This is my 2nd time here, first time was over 3-4 years ago. This time was slightly disappointing mainly because we paid $200 for tiny portions of entrees. The salmon was tiny, the duck plate had 4 slithers. The only bread pudding was huge, but not as good as it read on menu. The Irish Coffee was so strong and not good at all. The White Russian, Espresso Martini, and Raspberry Bourbon Smash tasted good. The service was good, the ambiance is really nice. The place was busy but plenty of servers and the food came out quick. The crab cakes had great flavor, it only comes with two. I feel like the first time I went, the portions were more reasonable, but maybe it's just the economy. ‍

During a quick trip to El Paso, I stopped by Park Tavern to meet a friend for drinks--but we got a little hungry, so I ended up ordering the chicken sandwich. I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture, but trust me, it was really good! The service was great, and the ambiance had a romantic feel--perfect for a date night or a nice dinner out. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely come back. Next time, I'll have to try one of their main dishes. Highly recommend!

Damn, that was good! This was one of the Top 30 meals of my life. Most definitely memorable. In fact, I usually eat super fast, but in this case, I ate slowly and savored each bite. The Chicken was great, the Wild Rice was wow, and I have never tasted carrots like that before in my life. Carrots have always been good not great to me, but whatever they did here, they nailed it! The service was also strong. They wouldn't hover but were always there once they saw you might need something. And the whole place is a good vibe. The prices are a little high, especially for El Paso, but you pay for what you get (or the other way around). Highly recommended!

Great food, great ambiance, good service and great wine! For appetizer we started with the tuna sashimi which was tasty but a bit on the dry side, despite all the ponzu sauce around it which made me think maybe the tuna wasn't so fresh. The two cocktails we ordered were on point! Raspberry lemon and a spicy margarita. My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich, it was hot and you could tasty the spices the pork was seasoned/roasted with, to include cinnamon. The fries that came with the sandwich were fresh and crispy and I would be 100% surprised if they don't make it from scratch at the restaurant. I ordered the Branzino, a fried whole fish on a bed of Jazmine rice and asparagus with Parmesan cheese on the side. I understand that depending on your food perspective a whole fish on your plate may look a bit scary, but it was delicious!! The white, mild and flaky fish meat was amazing!! It takes some work to separate the fish from fish bones, but worth it! Extra lemons was a must for me!! We ordered a bottle of Chablis (white wine) with our entres and it was the perfect complement to the meals. Disappointed they don't offer military discount and they may apologize all they want but come on...just do it! :)

Unexpectedly cool! Great vibe and the service was perfection. We had an assortment of the apps - as in 5 choices and they were all delish. Try the crab cakes! This gave us a great first impression of El Paso!

When I saw tavern I was expecting something rustic but what I got was elegance. Roberto was our server and he was very nice and efficient. Sat in a booth and the seats were very plush. Decor was modern with crisp lines and art work that paid homage to old El Paso. Very classy. Food was excellent. I had the chicken sandwich and it was well prepared with a really tasty light sauce. Fries were great. Perfect size for lunch. Very reasonable cost. Definitely stop here for a great experience.

We stopped at the park Tavern for a before dinner drink. Love the decor and the bartender was very friendly and inviting. Enjoyed a few custom cocktails both were delicious. I did peruse the menu while I was there and we have an interest in enjoying dinner here.

Rack of lamb with scallops- tasted great! The sides were asparagus and sauerkrauts.

Food is great. I ordered rack of lamb and added scallops with sides of asparagus and brussel sprouts. The lamb was tender and tasty- cooked perfectly. I was surprised to find well cooked & fresh scallops in El Paso- not expecting that since they're inland. The scallops came with a bed of rice and topped with jalapeño. The brussel sprouts were not bad- I'm not a big fan of them but decided to try them anyway. The server, Laura, is very attentive and usually checks on you to see if you need anything. There is a bar and a not so loud music plays in the background so ambiance is great.

