why! A wonderful brunch was had here at the Kitchen at 150 Sunset. If you're looking for a fun brunch spot in El Paso, this is the place!
We went to 150 Sunset on a Sunday morning around 11am. We did use the Yelp waitlist feature, but it was actually not as busy as usual when we went so we were seated immediately. The parking is a bit of a nightmare, but the business offices next to the restaurant do allow parking for 150 Sunset on weekends and after business hours. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated, but felt a tiny bit crowded. Service was alright and we had everything we needed. Nothing to write home about, but also not neglectful or rude. The food was delicious. I ordered the breakfast toastie, which had bacon, eggs, and hashbrowns on sourdough. My friends all enjoyed their food as well, including the French toast, veggie omelet, and a breakfast sandwich. Overall, I'd recommend for a casual but still really nice brunch. My only true complaint is that I didn't love their latte, but there's a coffee shop across the street so you can get your caffeine fix there.
The food is always amazing. The service has gotten A LOT better. Our waitress was so professional and continually checked to see if we needed anything. She had a great attitude and we were very impressed with her (Jaqueline). The new manager is very hands-on and he's always checking on tables and helping out to set tables and make sure that everything runs smoothly. So impressed!
Food was delicious! Service was great!! And the restaurant is beautiful!! Can't wait to go back and enjoy this place again
This establishment has a lot of nice charm. Tanya was our server and she was great. Even though it was the lunch rush, she made it feel like we didn't need to wait that long. She suggested the Peach Burger, which I was reluctant about based upon the notion of goat cheese with pork belly and peaches. My colleague and I tried it. It was AMAZING. Everything just worked together. Great food and wonderful people that work there. I hope to be able to visit El Paso again in the future and dine there again.
Huge menu, plenty of indoor & outdoor seating available. No wait to be seated around Sunday brunch time. Cheap mimosas but weird serving logic - can't have one in front of you unless you have food in front of you. Ohkaaaay, what's the reasoning for this? The fact that it's Sunday? Whatever the reason, it's dated & stupid. Also, they charge extra for credit/debit payments, again dated and stupid. Food & drinks are great! Update your business policies to the 21st century Sincerely, Literally anyone with a pulse.
Interesting Mediterranean/midwestern home meets modern decor. It wanted a hipster upscale vibe but it clearly missed the mark. Pros: Madame Croquet was delicious. The spinach side was lemony and savory, I truly enjoyed it. French Toast has been the best in town so far. Cons: Oh goodness. The Chorizo Tacos were dry and yet chewy at the same time. The tortillas were Mission store bought quality and added nothing but saltiness to the dish. The Grilled Focaccia Benedict was.. interesting. I don't understand the asparagus, brisket, egg combo. The hollandaise was great, but everything else just tasted plain and weirdly put together. Service was adequate. True to the area, the waiters ignored us for half an hour immediately after taking our plates away. I'd always wondered why the wait to get in was so long, it turns out it's because it's really hard to clear tables when they don't let patrons pay and leave.
The manager replied to my review and I hope by colorful language he meant he understood the point that their food does not meet exquisite taste. I attached pics. In fact the menus are basic. The use of good popular ingredients with poor execution to over price a menu is theft. Use the facts I have given and adjust ingredients and develop the execution of complex flavors. If the truth hurts I feel it's your staff that is suffering and you're the problem. Do better. Adding a sauce or practicing dry and moist cooking methods are skills you can learn from watching a cooking show.
Brunch fries are delicious! The dressing on the salads for the 150 Sunset is so flavorful and fresh. We had the passionfruit martini and it is the perfect summer drink. Absolutely recommend it! I think it was a special. Our server was Adrian and he took such a great care of us! Type of service you hope for whenever you eat out. Great place for brunch!
Good food and service. A little bit of a wait, but definitely a place to return for another meal.

Oh my goodness, I have to tell you about my experience at 150 Sunset in El Paso--it was absolutely amazing! First off, Dillan was our server, and let me just say, he was a total rockstar! He recommended the Prickly Pear Mimosa, and wow, I'm still dreaming about it--it's a must-try. He was so patient with my indecisive friend Susan (yes, the one in the blue jeans), treating her like the queen she truly is. Dillan is amazing. We are not use to drinking but thankfully he keeps the "mimosa" secrets in house! Josh (or was it John?) also jumped in to assist, and their teamwork made the whole evening feel extra special. The food? Stunning and so delicious! I wish I had asked to meet the chef because they clearly have magic hands in the kitchen. Highly recommend for anyone looking for great vibes, amazing service, and food that's just as beautiful as it tastes!" read more

We arrived for a brunch outing at 11:30 am on a Saturday. Just in time, before the large wait. I always enjoy coming because of the setting and food. This time was equally nice. Service was a little slow but friendly. Food was hot and fresh. The prices were decent, regular coffee was $1.50 each - definately can't beat that now a days. My favorite thing about this place may be how consistent an experience it has become. Lovely. read more

