Oh this was delicious! I had the focaccia--absolutely amazing! I shared it and wish I hadn't, I wanted it all to myself. Caesar salad was delicious. I had the lamb chops that I devoured. So good. I tasted the chimichurri steak and ngl that was even better. To drink I had some cucumber cocktail. We were seated outside because apparently they had no room inside but inside looked empty. They had heaters that were doing nothing because I stayed cold the whole time. Idk if it's because I was desperately hungry or if the food was really good or both but I'd definitely be back.

This is my 2nd time here, first time was over 3-4 years ago. This time was slightly disappointing mainly because we paid $200 for tiny portions of entrees. The salmon was tiny, the duck plate had 4 slithers. The only bread pudding was huge, but not as good as it read on menu. The Irish Coffee was so strong and not good at all. The White Russian, Espresso Martini, and Raspberry Bourbon Smash tasted good. The service was good, the ambiance is really nice. The place was busy but plenty of servers and the food came out quick. The crab cakes had great flavor, it only comes with two. I feel like the first time I went, the portions were more reasonable, but maybe it's just the economy. ‍

During a quick trip to El Paso, I stopped by Park Tavern to meet a friend for drinks--but we got a little hungry, so I ended up ordering the chicken sandwich. I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture, but trust me, it was really good! The service was great, and the ambiance had a romantic feel--perfect for a date night or a nice dinner out. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely come back. Next time, I'll have to try one of their main dishes. Highly recommend!

Damn, that was good! This was one of the Top 30 meals of my life. Most definitely memorable. In fact, I usually eat super fast, but in this case, I ate slowly and savored each bite. The Chicken was great, the Wild Rice was wow, and I have never tasted carrots like that before in my life. Carrots have always been good not great to me, but whatever they did here, they nailed it! The service was also strong. They wouldn't hover but were always there once they saw you might need something. And the whole place is a good vibe. The prices are a little high, especially for El Paso, but you pay for what you get (or the other way around). Highly recommended!

Great food, great ambiance, good service and great wine! For appetizer we started with the tuna sashimi which was tasty but a bit on the dry side, despite all the ponzu sauce around it which made me think maybe the tuna wasn't so fresh. The two cocktails we ordered were on point! Raspberry lemon and a spicy margarita. My husband ordered the Cuban sandwich, it was hot and you could tasty the spices the pork was seasoned/roasted with, to include cinnamon. The fries that came with the sandwich were fresh and crispy and I would be 100% surprised if they don't make it from scratch at the restaurant. I ordered the Branzino, a fried whole fish on a bed of Jazmine rice and asparagus with Parmesan cheese on the side. I understand that depending on your food perspective a whole fish on your plate may look a bit scary, but it was delicious!! The white, mild and flaky fish meat was amazing!! It takes some work to separate the fish from fish bones, but worth it! Extra lemons was a must for me!! We ordered a bottle of Chablis (white wine) with our entres and it was the perfect complement to the meals. Disappointed they don't offer military discount and they may apologize all they want but come on...just do it! :)

Unexpectedly cool! Great vibe and the service was perfection. We had an assortment of the apps - as in 5 choices and they were all delish. Try the crab cakes! This gave us a great first impression of El Paso!

When I saw tavern I was expecting something rustic but what I got was elegance. Roberto was our server and he was very nice and efficient. Sat in a booth and the seats were very plush. Decor was modern with crisp lines and art work that paid homage to old El Paso. Very classy. Food was excellent. I had the chicken sandwich and it was well prepared with a really tasty light sauce. Fries were great. Perfect size for lunch. Very reasonable cost. Definitely stop here for a great experience.

We stopped at the park Tavern for a before dinner drink. Love the decor and the bartender was very friendly and inviting. Enjoyed a few custom cocktails both were delicious. I did peruse the menu while I was there and we have an interest in enjoying dinner here.

Rack of lamb with scallops- tasted great! The sides were asparagus and sauerkrauts.

The restaurant has a charming French vibe that makes it a pleasant place to sit down and enjoy a meal. I ordered a rosé, but the pour was surprisingly small. It honestly felt more like a tasting portion than a standard glass, which was a little disappointing. For food, I tried the fromage raclette. It was good, but I'm not sure it was worth the $29 price tag. I finished it because I was hungry, but it didn't really stand out or feel like something special. I don't mind paying higher prices when a dish is amazing, but San Antonio really has no business charging that much for something that's just okay. It's not California or New York, and the cost of living here isn't the same, so the value just didn't quite add up. Overall, great service and a nice atmosphere, but the value for what I ordered didn't completely match the price.

They did ask if we had a reservation - we didn't, but we lucked out. Isaac seated us and presented us to Alyssa. She got us our drinks and the kids waters. Now, I'd never say this place is kid friendly, but Alyssa was very kind to them. We ordered a couple of drinks and some appetizers to munch on before Winterfest. They make good drinks. I went with one of my faves, the cilantro and jalapenos margie, refreshing. Liz went with a guava margarita, sweet. The flatbreads were great. Not filling, and a good shareable. The kids split a a BLT. The calamari is also good. Next time I might think about the Peruvian salmon tiradito. It's a classy joint, it's on our go to list to impress folks, and it has never failed us on location, drinks or eats. It's a nice place to take that special someone. Recommend.

Walking in, there was a cool flower art installation hanging over the tables, which was a really unique touch and probably one of the more memorable parts of the space. That said, the overall vibe felt a little bland and didn't quite match the hype we were expecting. Food-wise, the experience was a bit mixed. We ordered a ribeye, but it unfortunately came out pretty cold. We let our server know and he did take it back so the kitchen could warm it up, which we appreciated. The table bread that came out was also on the dry side and not very impressive. The spicy margarita ended up being one of the better parts of the meal. It wasn't actually on the menu, but they made one for us and it was really good. We also ordered fries, which were solid, and the bone marrow (called "Mexican butter") was easily the highlight! It sauce that it came with! 10/10 It was rich, flavorful, and definitely the best thing we tried. ‼One quick heads-up for anyone visiting: there's a nail sticking out of the handrail going down the stairs to the bathroom, so just be careful grabbing the railing on the way down.‼ Overall, there were a couple good items, but the experience felt a little underwhelming compared to the expectations from the reviews. Maybe it was just an off night.

We started with a vegan pozole, inspired by the way the dish evolved over centuries. It was hearty, flavorful, and came with a fascinating history lesson. The sopes made with nixtamalized corn were rich and satisfying, with a personal touch -- tied to memories of his father making arrachera on weekends. From Chinese influences on tortillas and soy-sauced chiles, to Lebanese-Jewish inspired hummus with chipotle, and even Moorish Spain's paella -- every plate highlighted how cultures have blended to shape Borderland flavors. I loved how passionate Chef Rulis is about connecting food, family, and history. The dishes were not only delicious, but each one told a story.
