It was an ample supply of food...and it was very good. Liz went with the usual, chipotle chilaquiles. 'Em had a croissant sandwich that came with country potatoes. She did not stop to share her order...she makes me laugh. Noah went with a birthday chicken and waffles. The service was attentive and she kept the coffee flowing. This place only exists because of a reputation of affluence which it's menu and quality doesn't live up to. Today the wait guy was tippless because he couldn't wait on more than two tables. Our coffee was cold. I had to go to the bar for creamer and hot coffee. Our meals were dry and we barely ate them. After explaining this to the waiter, there was no consensus of how to remedy this experience. If you want real food and a real menu along with a real dinning experience for brunch go to Butter Smiths or Another Broken Egg and leave this place with the snob money from Juarez. read more

There's a time and place for everything. On a busy Saturday lunch hour, is not the time to be dancing behind the bar with your coworkers and ignoring your customers. I walked in and since I'm a single person, I want to go to the bar. I sat there watching the bartender just mosey around and at first, was completely ignoring my presence. "Am I invisible?!" No greeting, no acknowledging, just a sloppy leisure walk and she had no care to be at work. Eventually she approached and asked if I'd like something to drink...(what gave you that idea, I'm sitting at the bar?) Well, I'd been sitting there for almost 10 minutes, so I wanted to try their Bloody Mary (the one with the meat and cheese skewer). She never explained there were two different ones or even gave me an option. I would've spent the $15+ on the other, but I guess that would've been too much work for her. Another 10-15 minutes go by and she asked if I'd like something food. Sure, I guess I'd built up an appetite watching the staff do nothing but gossip behind the bar. I ended up ordering the Crab Cake Benedict. After another 5-10 minutes pass, she comes back and states they're out of their house potatoes. (Of course) So I substitute for sweet potato fries, and since I have made it this far with my first time not so great experience at this establishment, and I am determined to not come back. (In the meantime, she'd also forgot about the couple sitting next to me the remainder of their order after they were almost done.) My wife and I came in on a Sunday afternoon around 2 PM to take advantage of the brunch menu and celebrate a family birthday. We called earlier that morning to make a reservation for our large party of 9, which I highly recommend. The seating inside the restaurant is limited, specifically for large parties. The time we went was super busy and we ended up being sat outside in their patio seating. The patio seating isn't bad, however it was very windy that day, and the wind was catching certain parts of our table, making it uncomfortable to eat. Of course this isn't the restaurant's fault or anything, but it affected our experience nonetheless. Our server was mostly attentive, although there were numerous occasions that we had to go looking for him to ask for something--refills, silverware, etc. He did okay, but could have been better. Food-wise I'll stick with reviewing what I ordered--I decided to go with the "Brunch Burger:" a burger with house-made bacon jam, fresh arugula, Dijon mustard, havarti cheese, and an egg. It came with a side of fries. My burger was just okay. Nothing special. I ordered it medium, but it came out more med-well to borderline well done, but I wasn't going to send it back and wait more. The combination of the other ingredients was fine, but again, it wasn't amazing or anything. Fries were crisp. Overall our visit was okay, I would probably order something different the next time around if we came back! read more

I don't know what has happened to this place since four months ago but this restaurant has really gone downhill. I had a double expresso shot, the pancakes and on of their fruity non alcoholic drinks while my husband had the pasole. My expresso was not hot, maybe lukewarm. I overlooked this but when the rest of the meal was awful...well you can't overlook it! My pancakes were rubbery and tough. The potatoes had an old grease aftertaste. The sausages were ok. My husband's pasole was really really salty and they served it with tortilla chips. Honestly, for the price we paid I expected ALOT better! The service was disappointing, we were in a corner so maybe she didn't see us but why have a table there if you are just going to neglect it? Well, one year later, we hope this place would have improved. When this place first opened, the food was amazing, however, its been consistently pretty bad. The omelette was super salty and greasy. The steak in the salad was overcooked. The server was very nice, however nonexistent. She came over at the beginning and completely interrupted our conversation. We asked for the music to be turned down slightly so we could hear each other because it sounded like we were in a nightclub. Mind you this was at 12 noon on a weekday. Don't get me wrong, I love to play loud music and dance and go to clubs, however, this is not the time or the place. Loud music seems to be a reoccurring issue in El Paso restaurants. I'd like to add that we waited about half an hour for the food to come out and only two out of the four plates came out so part of our party got to eat their food first, which is very rude. Somebody needs to let servers there know that serving all the people at the table at the same time is good etiquette. How do you get a job at a restaurant without knowing this? Do the managers train the staff? From my experience the quieter, the restaurant, the more elegant, and classier the establishment. This place needs new cooks, possibly with some cooking experience. This is a reason why we don't go out to eat anymore. Unless we see some improvements in the restaurants around us, it's just not worth it to go out anymore. Why go to a loud restaurant where you can't even talk to the people you want to catch up with? If you want to go to a club go at night. If you want to drink go to a bar. read more

This place is just okay. The food isn't super great, and it's over priced in my opinion. Which is sad, because their menu is fantastic. I love the Korean influence. According to other reviews, their food used to be very good but quality has just declined. I can't speak to that. My biggest gripe is that they claim to serve 100% maple syrup but it is clearly not 100% maple. It's probably Aunt Jemima or something similar. Customers can taste a difference, and if you're expecting 100% maple that's pretty disappointing. read more

Visited this place after a cycle bar class and I thoroughly enjoyed it! Sierra, our waitress, was so friendly, kind, and gave us top notch service. She is 10/10! The ambiance is definitely brunch desert and a cute place to enjoy with a date, friends, or family. Order: Bruschetta Trio - $19 - So delicious and made a great appetizer to share. Only recommendation is to pre-cut them before it gets to the table. The flavor combo was so so good and fresh and flavorful. Baja Fish Tacos - $17.25 - The tacos tasted fresh, a hint of spice, and the crunch of the fish is so good. I liked how filling yet light it tasted. Tiramisu - $8.50 - A must try! The ladyfingers kept their integrity while providing a good profile for just the right amount of sweetness. I live on the north east side and I have to say, the Chilaquiles is hands down better on the West side location. There's no comparison. The skirt steak is flavored and cooked 10x better than the North East location. In fact, this is the best skirt steak I've ever had, ever. Maybe it was a fluke day, but even my wife was amazed by it. I get that this is primarily a breakfast place, but people do drink wine at brunch or lunch, so I thought it odd that they barely had any to choose from. The kale pesto in the bruschetta trio is straight up not good. Make pesto with basil, and it'll actually taste good. Humans shouldn't eat kale anyways. Also, not sure what the deal is with arugula here, but they put PILES of it on so many dishes. It's bitter and wilted and honestly, who wants to eat an entire plate of arugula with zero dressing or even salt?? If you're gonna serve it as garnish, a little goes a long way. Pretty solid menu for all appetites and palettes to be honest. For the table we started off with a charcuterie board and chargrilled edamame. Perfect for sharing and just needing something to nibble on before the main courses. The entree of choice was their salmon with a caper white sauce. Not only was it properly seasoned, but the cut was very generous! It was a great balance of flavor yet fulfilling.
