It's a cute spacious cafe with brunch-style decor, beautiful lighting, and various seating styles. The staff is pleasant and full of smiles as soon as you walk in. The cuisine is unique, seasoned well and will leave you wanting more and hard to make a decision. I had the lunch 1/2 special which included a half order of the chicken n' waffles entree paired with the jambalaya. The portion sizes of each were perfect, for me. The jambalaya was well seasoned and had much shrimp which was devine. The dish comes with an egg, I chose scrambled. As brunch girlie, I love a good cocktail! My first time here and it was a great experience! We came on a Thursday morning and it wasn't too busy. The food was incredible. We got the Southern Breakfast Bowl and added the pancakes for a few extra dollars. We knew the portions were large (and they are!) so we split everything and it was more than enough for each of us! Our server even brought us extra plates knowing we were sharing. We also got the half order of biscuit beignets. If you sign up on their website they'll send you an email for a free half order of them so that's what we did! They come with a side of honey and they are very sweet, but so good! The place is very cute and clean. The workers are very nice and knowledgeable. I ordered the fried chicken & waffles that was a 2/10, it had no flavor. The coffee and toast were a 10/10 though. My husband got the lobster omelette he said it was a 9/10! We will be coming back, I would like to try a few other dishes. read more

I got on the waitlist at 09:30, from my phone in the parking lot. After checking in with the host I was quoted 20 minutes till being seated. I waited 35 minutes and checked again, and was told "10 more minutes tops" by the host. 20 more minutes elapsed, and the manager came out and said they were "dealing with a large party and the wait was longer than expected." 15 minutes later I was called saying my table was ready. As soon as we sat down we ordered- because I didnt plan on wasting my entire Saturday here. The waiter told us the food would be "30-45 minutes to come out due to a large party" I will never, under any circumstances come back here. Yesterday she conversed with my friend in fluent border Spanish. This time I got a real brunch item, the Pumpkin Crunch Waffle with pumpkin cheesecake butter, crumbled graham crackers and maple pumpkin syrup. So yummy. You get eggs and choice of bacon or sausage patties, all for $15.99; I added a large OJ and Barista blend coffee with free refills. Very clean environment. They have a kids menu. Lots of happy local customers. Entrance/exit to their parking lot behind the building is only on southbound Mesa St. There is a back way but an adjacent business chained it off. read more

DONT use the online wait list, its bullshit. I used the online waitlist, it stated "thank you for saving your spot it will be 20 to 30min" so I arrived in 20min to the location. When I arrived thay told me the wait was 20 to 30min. When I explained the online wait list the manager told me I have to wait for everyone else that also used the online wait list ... what?! Waited twice the proposed wait only to go up to the counter and discover the reason we hadn't been seated yet was because people were getting on the waitlist online AFTER we already were on the waitlist. My daughter totally devoured her full sized mango and berry waffles. The eggs were fluffy and the sausage patties were uniquely seasoned...they're not your Jimmy Dean sausages, folks. This was my second time visiting and brought my family to try it. Just like the first time, the ambiance is super cozy and charming. It definately has a cool southern vibe. Love that. The prices are decent and the service was great again. The only reason I am not rating this place a five is because of the unimpressive chicken and waffles. So I gave this place a try and you never know what to expect. Well, i have to say this place is worth checking out. The food was delicious and the service was great. I believe it was the manager who mentioned not to park next door or you'll get a ticket. So make sure you park in the restaurant's parking area. Then the food was great. I had breakfast there the first week it opened. The food was so so but I paid my bill and had occasion to go next door to the Mobil store to inquire about new service. While there I checked my bank account on my phone app and discovered that I had been billed twice for the one breakfast and it truly upset me. I returned to the breakfast cashier and showed her the double charge on my bank card which I had on my phone She said it would be corrected . Since that day I have never returned . Our server Jamie-Lee was so kind and attentive an we had a great experience with her ! 10/10 Would come back for her. However.. there was another server there (I think her name was Jasmine) she was just acting kind of weird pacing and being all over the other employees but not really doing much, eventually she started serving some tables but at one point she came up to the bar area, leaned over and rinsed the end of her ponytail off in the sink under the bar counter and then just continued to touch her hair while walking around. Starting off when you walk in, we were seated very fast, and I got a hot chocolate, in their famous mug. Very great! When the food came, crab cake eggs Benedict with grits, which was great! My brother's potatoes were good! Now the service. Our waitress was the nicest I've ever met! She even gave us a nice dessert, which were fried biscuits and marmalade, which was very kind. The food makes a business was for me. A place can have the best about if the food is not cutting it, I may not be back. Here at Another Broken Egg, the food is fantastic! And the choices!!! They have everything from Bourbon Street pancakes to shrimp creole Benedict. Yes, they have grits here and that's what I chose today as my side instead of potatoes. The service is great and my waitress made sure my coffee cup was always full- no I did not get a spiked coffee today because I am driving but I am coming back with a driver and I will try out their specialty coffees. I saw a few going by on a service g tray and they were topped with whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate. As for the ambiance, it is roomy- the tables are not cramped on top of each other. The decor is modern farmhouse with clean lines and an uncluttered look so you can focus on the food. As for the food- my food has arrived. The grits are perfectly prepared and have a rich buttery taste. They don't need any additional seasoning. The Deep South Benedict is a delicious layering of crispy chicken strips, egg, cheese and onion jam on a big biscuit. I need a fork and knife to eat this! I ate less than half and savored every bite! Oh and how can I not sample the beignets! The half order has four and the regular order has eight; I got the half order. My mom had been dying to try one of the new spots in El Paso for breakfast, and there was no saying 'no' to mom. The app can add your name to the waitlist, but even though we did make the waitlist, there was no need as we were seated right away. Our server, Ana, was amiable at the start. She took our drink order and then our food order. In addition to our order, we requested a half order of beignets. Ana asked if it was our first time, and we mentioned that it was, and she went ahead and comped the beignets. The beignets are best served and eaten hot as they could dry up quickly. They serve it with an orange marmalade and recommend dipping it, not only because it would add moisture but because it is perfect. I had ordered the Mardi Gras omelet, generously made with shrimp and andouille sausage and lightly covered in sauce. The English muffin would be a nice touch if it is not dry, which mine was. There were several options for sides, including grits and country potatoes, but my choice, which looked off the menu, was the hash brown croquettes, which were hash browns with ham and cheese mixed in and rolled up. I took a fork to the croquettes, mashed it, and added tabasco, which was delicious. The star of the show was Ana; she made all of us feel welcome and made sure we were ok throughout the service, but one thing that stood out was that she had forgotten to comp the beignets; I decided to let it go as it would not have affected towards whether or not I returned. But rather than charge me for it, she voluntarily corrected it. She went above and beyond and won a return customer.
