A friend suggested we try The Garrison while "bar hopping" downtown. What a jackpot! The interior is beautiful and the bar is fully stocked. All four of us loved our drinks and we really appreciated the bar tenders advice. I will definitely return on future trips to El Paso.

My husband and I went to the Garrison after seeing an ad for Afrobeats Night. We were curious to try it out. The atmosphere was very chill. The lounge is decorated elegantly while maintaining its own identity. It wasn't as packed as it could've been but there was a good number of people still coming in at 11:30 pm when we left. I enjoyed that it wasn't too packed for the night, as it allowed us to enjoy the seating area. My husband ordered the Dark Horse cocktail with shrimp tacos, while I ordered a London Martini with truffle fries. The shrimp tacos were good, however, a little too salty. They were well-seasoned. Unfortunately, I had to wait 20mins for my truffle fries. The fries themselves were mostly still raw. However, our waitress did get the fries charge taken off. The service was good for how busy it was.

This place is by far my favorite bar! It serves non-alcoholic drinks which are perfect for me. I get to enjoy some drinks alongside my friends. I can see they have tons of options and the presentation looks good. The service was friendly and the ambiance is so relaxing. Great to have a pleasant conversation with some amazing company. The seats are comfortable and well put on. The mural is artistic. I can say I will be going again and again. Provecho!

We went to The Garrison on their opening night around 7:30pm. It wasn't too busy yet and there were still a couple spots to sit and grab a drink, but it definitely got busier within the hour. The cocktail lounge is beautiful! Big comfy velvet chairs, gorgeous chandeliers, and a beautiful floral art piece on one of the walls. I ordered the Lychee Martini and the Butterfly Magic G&T. Both drinks were delicious and I'd definitely get the Butterly Magic G&T again. My partner got The Garrison, which is a smoked drink that they prepare and then open in front of you. It was just as delicious! For opening night, they provided complimentary snacks which I found to be a really thoughtful and yummy gesture. We did have to wait a long time for our drinks, but I think they absolutely have the potential to be a five star place once they get everything working smoothly.

The Garrison is such a delightful cocktail lounge. We went for the Grand Opening and it was a very chill vibe, with soothing live music, comfortable velvet seating and beautiful chandeliers. The drinks are not only delicious but also stunning, I had a drink that was purple with sparkles in it. They serve a drink called 'The Garrison' that comes in a smoked chest box. The Garrison is in a prime location downtown. We will definitely be going back!

    Bartenders.

This was my first time at the The Garrison and I was not disappointed. It was afronight so the music was amazing, playing artists such as Tems and Davido. At the bar I ordered an old fashioned which the bartender made to perfection. The staff was friendly and welcoming from all of the bartenders to the dj. The design is chic and the ambience is relaxing. I will definitely be returning. Thank you for a good night!

If I remember correctly, I entered El Paso on a Monday or a Tuesday, and The Reagan was super quiet. I was informed (by more than one party) that it's packed on the weekends. That makes sense. This place has a speakeasy vibe but with an almost classy sensual undertone. It's definitely unique. I had an Old Fashioned after a long drive from San Antonio. I thought I was celebrating after a poker room in SA just made a verbal agreement with me for good money after a three-hour conversation with the owner. However, he was apparently upset I posted a video from another club in SA that was 40-minutes away and only runs one game. He was also afraid to tell me this and a coward. Solution would have been: "Can you please take that video down?" Whatever, dude. Part of reason that business won't last. A business should be run with honesty, respect, and transparency. Anyway ... at The Reagan, a biker dude came in and he was a singer in Germany because he met his German wife in the US when she was watching one of his shows and introduced herself. He was about to go back to Germany but heard good things about The Reagan so drove an hour on his bike to see it the day before he left. And he was impressed. We talked for about an hour about many things. If you visit El Paso, The Regan is a must! It's like being in a movie. Which movie? Maybe a mix between a 007 movie and Boogie Nights.

Adjacent to the The Tiki Room, Pearl Divers features a rotating list of oysters from different regions at $3 a pop. We had the chance to try all three oysters that they were featuring for the day and we really enjoyed the palette. The oysters featured might've been limited but they had a major punch to them with flavor. My favorite were the ones that were a bit more briny, truly small but mighty. Your oysters are brought out with the traditional crackers, hot sauce, mignonette sauce, horseradish, and lemons. It was nice for them to all folks the chance to order in any quantity as I'm sure a few folks might be trying oysters for the very first time in a landlocked city. The had a finessed menu featuring carpaccio, tartare, and about ten to fifteen dishes encompassing appetizers to main entrees. We had ordered the carpaccio but it never came out (no biggie, again it was soft opening so we came in with an open mind). Since we got there a bit later in the day, they were out of frites and I am a loyal fan of oysters, frites, and bubbles (wine at the minimum). This just means we'll have to be back. What was most important to me though was the service and how friendly the staff was. We opted to sit at the bar (as one should at an Oyster bar) and be as close to the oyster display as possible. I used to live in New Orleans for a few years so sometimes when it's busier and you're chatting away they'll shuck an extra one to you every so often to try. I'm pretty stoked to see the dining scene continuously elevating and Pearl Divers is a nice rendition. I'll be certain to come back and can't wait to see what a five-star experience is out of their soft opening phase. *** If there is one piece of feedback I'd provide is to have smaller spoons for the mignonette and forks for the oysters. The current sizes are a bit too large and can easily ruin the integrity of the oyster when making sure it's been properly separated and not intact, as well as, not being able to have the right ratio of mignonette sauce for each oyster. The spoon was constantly hitting the mouth of the condiment cup.

I was actually impressed with the quality . Only two come per order but pretty filling. I don't even like potatoes or fries but however the chef seasoned them and prepared the green sauce on the bottom was perfection! The service was amazing especially from Eddie the bar manager - he was engaging and knowledgeable of mixology. Truly put love into all of our drinks. Highly recommend. It's an upscale spot that's a must try!!
