    Moonchild cocktail drink
    Kendall A.

My husband and I have visited here for dinner and cocktails/craft beer twice, and we were both blown away by how good the food and drinks are! The service is also nothing less than amazing, we had the same sweet server twice. She is super thoughtful, extremely attentive, and even helped me decide on a drink. She suggested the moonchild cocktail which has such a yummy creamy vanilla flavor. I also have had their chicken ramen & tacos el pastor & both are to die for. My husband and I also love the ambiance as we have never seen it super crowded, even on a Friday /Saturday night so it's a good dinner date spot! If you're hesitant at all from the other reviews written about this place, don't be!! Do yourself a favor and go get some amazing food and drinks!

Benny's was a really fun little experience with drinks, little party games, and an all around fun atmosphere. I will want to return here with a big group as I can see it being a lot of fun with a large group. The totchos we got were mostly just okay. Kind of your run of the mill bar food but may be a little bit more edge. Next time I plan to check out the upstairs segment to see what that is about as well!

We were skeptical about trying this play because we had two young kids with us. It definitely is not designed for kids. Saying that, the staff went out of their way to make sure our family was taken care of. There isn't much seating downstairs, inside so we sat outside. There are plenty of fans and four tvs so we were comfortable heat wise. The tables are high tops outside, so be aware. That factor made it interesting with the two Littles. We'd love to have tried the drink selection but we had to drive. Like I said, the staff was fantastic. They all checked on us constantly and our food was quick to come out. We ordered nachos, tots, 2 hot dogs for the kids, my husband a hamburger, two lemonade, a coke, and a diet coke. Our bill came out to a little more than $60 with tax and tip. A little more than i like to spend on a meal for 4, which is the only reason I gave 4 stars. I probably need to just make that the new standard, with the cost of living increasing. I personally only tried the steak nachos but they were soo good! The steak was perfectly cooked and a big portion. I was pleasantly surprised on the food quality for it being a bar. We might go back someday but we'll leave the kids with a sitter!

I was a little disappointed they didn't have the old drink menu, new one is a little kitsch at best but the quality of the drinks is still pretty good, I've enjoyed everything I've ordered. The service was great, ambience is nice, I've had fried pickles and the sausage and all tasted delicious.

Went to have a few drinks with my girlfriend and enjoyed the open air patio. The top level is not opened til after 6pm. The drinks are and si are their tapas. We had the sausage which was delicious. The fried green beans with mustatd aoli sauce. And some seasoned fries. The service was sub par. I would definetly return. Very affordable.

Nice curb appeal! Featuring big screen TVs and friendly faces!

This is a little hidden gem!! We lucked up and will come back! We travel to El Paso at least once a month for training and are always up for different eateries. From the drinks, to the fried green beans, can't wait to see what unique dish we will try next!

