Chicken Cesar salad
Ana P.

Our server took our drink order right away. Later we order lunch, I ordered the Chicken Cesar brócoli salad and my husband ordered the Miso Salmon, the server confirmed the order and left. Later she come back to let us know she had put the order wrong and that it was going to take 5-6 more minutes for the salmon. Obviously it took longer. When we finally got the order my husband liked the salmon and for me the ratio on my salad was off not enough grilled brócoli and too much Cesar dressing. I really don't like to suggest a place to my husband because it seams like something always comes wrong. I will not suggest this place again.

First thing suggest, getting some shade for those windows. Makes it warm inside, I can only imagine in the summer. Very nice little cafe. The service was good. We had one server the another but both helped when needed. We did take their table for a long time but we tipped well to make up for it. What I ordered was the avocado Benedict toast w sauce on the side. I don't like too much. It was good. It comes w a salad which their vinaigrette was delicious. We also ordered the pomegranate mimosas. They were ok. My friends loved the espresso martini and then they ordered the carajito, it was really good. I would go back to try other things. *note their green chile sauce is very spicy.

The biggest component aside from delicious food and environment is quality service and I have to say that after today - I cannot consciously say this establishment has the quality to serve El Paso or rather keep this subpar front of house service and expect to remain open. It's worth the ownership team reassessing their work practices of their staff and having a chance to realign. We waited patiently for around 1.5-2 hours and we had yet to hear from them, what was a bit concerning though was how we received a "you've been removed from waitlist" notification and we never did so. As someone who's in tech, I understand that tech glitches happen; however, after we went over to address it they kept gaslighting and stating we were the ones who did it. I've used platforms like toast and opentable for years from Paris and Spain to Canada and Mexico, there is no possible way we did that. We didn't have a confirmation stating so and online it stated we were no longer on the waitlist. When you cancel it yourself there is different messaging. After we addressed it and went back to inquire they made it as if we were an inconvenience and that they would have to move tables around to accommodate us. We tried to find a resolution and were meet with such disdain. Tbh it was a bit hard not to feel there was a discriminatory element towards us. They stated how they would re-add us to the waitlist and do their best to move us up. Informed the wait would be another 20-30 minutes but they would make sure to rectify and take care of us. Leave it to 45 minutes later after that occurrence and it was not the case. We still haven't even received a follow up or anything. At this point I'm glad to see the type of brick and mortar Neighbor Good consciously operates under, and will now advocate for folks to instead visit Ella. Truly the only glimmer of silver lining that helped our table of six not have a true crappy experience. TL;DR- If you're reading this avoid this spot at all costs....

Total vibes from the moment you walk in. The space is modern, cozy, and just the kind of spot you want to linger in for brunch with friends. The aesthetic is so well done -- think warm lighting, clean design, and that easy, relaxed energy that makes you want to order "just one more latte." We went for brunch, and it did not disappoint. My grain bowl was fresh and flavorful, and they've got solid vegan options (which I really appreciate). I had a lavender latte that was honestly the bomb -- perfectly balanced and beautifully served. Service was great, everyone was friendly and attentive without hovering. I've heard they do live music at night now, which totally fits the vibe -- it's that kind of place that transitions seamlessly from morning chill to evening hangout. Definitely one of those spots that nails the atmosphere and the food.

We went to Neighbor Good Kitchen & Bar for my birthday breakfast celebration and it was absolutely perfect! Sad we were there way to early so we weren't able to indulge in a mimosa but none the less the juices that were available we're delicious. We had orange juice and the orange creamsicle drink and it was very good. Service was great, the atmosphere was nice! Food was very tasty We look forward to visiting again. We wish they had red chilaquiles on the menu but nonetheless everything was great!

I stumbled upon Neighbor Good Kitchen & Bar while searching for a cute Sunday brunch spot, and I'm so glad I did! I hadn't heard of it before, so I called to ask about reservations and was told the wait would be just 20 minutes such a pleasant surprise. Parking took a little circling since it is clearly a popular place, but we managed just fine. The second my husband and I walked in, we were totally impressed. A live DJ was playing, setting such a fun and upbeat vibe. The energy was amazing, and the staff were all so sweet, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. The decor? Adorable. Modern, warm, and full of charm. It's actually located where one of my favorite old breakfast spots used to be, and while the concept is completely different, the quality of the food has stayed top-notch just with a whole new personality. Everything we had was fresh and full of flavor. I ordered two martinis and they were absolutely perfect. I had ordered the Arrachera and Eggs, but was brought something else by mistake and honestly, it was so delicious I didn't even feel the need to say anything. They make several items in-house, including the sausage links. This place totally won me over. From the vibes to the service to the food and drinks, it all came together beautifully. I'm already planning my next visit to explore more of the menu.

My sister and I drinking delicious martinis.

We celebrated my birthday yesterday at this restaurant. It was our first time here and it was fabulous. Our waitress and waiter were wonderful and the food was out of this world. Drinks were delicious and spot on. Chocolate cake was phenomenal as well. Very cozy and beautiful atmosphere. We can't wait to go back again soon.