I was born and raised in El Paso Texas, but now live in Alabama. Our friends recommended this place and we decided to try it and I'm so glad we did! Nathalia was our server and she is so sweet and amazing. A man, who I'm assuming is the manager or owner, kept checking up on us, and other tables, so needless to say service is 100/10! I ordered the chilaquiles & my husband had the breakfast tacos. The chilaquiles were amazing! The drinks were so good, lychee mojito and espresso martini. $66 for two entrees and two drinks, I'd say bang for your buck for great food and great drinks. They're currently remodeling as well, but the place was already really nice, so I can't wait to see it once it's done. Highly recommend! read more

The atmosphere is 5/5 stars - beautiful cool, covered patio - lots of seating, couches, fire pits, and greenery. It's a little oasis! We'd love to come back for dinner to see how it is then. We went on a Sunday morning and it wasn't too crowded, we were seated immediately. It got busier definitely as we left around ten. We sat for about ten minutes before we flagged a waiter down to get some drinks - he was super helpful, and I think it was just a one off that we got missed by having a waiter. Food came out quick. It was good, don't get me wrong - but it's a bit on the pricey side of things. It wasn't excellent of even great, but we will be back because of the service and the atmosphere. read more

Service - 2 Food - 2 Wait times - 1 This is not our first visit, and what we hoped was a "off day" for food and service in the past, we realize is just the MO of this establishment. It's a solid 15 minutes before your drink order is taken, no silverware for 10 min after the food is delivered. Empty drink glasses aren't taken from the table. Even worse, they serve canned food. Nacho cheese sauce on "huevos rancheros" and a dozen bright pink maraschino cherries in granola. I felt like I was eating food from a high school football stadium. Staff is polite and addressed the issue, seems they lack management, proper coverage for dining sections, and a legitimate chef/menu. read more

Raquel, thank you so much for the 5 stars! We are glad to hear you…
I was so shocked to pull up to this place and see how large it was and how beautiful the outside seating area was. The stone floors and umbrellas with an open area, running water, and tranquil scenery sets the mood immediately. Inside is also a spectacle as they have a large area inside for events that looked perfect for wedding receptions and large events. But to get to the food. Everything on the menu looked absolutely fantastic but I decided on the Challah French Toast because I had been craving it recently. It was plated so aesthetically and the first bite sent me into a nostalgic twist of mom style French toast while adding a depth of flavor that I hadn't seen before. The bread was so soft and tasted almost clean but was so sweet and tasty. The fruits accented well to the sweetness of the syrup and bread. My friends got the Breakfast Quesadillas, Croque Madame and both of them said they were fantastic. I will definitely be coming back here to try so many other items on the menu. read more

The Kitchen at 150 Sunset is always highly recommended for breakfast and brunch. The amount of parties waiting to eat here says a lot as well. We went with the intentions of having brunch, but after an hour long wait we went with lunch! I had the chicken BLT as a recommendation from the waitress and it did not disappoint. Full of flavor with the sweet but peppered bacon, the pesto, and well seasoned chicken it was fantastic! A little messy, but the flavor alone cancels that out. We saw many orders of avocado toast and French toast come out that also looked amazing. We will be back for brunch next time! read more

As the world reopens and a lot of people and businesses are not rating a passing grade for smart, responsible, safe behavior, the Kitchen at 150 Sunset gets an A grade from me. First visit. Tables are socially distanced, masks required, servers gave perfect service while keeping a distance except when placing food or beverage in front of you. Food and wine (Chili Salmon with zucchini and jicama and the Quilt Cabernet) were amazing. Service from Adrian even better! Bread pudding to go was a delicious double portion! read more

Have came here many times in the past but this time it seems that they changed to their fall menu which has less options and the staff seemed very frazzled even though it seemed to be a normal amount of people coming though. I think I'll wait to come back to see what their winter menu has to hold. We got their humus which they had changed the recipe for. It was very oily and not very good. Also I got the breakfast quesadilla which was good. For dessert we ordered the raspberry chocolate tart. Not what I was expecting when it came out but it tasted good. read more

My family and I came in for brunch while we were in town. Great service and great food! They were all delicious with the crème brûlée being my favorite! It's our second time coming and we will definitely be back! read more

This place doubles as an event venue as well as a nursery, so it's worth it to explore. Ambiance - Rustic feel but very classy and elegant. It's no wonder many weddings take place here! Service - Quick and speedy, but I also went fairly early for Sunday brunch which meant less customers overall. Food - Had the 150 omelet and the breakfast quesadilla. Both were nothing super special but were decent and made for a great Sunday brunch. Serving size wise was a bit hefty (I actually wasn't able to finish the breakfast quesadilla!) and pricing was reasonable. I've actually been avoiding this place for the last couple of years since I didn't have a good experience food wise then, but I'm glad that I was able to give it another try! Their menu definitely changed since and the food has improved as well. Overall, a nice place to check out if you're looking for some good brunch in a cute area. read more