I got a root beer, a small combo with brisket and of course some honey glazed spare ribs, green beans and corn on the cob. Though I haven been here In several months I could have swore it used to be a whole ear of corn in the past, not a cobette. I also wanted an appetizer to start of some of their fried mushrooms with gravy instead of ranch. My drink came right away, it was ice cold and the Root Beer right on point. Then I waited. And waited. And waited. Wondering after about 10 minutes now or so where my mushrooms were.... Waited a little more ... and out came my entree. With apologies, some mix up in the kitchen and mushrooms ??? So I said to cancel them, because I wanted them as an appetizer, to eat beforehand. So now that my food had arrived, I no longer needed them. So my waiter said he would. So I'm buttering my corn. Salt and peppering it, trying my green beans (so good, but needed some salt and pepper too), opening this tiny maybe 2oz thimble full of bbq sauce for all that meat on my plate, taking a bite out of my first spare rib and another gentleman shows up with a basket of mushrooms and ranch. Apologizing that mine actually got sent to another table so they had to make mine again. I chew the rib chunk in my mouth and tell him that I had cancelled them already because they were to be an appetizer. And I already had my food. He again apologized and asked could he just give them to me, after all they were already made, I told him i didn't want him to have to do that but he insisted. So I agreed. I didn't know how many I might eat now, I was already out of the notion. But it was nice of him to comp them and leave them. So my food. Ribs were amazing. As always. My brisket was either the first cut or last cut on the board. It was more like burnt ends. I had no nice slices of brisket. Everything was black tough char. Some small outer slices, some outer chunks. All crusted and black. I just kept telling myself, this must be what burnt ends are like! And used sauce to try and moisten it... but on most of it, that was impossible. It was hard, tough, hard to chew. Very flavorful for what it was and I have pretty good teeth. But I got no nice softer moist slices. I didn't complain, I just soldiered on and ate it all. My ribs were so good, this day I wish I'd just gotten them. The corn was very nice and kernels popped when you bit into them but they were cold? The cobette would not melt butter. I've never had that issue before. The mushrooms were piping hot so I could tell they were fresh made. But I only ate about 5. I was all about my plate by the time it came. So this wasn't 5 star visit this time. I will be back, they still have my favorite bbq sauce in town, it tastes like Central Texas Bbq Sauce. So the brisket and corn missed the mark this visit, normally they are both on point. And the Gentleman in the Red shirt went out of his way to correct a kitchen or other waitpersons mistake on my appetizer in a friendly quick manner and I greatly appreciate that. And I'll tell others. I think I'd say, don't serve customers all black first cuts or last cuts on brisket unless they ask for that, most of us are looking for some nice lean to moist tender slices when it comes to brisket, thank you.!

It became a special treat for our family while visiting our Tía in home hospice--and one of her last, most joyful bites. Food and our family's recipes are at the heart of who we are, so hearing my Tía Emma call it "magnificent" meant everything. While, we didn't dine in, we noted the atmosphere struck the right balance of upscale bar and grill on our two visits. Please note, this place get packed on weekend nights. As we were seated our waiter took 10 min to great us and then another 12 min to bring our drinks. I didn't think anything of it yet it was a precursor to the rest of our dinner. After he took our order our kids food came out in a very timely fashion but our two orders of salmon and one steak sandwich took 40 min to arrive at the table. What a ridiculous waste of my time because my sandwich was missing the fries ordered and our waiter thought nothing of it till I brought it up then he took another 10 min to bring my fries. All this while simultaneously forgetting the sauce for the salmon which also took another 10 min to bring out. The salmon was so dry it was tacky and stuck to your teeth. If you know the feeling you know it's bad. The rice that came underneath the salmon was crunchy and way undercooked. All while the waiter was like oh I can bring you free deserts for your wait all while I could only think about how I just wanted to leave. I was internally livid and exhausted but kept it to my self after seeing the owner or manager who we the guy with the white hair over at the bar enjoying a few alcoholic beverages meanwhile his restaurants service and waitstaff to the worst possible job they can. I saw the people who got the most attention and good service were all regulars sitting at the bar laughing it up with the manager/owner older guy. Why not make sure your restaurant is running smoothly and food is being delivered and prepared properly and stop trying to impress the regulars who most likely will show up either way. Any restaurant that is this unorganized and unmotivated is due to crappy management. All this and the waiter is like I'll comp you for the steak sandwich with a discount for the bad service and salmon which was a whopping $5. I don't want a discount I don't want free day old desserts I want good service and decent food. Discounts and free desserts will never fix the problem because it will always be a crutch for trashy customer service. How about stop drinking with the guests and whoop that staff into semi decent shape buy some high chairs and make sure your expo does a once over quality check on the food and time it takes to get to the table EVEN if that means stepping in and doing it yourself. The restaurant is dark the tables are sticky the whole place is very compact . Perfect and quite attractive after 5-6 wines for sure. I'm sure the food is outstanding after a few drinks as well . They gave us a $25 dollar gift card to return which if I could I'd give to the owner so he could experience the same horrible food and service we did. I wouldn't even give the gift card to someone I hated. This was one of the first times in a long time I didn't just let it slide because I understand all restaurants and people have bad days but this was exceptionally bad. If you are thinking it can't be that bad think again it absolutely can. The whole "I'm sorry we usually have awesome service and everyone loves our food it's probably just me and my family " is laughable . This isn't my first time here while visiting El Paso. The food is getting worse.
