First time trying Benny Franks and we really enjoyed it! The space has this great indoor/outdoor feel. it's open, so you get tons of fresh air. The person helping us apologized for the wind, but honestly, it felt cool and refreshing, especially for El Paso weather. We tried the al pastor tacos and the hot dog, and both were really great. The al pastor was super tender, and the pickled veggies on the hot dog were such a perfect touch. We also ordered two drinks, a mule and an old fashioned, and both were made really well. Also impressed by the price. it's not as expensive as a lot of other places we go to, and the quality was top-notch. 10/10 recommend and can't wait to go back! read more

We stopped by because we saw the giant projector screens and we are so glad we did! They had the cowboys-49ers game today (Sunday) and it was great watching it on a giant screen! Our waitress was amazing, very attentive, very kind and humble! We had the Pork Belly Ramen, apparently they have a new chef that is on The Cooking Channel and it shows, the food was delicious! My husband and I have visited here for dinner and cocktails/craft beer twice, and we were both blown away by how good the food and drinks are! The service is also nothing less than amazing, we had the same sweet server twice. She is super thoughtful, extremely attentive, and even helped me decide on a drink. She suggested the moonchild cocktail which has such a yummy creamy vanilla flavor. I also have had their chicken ramen & tacos el pastor & both are to die for. My husband and I also love the ambiance as we have never seen it super crowded, even on a Friday /Saturday night so it's a good dinner date spot! We were skeptical about trying this play because we had two young kids with us. It definitely is not designed for kids. Saying that, the staff went out of their way to make sure our family was taken care of. There isn't much seating downstairs, inside so we sat outside. There are plenty of fans and four tvs so we were comfortable heat wise. The tables are high tops outside, so be aware. That factor made it interesting with the two Littles. We'd love to have tried the drink selection but we had to drive. Like I said, the staff was fantastic. They all checked on us constantly and our food was quick to come out. We ordered nachos, tots, 2 hot dogs for the kids, my husband a hamburger, two lemonade, a coke, and a diet coke. Our bill came out to a little more than $60 with tax and tip. A little more than i like to spend on a meal for 4, which is the only reason I gave 4 stars. I probably need to just make that the new standard, with the cost of living increasing. I personally only tried the steak nachos but they were soo good! The steak was perfectly cooked and a big portion. I was pleasantly surprised on the food quality for it being a bar. Went to have a few drinks with my girlfriend and enjoyed the open air patio. The top level is not opened til after 6pm. The drinks are and si are their tapas. We had the sausage which was delicious. The fried green beans with mustatd aoli sauce. And some seasoned fries. The service was sub par. I would definetly return. Very affordable. read more

Welp welp welp...talk about disappointment. We arrived at around 7:30pm. Open tables and no wait, great! Our server was attentive but rushed, unsure why. We were a party of 4, while she took then order for two of us she walked away before the other two could order. Odd, a bit confused as to why she wouldn't take all of our orders. Therefore there we were 2 people w food and 2 without. We had to ask for napikns and flatware after our food arrived (?!?). We ordered steak tacos and the menu says it comes with avocado (they still charged $2 for it and I was in no mood to argue). The tacos were horrible, the meat was overcooked to the point my jaw hurt from chewing it, the tortillas were semi heated and didn't help the tacos, I ended up eating the meat only of 2 and left the third. The menu description said avocado and red onions, we got white onions and unripe avocado on the side. $9 for 3 tacos, they're a hard pass for me, never again. We also ordered nachos and those looked good but I didn't try them. I will give them 2 stars for their amazing red beer setup which runs $3.50 and an ultra for $4.50 so $8 red beer. They have an upstairs bar area but it was too packed and we never got a chance. It looked cool though. I do appreciate the heaters and downstairs plastic type coverings to help with the chilly weather. This place is definitely not somewhere to eat, not sober anyway (I said what I said), I'd be reluctant to try any food here again unfortunately. In town for work things staying near the airport when this was suggested as the evening meet up spot. Was pretty skeptical driving out during rush hour (I mean just about everyone drives about ten below the speed limit regularly here so not much difference during rush hour I suppose but it still felt like a long trip...) There are two levels - first is a restaurant with a bar but kiddos welcome. Second level is the bar-bar with an outer patio. I was pretty impressed with the second level's selection. Not everyone has Basil Hayden let alone the Dark Rye. Although I don't drink it, the selection of Japanese whiskey was large with at least seven different gins. Just like everyone else I know, I'm doing Keto. A lot of the menu can be altered to fit that way of eating. I had the double cut pork chop and Brussels sprouts. It was a ton of food and I killed it all. The sprouts especially were seasoned just right. 10/10 would do again even if it meant driving 45 in a 60 zone the whole way to get there. read more

First, we ordered diet coke & it tasted sour and fruity...not what it should taste like. When I ordered food, they came back three different times because they didn't have something that was apart of my order. First it was no green peppers for peppers & eggs so I ordered a chorizo & egg burrito. Then they didn't have chorizo. Everything came out and tasted better than it looked. However, the burrito was supposed to come with pico de gallo & guacamole overtop, but it was completely plain. I went there this past Thursday. All I wanted was to order 2 lonestars. There wasn't a big crowd, and the server hadn't got to me (we were seated and were there for a good while). At this point I went straight to the bar and ordered from a manager or something. This place was a great place to hangout and I really liked the vibe there. The decor was nice and bartenders seemed to be friendly from the two visits I had there. I also liked how other employees/managers would check on us considering we were not their "table". Beer selection was alright. The food was not good at all. Considering the price you paid for some items my friends and I expected it to taste better. At the very least have a bigger portion size. Gumbo meh. If I'm not mistaken grits and shrimp was $15 dollars for this bland dish that came in the portion size of a small Styrofoam bowl. Only food items that were decent and solid and above were there sandwiches. Tasty and pretty decent portions. Will definitely get those again. While the food was adequate, it came out individually and our take received our food over a period of 45 minutes for everyone to receive the food. Took a long time for 1st person to get her meal. Food was served on minuscule plates and hard to cut it without it spilling onto the plate. I was looking forward to this restaurant but I won't be returning.
