It's a FAIL. Management needs to step up or all staff needs to be replaced. - the dishes are good and well priced - it's the shortness in baked goods and latte flavors - I ordered a Mocha Chocolatte. Sad, no flavor, no mocha....it tasted like a hot chocolate. - Regular Coffee at around 10a was stale no flavor. - the complementary bread at least 2 day old. I've been here twice, about 2 years ago and this time. Same both, I was told they had just opened and they were adjusting. They just need a new staff. Skip this place and go to the one on Gateway. That place ROCKS. Staff and management much nicer. read more

The food and service were great here. When we stopped by, it was really busy but the line moved fast. I ordered a sandwich with a chai and it was delicious. The employee who brought us our food was friendly. read more

There was a long line when we arrived on Sunday for breakfast and it moved quickly once the second register opened up. We were a party of 5 and we all ordered different meals. I had a Chicken Parisien sandwich with a bowl of potato soup. Both the sandwich and soup were delicious. The soup came out piping hot and it had a lot of flavor. Also ordered a fruit tart and MMMMM it was yummy. Service was great and the worker that dropped off our food was friendly. The inside was clean and spacious. read more

First time I've visited but I've been wanting to for so long! I thought it was a French restaurant and the food would be good and reasonably priced. Went the Joe Battle location and it is a cafeteria - you have to order your own food. I expected good onion soup in a big bowl for $7, but after two returns, the soup was thin, no onions, and without a piece of bread sufficient to cover the top, and with some grated Swiss stick to the bottom of the tiny bowl. There are no plant based creamers, no stevia, and no ambiance. Very sad. I am a business owner and would love to help them improve their abysmal overall ratings across their restaurants. read more

They give you large portions and the pricing is affordable!! Would recommend. Though, one thing to know is that you order at the front and then take your seat. read more

Yall need to try this place. The food is soooo amazing.. everything I ordered exceeded my expectations... their service was fast and prompt, my order was delivered in a timely manner not sure what it looked like in the actual place but for what I heard is really nice.. I made online orders and everything was and went amazingly. read more

We never got our food, got there at 10:40 and sat down at 10:50 decided to leave at 11:40 after watching multiple bigger groups after us finish their plates and leave . The manager was apologetic but it doesn't help waiting almost an hour for two scramble eggs with french toast. We could have reviewed the food but never received it. read more

Our go to place in El Paso because they allow my 6lb dog to sit with me. Their food selection is generous. Will definitely return.

Service was fast and food was good.Restaurant was clean and so were the restrooms. There was a nice warm fireplace to enjoy

Went out for lunch with gal pals. La Madeline is just perfect for lunch because it is quick. Easy. Delicious. The half sandwich and cup of soup is just enough to fill you up so you are not waddling around the rest of the afternoon looking to take a nap! Great lunch spot if you want to sit and talk to catch up. read more

3.5. Weird little chain. Pain Quotidien meets Cracker Barrel meets Starbucks. Order at the counter but they bring the food to you. Dining room is thoughtfully and well decorated and pulls off the french farmhouse thing passably well. A bit loud; all hard surfaces. The location is an absolute side of the highway, strip mall zero. That said: the food. Really good. Really fast. Tasty as hell. A real French cafe au lait even though we call it a cafe latte. Its good, although I'm not sure I enjoy it. Is it possible for a restaurant to do all the things and still not be a favorite? read more

Hadn't been and decided to try. I ordered the chicken Parisien sandwich with a cesar salad as a side. It was yummy. My friend ordered the chicken Friand. That was pretty good too. I liked their coffee too. My other friend ordered something else but she didn't share so can't comment on it. No dessert on this day but will return and enjoy some coffee and a pastry. The reason for the missed star is because I felt their menu lacked variety. Other than that the sevice was quick and the restaurant clean. read more

Now, I've reviewed this restaurant before, the one in the Fountains. I still remember the first time I tasted this extravagant French cuisine and was blown away by the atmosphere, the recipes and the unwavering cordial service. You can imagine my ecstatic-ness at the thought of the east side getting their very one La Madeleine. And I SO couldn't wait to be the first patron to put them on the map. I'm afraid they'll be getting a lot more of my business being so close to my house. R.I.P. wallet. Located a mere walking distance from the Holiday Inn, not to mention various other popular restaurants, La Madeleine couldn't have chosen a better hotspot. Unsurprisingly, they're packed to the gills on weekends with a line longer than the Nile river. That's not to say they can't handle the popular demand, however. And if you've never been to one before, you really need to check this place out. The thing that separates this location from the one in the Fountains is the fact that they have their own building, for the most part. A stand alone unit is exactly what this place needed to facilitate more dedicated parking and more adequately accommodating outdoor seating (if you don't mind sweating your culo off in the middle of summer). Plus, you can't beat those $5 mimosas! Though I've never ordered any yet, I definitely intend to in the near future. And I don't even need to beat a dead horse by telling you how amazing their food is. Let's just say the recipes remain pretty consistent no matter which location you go to. Once again, La Madeleine gets 5 sparkling mimosas for 5 bucks out of 5. read more

Came here with my coworkers for a quick lunch. It was not very busy around 12pm. I was expecting there to be a line, but there hardly was. We placed our order and water and went to our table. One thing I have to say..geez, those are small water cups. Probably no more than 2 gulps when you're really thirsty and you'd have to go get more. I get they don't want to waste real glasses on the handful of people who do not have tea, or soda, but it's kind of meh having to navigate tables to get more water. Also, the plastic....such a waste. The food was good, as expected, based on previous experiences at other locations. This location os much larger than the one on Mesa or Gateway, you can tell it is new. The pastry looked delicious. Might come back just for some cake and croissants. read more

I ordered 5 salads to go. Chicken Caesar Salade (3) Cranberry & Pecan Wild Field w/ Chicken (2). The caesars salad were full and looked great. The cranberry salad looked like they were leftover salad that were thrown together. They both had chicken scraps and a few sprinkles of cranberry n walnut. It was a kids portion it was pitiful. I'm very upset that we got this. I have pictures to prove it. read more

We were on a mission for a delicious pastry and by the time we arrived I was a HANGRY Mommy. We decided to have dinner before indulging in our tarts and ginger bread creme brûlée. The kids got the pizza and ham & cheese on a croissant, and I got the glazed salmon with baguette, mashed potatoes, broccoli & side Caesar salad. Everything was brought out quick, hot and absolutely DELICIOUS!! We were very satisfied with the ambiance, and the portion sizes were perfect. It was a lovely dinner. We got a chocolate tart, lemon tart and gingerbread creme brûlée to go. They were incredibly indulgent, very flavorful and visually a delight. read more

What can I say about this place?? It is the closest thing to European cuisine that we will get here in the States! (yes, I have lived in Europe) I want to take this time to give "Kudos!" to this franchise, especially the one on Joe Battle, because I was one of the clients during Mother's Day. The staff, during this "Covid-19," pandemic was immaculate! Very patient, very helpful, very approachable, and very quick to help the stress of urgency that us procrastinators and lazies had... We had brunch and was really impressed with the Quiche Lorraine. I ordered mine with a side of the Potato Gillette. The eggs were perfectly whisked as would be appropriate for French cooking. What a wonderful cafe. I enjoy going there for a hot drink and a pastry for breakfast and I especially like the soup and salad I enjoy for brunch. I have tried all the sandwiches and cannot pick out a favorite. I do enjoy the hot drinks I have tried. One thing I consider a real treat is the small morsels of bread offered freely at the condiment counter. I love that little treat! I look forward to the more temperate weather so I can dine outdoors.
