This was a pleasant little treat in Clint. All of our food was yummy. I loved my pancakes more than my husband's waffle. We were accommodated quickly and the staff was very nice. The only downside is that they have just one restroom. It was also pretty warm inside the entire restaurant and very warm in the restroom. read more

Fun diner option in San Eli / Clint with tasty menu options and a comfortable, casual dining space. We dropped by for a late breakfast / brunch between basketball games for the kids and we enjoyed our meal. We ordered a mix of different breakfast / waffle options and everybody liked their choices. Waffles are done well, fries were surprisingly very good, also liked the bacon. As the space filled up with more customers, the service slowed down a bit with refills & other dining needs being slower than we would have liked. Something that looked like an experienced manager could make more efficient with some small tweaks. We look forward to returning at some point. read more

I happily give this place 5 stars. We stopped by on our quarterly trip to pick up pecans from our local pecan farm. This was our second trip, but this time, we had bigger appetites. The place has a great modern coffee shop vibe - relaxed and chill. There were open tables and a nice crowd size. The service was super friendly and fast. We were amazed at how quickly the food came to us. We found the menu to be a good size with many choices. The food was also fresh, hot, and tasty. Finally, the prices were very reasonable. Hello, The food is great at this place but the reason I'm giving you a low score is due to your staff. I understand that you have only two waitresses in the morning but regardless, they have a job to do and have to be at their best with the customers. My last two experiences with your waitresses have been nothing but unamazing. On my last visit, one of your waitresses forgot our waters, 5 waters we asked for. When we were finally able to get a hold of her, we asked her for our waters a second time but she only brought one and just left. She took too long to get our order while trying to flag her down after literally 15 min of waiting. Finally, I had to ask for a to-go box to go 3 times. I'm not kidding. I have 4 witnesses. That is ridiculous! But what really bothered me is that she never expresses any remorse or never apologized, not even for the to-go boxes. You have a fine establishment, but your waitresses need some serious customer service skills training and empathy training. One last thing, we have 5 people in our party, so please, quit sitting parties of only 2 people in a large table made for large groups! We had to wait because the corner large table had two people could have easily sat in the smaller tables which many were available. read more

Friendly local coffee shop out in the country side of El Paso (Clint). There isn't much in this area for coffee shops but if you are ever out this way I highly recommend visiting. I had a house coffee and it was decent for a morning cup of cafè, I thought it was a little on weak side flavor wise but overall still a worthy cup of Joe. The staff was friendly and greeted upon entering (always a good sign). Didnt try any of the food but I will one of these days when I'm back in the area again for work. Stopped by Coffee Waffle in Clint on our way to Licon Dairy today (it's 10 minutes away). It's a cute spot that's family owned and the service was warm and friendly. Unfortunately the food was just ok and a little overpriced. I wouldn't go out of my way just for the food here and they close at 2pm so it's definitely geared more towards locals. The service was very friendly, yet uneven, extremely so since they probably stopped by 7 times to ask us what we needed to order, but once we got our food, they kinda disappeared and I had to flag for the bill and a box. I was curious since they had boba and so I ordered the taro boba. It was definitely just powder and the boba was hard and unflavored. I don't think they added any simple syrup or flavoring to the boba balls because they were bland and hard to bite when it should have a bit of chew. The waffles themselves were definitely flavored with vanilla, but they weren't the liege Belgian waffles that are usually what places that specialize in waffles serve. It wasn't light, crispy, airy, or even had specks of caramelized sugar throughout the waffle. It was probably just from premix and doughy and soft. I'm sad to say my husband makes better waffles at home. The worst part was that they were heavy and dense and actually soggy at the bottom because they allowed it to sorta steam heat and it wasn't crispy to begin with and the heat just broke down the structure. No one wants soggy waffles. These were the same waffles in the Boss sandwich which had egg, bacon, sausage, and cheese. The ingredients were generous but the waffles (which should have been the star) made it a soggy bad sandwich. It was also bland, but you can add syrup, ketchup, or Cholula hot sauce to it, but it made the sogginess worse. They upcharge you 4% if you don't use cash, and at average price of $4 for a waffle and $7 for the sandwich, it's pretty pricey. I understand and support local family owned businesses but when the food isn't good, it doesn't matter how cute the decor is, and it is cute in here. I love that businesses are trying new things here in El Paso but I just think that the execution of the food might be better so that they will have repeat clients and people will make the trek to get amazing waffles. It's just my opinion, but coming from Bruxie and Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles, I know that a great waffle will get a business far. We heard about the Coffee Waffle so we came to scope it out a Saturday morning . My daughter and I ordered the New breakfast sandwich (egg bacon sausage-no cheese for me) and the Strawnana-waffles with strawberry banana and Nutella. Everything was delicious! I came here the other day and I have to say, I loved it! I had heard from my good friend who knows the owners that the Coffee Waffle was just wonderful when she went there! I like to critic new restaurants I go to and I was looking forward to this one for sure. First I would like to mention the exterior of the cafe: the little outdoor patio looked great; the vine-covered lattice fence eve REALLY tied the whole entire place together, and made me feel like I wasn't in the desert anymore. When I walked inside, I was pleasantly surprised to smell a sweet aroma of vanilla cream and maple syrup. Just that scent on the other side of the door is enough to make a person ask for whatever is available! The interior of the cafe was this cute, comfy looking room with plenty of space, and a nice playlist of music in the background. The whole place just had this relaxed and homely feel. All of the furniture and decor had lots of detail. The service I got was exceptional, even before they knew that I would be writing a review. The menu had a great variety of drinks, coffee, waffles, paninis, and salads. There wasn't too much to choose from, nor too little. I ordered what they call a, "Co-ffle" which was a waffle with chocolate, caramel, ice cream and whipped cream. The order came in a short amount of time, and it was delicious! The sizing and amounts of syrups were perfect, and it was just a scrumptious meal (maybe not the healthiest, but yum). The prices here weren't bad either. I have only a few notes to mention: The large chalkboard menu at the counter was amazing, but I feel like the hand-held ones needed more detail on what each order was exactly; The waffles here are delicious, but just a tad too dry; Not a big fan of the fennel in the panini bread, but that's just me; Last, the one strip of fake grass on the wall to hide the electrical cord looked a little odd, so you might want to think about switching that with some kind of string lights like the ones on the ceiling and place more like them on the other walls so that the hiding ones aren't the only wall-lights. That's really all the negative things I can say! The food was great, the interior/exterior were great, the service was great! Another great find thanks to fb. Small cute spot in Clint. Thanks to now living in Horizon the drives aren't as far as going to the new spots in the far eastside. We walked in and u could instantly smell that it was going to be yummy! We sat down and were approached quickly by a cheerful waitress with a great friendly smile. We were asked what we'd like to drink being our first time we didn't have a clue. No menus everything is scan and online which I'm still not used to and kinda don't like bcz we have a no phones out on dates rule so we had to get our phones out. Simple menu lots of drink choices lots of items on the menu to eat will definitely go way above your allotted sugar for the day but once in a while it's ok to splurge. My date got the first item on the menu 2 eggs 2 sausage 2 bacon strips 2 pancakes (not waffles?) He liked it said it was pretty good. I got the spicy chicken and waffles. It was good the spice level was right on. We got white chocolate flavored coffee. It's coffee and they add the syrup. Nothing fancy good hot coffee. The time between refills is slow so we had to be slow with the coffee sipping. Will we be back? Yes! The kiddo will have to try this place out i know she'll love the drinks.
