Food was amazing, birria tacos, Baja fish tacos, apricot siracha burger, and chili cheese fries were all incredible. The BEST crispy seasoned fries ever! Service was top notch, friendly, fast, and attentive. We sat in the back area/bar, great music, relaxed lighting, and just chill environment over all! Would definitely come here again!

Sabertooth is a decent spot for food. I only say food because although Hope and Anchor is literally connected, they do not serve drinks from the bar. If you wanted to order a drink, you will have to either order at Hope and take it back or order at Sabertooth and eat it next door. Minor inconvenience but still worth mentioning. The food I did order was decent. The Mac and cheese, although had a creamy sauce, in my opinion could have used more flavor. The fries were very standard, but the crown burger I ordered was really delicious. The bathroom and restaurant noticeably had a few flies when I went as well. I understand I went during the summer and I usually let a few slide, but it was enough where it warranted mentioning in this review. Overall I had a pretty decent experience. If when I come back and these problems are fixed I would happily rate it higher!

This place is consistently good with their food. Love everything they offer. We hadn't been around since pre-pandemic but we came back for a lunch visit and it's was great. Quick service, delicious food, kind employees. Servings are generous portions. Will come back regularly.

Came back for the fish tacos and tried the pulled pork torta! All very good! Need to remember that tacos are $2 on Thursdays!

Fish tacos and veggie tacos are worth the efforts to try this place. They are what you want in a fish opinion fried to a perfect crisp with a great batter not just flour with cabbage no grilled fish offerings Veges tacos are really good especially with salsa Parking is limited! And really tight. I had to have my daughter ground guide me out. If you have a big truck or big vehicle and are in capable of parking like me. if you have an option to take a smaller vehicle do. Atmosphere is quaint bar stool type seating not the most comfortable. Appetizers looked good hamburgers looked Good

Would love to give 5-stars but the service was beyond slow, other than that...AMAZING FOOD! Besides my youngest getting tacos, we all go burgers. They were juicy and cooked to perfection. The homemade fries and Mac&Cheese were the best sides to complete our meals. Like I stated earlier waiting a full 25-min before I got my burger while the rest of my family ate was a little unbearable. However, this is a burger place this Philly born/Jersey raised girl will visit again!

Walking in, there was a cool flower art installation hanging over the tables, which was a really unique touch and probably one of the more memorable parts of the space. That said, the overall vibe felt a little bland and didn't quite match the hype we were expecting. Food-wise, the experience was a bit mixed. We ordered a ribeye, but it unfortunately came out pretty cold. We let our server know and he did take it back so the kitchen could warm it up, which we appreciated. The table bread that came out was also on the dry side and not very impressive. The spicy margarita ended up being one of the better parts of the meal. It wasn't actually on the menu, but they made one for us and it was really good. We also ordered fries, which were solid, and the bone marrow (called "Mexican butter") was easily the highlight! It sauce that it came with! 10/10 It was rich, flavorful, and definitely the best thing we tried. ‼One quick heads-up for anyone visiting: there's a nail sticking out of the handrail going down the stairs to the bathroom, so just be careful grabbing the railing on the way down.‼ Overall, there were a couple good items, but the experience felt a little underwhelming compared to the expectations from the reviews. Maybe it was just an off night.

The steak was well seared and at the temperature I requested, medium, which is sometimes hard to do with this cut of steak. It was well-seasoned and juicy! The potatoes and green beans were cooked perfectly as well. Our server was really kind and efficient when it came to servicing the size of our party. I ordered the calamari and the skirt steak. The calamari was very crispy, and came out super fast (like, within minutes). Plate wise, it looks massive, but I could have definitely finished it off by myself. The skirt steak was a different story. It took forever to come out. I was texting a friend from when I ordered to when I received it, and it took 30 minutes. I don't totally understand how since the restaurant barely had any tables... but it was good? In that time though, I didn't know where my server was, and no one has checked in on me so I didn't even know how to ask about my food. Under normal conditions, I think I would be happy with this meal, and would order it again. Would I come back? I think so. The salmon sounded very yummy. I don't think I'd order the calamari again though.

We started with a vegan pozole, inspired by the way the dish evolved over centuries. It was hearty, flavorful, and came with a fascinating history lesson. The sopes made with nixtamalized corn were rich and satisfying, with a personal touch -- tied to memories of his father making arrachera on weekends. From Chinese influences on tortillas and soy-sauced chiles, to Lebanese-Jewish inspired hummus with chipotle, and even Moorish Spain's paella -- every plate highlighted how cultures have blended to shape Borderland flavors. I loved how passionate Chef Rulis is about connecting food, family, and history. The dishes were not only delicious, but each one told a story. I'm so glad El Paso will get to experience this now beyond his smaller private dinners. Can't wait to go back when they officially reopen -- this is going to be a must-visit restaurant in El Paso!

The restaurant has a charming French vibe that makes it a pleasant place to sit down and enjoy a meal. I ordered a rosé, but the pour was surprisingly small. It honestly felt more like a tasting portion than a standard glass, which was a little disappointing. For food, I tried the fromage raclette. It was good, but I'm not sure it was worth the $29 price tag. I finished it because I was hungry, but it didn't really stand out or feel like something special. I don't mind paying higher prices when a dish is amazing, but San Antonio really has no business charging that much for something that's just okay. It's not California or New York, and the cost of living here isn't the same, so the value just didn't quite add up. Overall, great service and a nice atmosphere, but the value for what I ordered didn't completely match the price.
