This cafe is in a historical part of Socorro, it's really a cool and interesting location. The inside is extremely nice and clean. Waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. Parking is on the side of the cafe and we didn't know which area to walk through and I believe we went the long way. We walked into the courtyard area and it's so beautiful! It's a 300 year old building with cactus and seating outdoors. Inside is a Spanish styled cafe. We came just to grab coffee and the employee was so sweet and helpful as my mom and I had questions about the coffee. I ordered the coconut coffee and my mom ordered cold brew with vanilla. Both were delicious! I would definitely come back if I was ever in the area again. read more

Also ordered the chris croissant, my father had a croissant sandwich with the soup, pesto chicken pita. My parents were very happy with their meals. It has a mexican vibe, but it is not a mexican restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious. My parents did not know what type of soup it was but they loved it. Now the service was very slow, but i cant bring myself to take off a star because they were really nice, it was busy, and the food was great. It had such a unique fun ambiance. Solid coffee shop with lots of food options. The abuelita chocolate latte was on point! I got it iced and it was very tasty and it took me down memory lane to when my mom would make abuelitas chocolate. The red chilaquiles had a good kick and were really good with the beef added. The blt croissant sandwich was super buttery. The potatoes were cooked to perfection. The servers were nice and attentive but if you are in a hurry, not the place to go. To first start, the most recent "negative" comment was and is uncalled for. This.. Said name Person.. who made the recent "subjective" comment, I viewed their behavior and their communication skills to the female server, it was completely unprofessional and impolite and rude as a human being. The server was making full communication skills and assessing the situation.. not just to that table but to myself and everyone around. I overheard what was on and about the "eggs" and "fruits". To mention to all, I did see in the same table had others and they were served first because the two, "informants" lol.. were being rude and just rushing the female server and made it waaay harder to be patient with their table. As a customer that was there, and also to announce the reality and justice of their review, I'm announcing the truth. So the environment, the food and the staff are PHENOMENAL! Very precise, very respectful, very mindful with their customers and it irks me to hear disrespectful clients being ungrateful and being "bad adults" to people who are doing their job as best as they can. I send my apologies and appreciate to that female waitress with the dark hair with purple & the cooks and staff. Beautiful place. Great coffee, terrible communication between the kitchen and the wait staff. We got there when it opened, ordered, also explained to our server "oh I am allergic to egg whites {yes it's a real allergy}". Server responds with let me go ask the chef to see if you can get just the egg yolk for the avocado toast. Comes back and says "he can do it " ok cool.. my mom asked about the fruit salad (allergic to pineapples). Server says yes fruit salad has pineapples , she picks potatoes. Then after we see everyone getting their food, it's like okay it's been like almost an hour , we ask the server , she goes in the kitchen they closed the door. She comes back and says it's taking longer because of the allergies . I said "it's egg".. then she goes back, the other server comes over and tells us that "the kitchen did not tell us the bread was frozen", I just looked at her and was like nope.. it's okay, we will just go. Frozen bread? And we were the first ones in?! As a person who comes from the fire, that's apart of prep, because it's on your menu. Not an excuse to be given to customers because you lack forethought. Thank you to the second server for trying to correct the issue by comping the coffee, tea and elote. Kudos. read more

Great food and beverages, same the service just that the tables for two are very tiny if you want dine in you can't if you're only two persons. They won't allow you to get bigger table with more space for your food since they're only for parties of 3 and up. Great for just a drink but very inconvenient and uncomfortable to eat. read more

I found this spot on google, called to ask about my dog and they said i could sit inside as long as he was well behaved or outside as well. We showed up and the place is GORGEOUS! We sat inside, ordered seasonal drinks, and then got great food recommendations. Our server was Alyssa and she was outstanding. The food was absolutely delicious and we are definitely coming back. The front was hard to find as it is unmarked. (Furthest left door in the far building when you walk in). Parking is located across the street. The menu is small but has a great variety if you're here for a vegetarian meal. The Chickpea Salad Sandwich was a solid 5 Star meal. I had people in my table that usually snub vegetarian meals raving about it. I highly recommend it. The drinks were adorable in their traditionally Mexican mugs and quite tasty. Food was delicious and flavorful. The side salad was fresh and well assembled. We tried a side of French toast which was very good and had the newly added wrap. The wrap was good but being that the cafe is located in an historic location, i would have preferred perhaps a freshly made flour tortilla. Wraps are just kind of out of the element of the place that offers pan dulce on weekends. The coffee was delicious - we tried the abuelita coffee and the French press. The cafe is located in the historic Apodaca hacienda - i happen to be a descendent of the original apodaca owners so Im a bit biased - but the ambiance is incredible. Such a great example of original southwestern pueblo architecture, complete with corbels, original vigas and Latillas, portales, and fire place. The service was a little slow at times but the whole staff was nice and attentive. Highly recommend. read more

It's low key Mexican Spanish inspired with hints of floral and contemporary. Loved it! To be honest, I was expecting decent coffee and cold, unimpressive food. I was wrong. Coffee was good and the food was a nice, fresh, savory surprise. I look forward to the menu expanding. Perhaps Cafe de Olla and some Mexican pastries? Drove across town to try it out and it was WELL WORTH IT! My new favorite coffee shop! The Mazapan latte might be the best coffee drink I've ever had from any coffee shop. I'm normally an iced coffee girlie, but this one I have to order hot! Last time I was here I ordered the jam jam croissant, and so far that has been my favorite thing on the menu after trying a few different options. Socorro has its first chic coffeehouse but with a warm, mission feel. The Abuelita latte is a must if you grew up with the Mexican hot chocolate. Soups are seasonal which means they're worth trying. They also offer quiche, croissants and hummus. Favorite croissant is Waldorf chicken salad with the soup of the day. Great place if you're in the area and a place to take friends if you live in Socorro. read more
