all I have to say is that the service was phenomenal. Food was delicious. I ordered the Wagyu burger. It was so tender and so juicy for flavors along with the sauce poured along in it! The piña colada I ordered was just on point, and had more than one. Also had the ceviche because it's my favorite seafood dish from now on in the whole city.

We visited El Camino on a Wednesday evening around 5:30pm. We made a reservation, but they weren't super busy so you could probably walk in as well. It did fill up a bit while we were there, so doesn't hurt to make one just to be sure. For drinks, I have the Paloma and the EC Margarita. Both were very classic and well done, and beautifully yet simplistically served. We ordered the aguachile as an appetizer and it was delicious. Just spicy enough with the habanero oil, but also refreshing and crisp with the onions and cucumbers on top. I had the lobster roll and fries for dinner. Again, very delicious! It was flavorful without being drenched in butter like a classic lobster roll may be (which is also delicious, don't get me wrong). Service was very friendly and attentive from start to finish. Would definitely recommend, especially for date night.

Good place to have appetizers, ambiance is cool. Missing some elements with the food such as sides on main dish. The main dish is very small compared to other places around the downtown area. Loved what downtown area has become!

The food and service were amazing. Small spot so I would recommend making a reservation.

Both of our husbands don't like seafood, so we made it a girls' night out and were excited to try this new spot in the Cincinnati District

So I, of course, feeling the need always to explore new cocktail bars or restaurants in my hometown when visiting home, was pretty excited for the opportunity to check out Hush Hush. As a true millennial Gemini, I celebrate my birthday for the whole month, so I quickly texted my family and friends; this is where I wanted to go. What I love about Hush Hush is how it's encouraging and pushing folks to step out of their comfort zone in their attire and dress more to the vibes of this cocktail house (Think Soho, ABA, Casablanca, and Elephante). You're bound to see more desert tones, muted colors, flowy pants, basically anything resort wear. It's cool to see this cocktail house make you feel like you're not in El Paso. The music is different, more loungey, to where you can hear everyone at your table. Of course, there's still a DJ, but damn, Hush Hush is intentionally geared for those who love to go out but need top-shelf cocktails without the eye rolls or the bartenders staring at us with blank eyes. Hush Hush is a true game changer. The lines might get crazy, but I suggest getting there early so you can snag your photos and a solid table/spot. There are three main bar areas, but my fave was the velvet room. I suggest catching a drink on the second floor if you get there early enough to get an eagle eye's view of the establishment. Attention to detail was on point, and I appreciated the homework and research done before the opening of this spot. It's an elevated experience for the city and one I wish every city in the States had tbh.

That's the whole point of the establishment's existence. (No one else seemed to care about anything but hard seltzers and shots). The bartender said they could still make things from the previous menu, but they didn't have that available, either. She recommended two Jameson-based options, but could think of nothing else. So, I got a beer. I asked for any stouts or porters aside from Guinness, but there weren't any. I asked about one beer she said was "dark", but it was a Pilsner. I like pilsners, so I ordered it...but for the record, they are nothing close to a dark beer. I saw they had Crown Apple after I had started my beer and asked a different bartender if they had Coke Zero. I was told that when he wants a soda he goes to the bar next door. After an alarming number of exchanges, I learned that they DO have Coke, just not any diet varieties. Instead, I later chose a margarita. Yes, it's cute they serve it in a tea cup, but consider that tea cups are very small and there is ice, so it was almost a non-alcoholic beverage. DJ was cool, but, "all night disco" was really some mashup of a few disco/funk songs with some 90s hip hop and a good deal of 80s pop mixed in. Now, it was crazy FUN, but not what I was expecting. Definitely won't be back. I know there is the charm of drinking at grandma's, but it's really just a lousy hipster dive bar with thrift store art on the walls. The second star is just for having a fun dj (brought in a fun crowd).