The crème brûlée French toast was delicious, and the presentation of the food on the plate was very impressive. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The ambiance was casual and comfortable but nicely done. The prices were higher than local averages, but were well worth it for the great experience. We will come again!

This was a wonderful arrachera skirt steak with a chimichurri sauce that was amazing on the garlic aioli fries.

Nick, the owner, told us he was partners in Crave and opened this restaurant about 4 weeks ago. Super nice guy and an has an amazing vision for food. They have already been booked out since they opened. Rightfully so! I travel for work and find the best of the best everywhere I travel. This one may be the best in El Paso.

Arrachera and fried, creme brûlée French toast, lemon pasta?, crispy rice bowl.

Since I was with folks who grew up in the adjacent neighborhood we all appreciated the house being repurposed with thought and they have done a nice job turning into a quaint bar with a large patio area. Decor/vibe - 5* The overall vibe of this place is great. We visited on a weekend and there was a live jazz band, who were quite good though it is definitely loud inside during that time. If you have an Apple Watch it will complain to you about the dB registering over 85 for sustained periods of time. In this instance it was about 90-100 the entire time we were there. Throughout the inside there are tabletops with seating and standing, the bar is long without overcrowding the seating which is a nice touch for those sitting at the bar vs those simply trying to order a drink at the bar. There is plenty of area to stand or sit out on the patio as well and one can still hear the live band which makes for a great ambiance. I'd recommend the patio area as the vibe out there is great. There is a bar service area outside connected to the interior bar area though it was not actively setup when we visited. Well thought and makes service streamlined without running between patrons. Food & Drink - 4* The drinks we had were good though nothing on the menu is super "craft" cocktail if that's what you're after. The wine and beer selection is decent as well. Service - 5* The bartenders are very attentive and did a great job balancing the number of people without service times being too long. Pricing - 4* Subjective but IMO nothing is over the top and the service was quick. Overall - 4.5* This is a cute and quaint cocktail bar for those who may be in a group or just taking a date after a meal nearby. I'd recommend visiting and we will all certainly be back!

Adjacent to the The Tiki Room, Pearl Divers features a rotating list of oysters from different regions at $3 a pop. We had the chance to try all three oysters that they were featuring for the day and we really enjoyed the palette. The oysters featured might've been limited but they had a major punch to them with flavor. My favorite were the ones that were a bit more briny, truly small but mighty. Your oysters are brought out with the traditional crackers, hot sauce, mignonette sauce, horseradish, and lemons. It was nice for them to all folks the chance to order in any quantity as I'm sure a few folks might be trying oysters for the very first time in a landlocked city. The had a finessed menu featuring carpaccio, tartare, and about ten to fifteen dishes encompassing appetizers to main entrees. We had ordered the carpaccio but it never came out (no biggie, again it was soft opening so we came in with an open mind). Since we got there a bit later in the day, they were out of frites and I am a loyal fan of oysters, frites, and bubbles (wine at the minimum). This just means we'll have to be back. What was most important to me though was the service and how friendly the staff was. We opted to sit at the bar (as one should at an Oyster bar) and be as close to the oyster display as possible. I used to live in New Orleans for a few years so sometimes when it's busier and you're chatting away they'll shuck an extra one to you every so often to try. I'm pretty stoked to see the dining scene continuously elevating and Pearl Divers is a nice rendition. I'll be certain to come back and can't wait to see what a five-star experience is out of their soft opening phase. *** If there is one piece of feedback I'd provide is to have smaller spoons for the mignonette and forks for the oysters. The current sizes are a bit too large and can easily ruin the integrity of the oyster when making sure it's been properly separated and not intact, as well as, not being able to have the right ratio of mignonette sauce for each oyster. The spoon was constantly hitting the mouth of the condiment cup.

So I, of course, feeling the need always to explore new cocktail bars or restaurants in my hometown when visiting home, was pretty excited for the opportunity to check out Hush Hush. As a true millennial Gemini, I celebrate my birthday for the whole month, so I quickly texted my family and friends; this is where I wanted to go. What I love about Hush Hush is how it's encouraging and pushing folks to step out of their comfort zone in their attire and dress more to the vibes of this cocktail house (Think Soho, ABA, Casablanca, and Elephante). You're bound to see more desert tones, muted colors, flowy pants, basically anything resort wear. It's cool to see this cocktail house make you feel like you're not in El Paso. The music is different, more loungey, to where you can hear everyone at your table. Of course, there's still a DJ, but damn, Hush Hush is intentionally geared for those who love to go out but need top-shelf cocktails without the eye rolls or the bartenders staring at us with blank eyes. Hush Hush is a true game changer. The lines might get crazy, but I suggest getting there early so you can snag your photos and a solid table/spot. There are three main bar areas, but my fave was the velvet room. I suggest catching a drink on the second floor if you get there early enough to get an eagle eye's view of the establishment. Attention to detail was on point, and I appreciated the homework and research done before the opening of this spot. It's an elevated experience for the city and one I wish every city in the States had tbh.