We started with a vegan pozole, inspired by the way the dish evolved over centuries. It was hearty, flavorful, and came with a fascinating history lesson. The sopes made with nixtamalized corn were rich and satisfying, with a personal touch -- tied to memories of his father making arrachera on weekends. From Chinese influences on tortillas and soy-sauced chiles, to Lebanese-Jewish inspired hummus with chipotle, and even Moorish Spain's paella -- every plate highlighted how cultures have blended to shape Borderland flavors. I loved how passionate Chef Rulis is about connecting food, family, and history. The dishes were not only delicious, but each one told a story. As we were seated our waiter took 10 min to great us and then another 12 min to bring our drinks. I didn't think anything of it yet it was a precursor to the rest of our dinner. After he took our order our kids food came out in a very timely fashion but our two orders of salmon and one steak sandwich took 40 min to arrive at the table. What a ridiculous waste of my time because my sandwich was missing the fries ordered and our waiter thought nothing of it till I brought it up then he took another 10 min to bring my fries. All this while simultaneously forgetting the sauce for the salmon which also took another 10 min to bring out. The salmon was so dry it was tacky and stuck to your teeth. If you know the feeling you know it's bad. The rice that came underneath the salmon was crunchy and way undercooked. All while the waiter was like oh I can bring you free deserts for your wait all while I could only think about how I just wanted to leave. I was internally livid and exhausted but kept it to my self after seeing the owner or manager who we the guy with the white hair over at the bar enjoying a few alcoholic beverages meanwhile his restaurants service and waitstaff to the worst possible job they can. I saw the people who got the most attention and good service were all regulars sitting at the bar laughing it up with the manager/owner older guy. Why not make sure your restaurant is running smoothly and food is being delivered and prepared properly and stop trying to impress the regulars who most likely will show up either way. Any restaurant that is this unorganized and unmotivated is due to crappy management. All this and the waiter is like I'll comp you for the steak sandwich with a discount for the bad service and salmon which was a whopping $5. I don't want a discount I don't want free day old desserts I want good service and decent food. Discounts and free desserts will never fix the problem because it will always be a crutch for trashy customer service. How about stop drinking with the guests and whoop that staff into semi decent shape buy some high chairs and make sure your expo does a once over quality check on the food and time it takes to get to the table EVEN if that means stepping in and doing it yourself. The restaurant is dark the tables are sticky the whole place is very compact . Perfect and quite attractive after 5-6 wines for sure. I'm sure the food is outstanding after a few drinks as well . They gave us a $25 dollar gift card to return which if I could I'd give to the owner so he could experience the same horrible food and service we did. I wouldn't even give the gift card to someone I hated. This was one of the first times in a long time I didn't just let it slide because I understand all restaurants and people have bad days but this was exceptionally bad. If you are thinking it can't be that bad think again it absolutely can. The whole "I'm sorry we usually have awesome service and everyone loves our food it's probably just me and my family " is laughable . This isn't my first time here while visiting El Paso. The food is getting worse.

For starters the atmosphere was so cute. Absolutely loved the bar and hanging pots everywhere. Such a clean restaurant and cute vibe. Our waitress was very nice and friendly to us. So no issues there! For drinks I got their berry lemonade which tasted just like lemon juice. I had to request for sugar to be added since it was so sour so beware. My food had came out and to be honest I'm just a little bit disappointed. The rigatoni was cooked but the sauce for it was really not tasty? Like there was almost not a flavor I can taste. Of course there was something but it was very plain and barely even there. It also was not spicy whatsoever. I added grilled chicken too and oh boy was that dry dry DRY. The burrata personally I'm not a fan in general so of course I wouldn't be a fan this time either but they gave a nice little plate full of it. They added some oiled toasted bread and it was way too crispy in my opinion. My partner got the chicken Parmesan and his dish tasted great! Very juicy chicken and cooked all the way. The sauce was perfect too nice and flavorful and great pairing with the chicken. His butter noodles were just like regular butter noodles so not bad. Finally the crème brûlée. Probably the most disappointing dish we ordered. It took repeated stabs to break the sugar glaze on top. Me and my partner were honestly thinking that they added the cream on top to hide how burnt it was actually. Unfortunately because the glaze was so thick and burnt it made the rest of the cream taste have the burnt flavor. It was sad because my partner was looking forward to this desert. Also took wayyy longer to arrive than our entrées. I will say that the waitress was very helpful and she actually covered the crème Brulé. I didn't even ask she just offered, I think she could tell that we didn't enjoy it and I had nicely told her it wasn't what we were expecting so thank you sincerely. Overall I think this is a perfect spot to maybe try drinks and hang with friends. Food was okay, wouldn't try it again in that regard but overall a decent spot here in El Paso if you're looking for something new. Maybe best to ask what's their best dish to serve. Overall thank you.
