The food makes a business was for me. A place can have the best about if the food is not cutting it, I may not be back. Here at Another Broken Egg, the food is fantastic! And the choices!!! They have everything from Bourbon Street pancakes to shrimp creole Benedict. Yes, they have grits here and that's what I chose today as my side instead of potatoes. The service is great and my waitress made sure my coffee cup was always full- no I did not get a spiked coffee today because I am driving but I am coming back with a driver and I will try out their specialty coffees. I saw a few going by on a service g tray and they were topped with whipped cream and drizzled with chocolate. As for the ambiance, it is roomy- the tables are not cramped on top of each other. The decor is modern farmhouse with clean lines and an uncluttered look so you can focus on the food. As for the food- my food has arrived. The grits are perfectly prepared and have a rich buttery taste. They don't need any additional seasoning. The Deep South Benedict is a delicious layering of crispy chicken strips, egg, cheese and onion jam on a big biscuit. I need a fork and knife to eat this! I ate less than half and savored every bite! Oh and how can I not sample the beignets! The half order has four and the regular order has eight; I got the half order. Little hunks of fried dough rolled in powdered sugar and served warm with a marmalade sauce- yes two out of four are going home for later. read more

My mom had been dying to try one of the new spots in El Paso for breakfast, and there was no saying 'no' to mom. The app can add your name to the waitlist, but even though we did make the waitlist, there was no need as we were seated right away. Our server, Ana, was amiable at the start. She took our drink order and then our food order. In addition to our order, we requested a half order of beignets. Ana asked if it was our first time, and we mentioned that it was, and she went ahead and comped the beignets. The beignets are best served and eaten hot as they could dry up quickly. They serve it with an orange marmalade and recommend dipping it, not only because it would add moisture but because it is perfect. I had ordered the Mardi Gras omelet, generously made with shrimp and andouille sausage and lightly covered in sauce. The English muffin would be a nice touch if it is not dry, which mine was. There were several options for sides, including grits and country potatoes, but my choice, which looked off the menu, was the hash brown croquettes, which were hash browns with ham and cheese mixed in and rolled up. I took a fork to the croquettes, mashed it, and added tabasco, which was delicious. The star of the show was Ana; she made all of us feel welcome and made sure we were ok throughout the service, but one thing that stood out was that she had forgotten to comp the beignets; I decided to let it go as it would not have affected towards whether or not I returned. But rather than charge me for it, she voluntarily corrected it. She went above and beyond and won a return customer. A southern breakfast stop in a southwest town that prides itself on its culture would work as long as the service is consistent with what my family received. Yes it does read more

Our server Jamie-Lee was so kind and attentive an we had a great experience with her ! 10/10 Would come back for her. However.. there was another server there (I think her name was Jasmine) she was just acting kind of weird pacing and being all over the other employees but not really doing much, eventually she started serving some tables but at one point she came up to the bar area, leaned over and rinsed the end of her ponytail off in the sink under the bar counter and then just continued to touch her hair while walking around. Just felt kind of weird and not something you'd want to see while eating your food read more

This place is BUSY! So I suggest being patient. The service is very friendly and fast considering it's packed most the time. It has a modern diner vibe to it inside. The food was so amazing. It was honestly very hard to choose what to eat cause their menu is great. I got the lemon blueberry pancake breakfast and the lemon blueberry mimosa. Everything was great. I'll be back soon to try more. read more

I personally loved it. I like the decor and vibe but music is a bit loud for my taste. Food was fantastic, I got the Broken egg Biscuit Sandwich, Heavily buttered biscuit with two seasoned right fried chicken tenders, sausage gravy that was tasty af and I got it with my egg scrambled. And cou try potatoes, cubed, crispy, and had good flavor. Wifey had the Lobster hash. Lobster was tender, had a poached egg on top of crispy hash, she loved it. We both got side stacks of pancakes. Bourbon Street and the goat cheese blueberry. The blueberry ones were dry, but the flavor was good. Now the Bourbon ones were sauced up with a Bourbon caramel, bananas and pecans. It was delicious. Service was decent. We got there early but it got filled up pretty quickly and of course have impatient customers that become Karen's and mess with the flow of things. They are new and still a few kinks to work out, but a very good place to eat. read more

I'm from Louisiana and I love shrimp and I love grits and Man this place their shrimp and grits is awesome. Also their biscuits and gravy with sausage and an egg is delicious I love this place I'd give it six stars if I could. Also, much to my delight, they have a full bar and my favorite, bourbon, makers mark. I'm so glad this place is only 10 minutes from where I live. I went there twice last weekend I can't get enough of it. !!!!!! read more

Server was nice and friendly. That's where the good news stops. The food was less than impressive and very overpriced for especially for breakfast. Tried Abe's hot chicken and eggs or something to that extent. Abe's signature hot sauce was nothing more than unimpressive Buffalo sauce. Supposed to be Cajun inspired, this place would leave any real Cajun flooring their vehicle eastbound down I-10 for 900 miles until they reached the Louisiana state line. There are plenty of great breakfast restaurants in El Paso, avoid this one. read more

so glad i found this gem in el paso! the service here was great and the ambiance is like a cute little diner but a little classier HAHA. they also have seasonal selections here as well and a little newcomer food surprise. what we ordered: 1. mango dragon fruit french toast - 6/10. this was pretty good! i was expecting more dragonfruit on it but i liked how the toast was covered with the breadcrumbs. it gave it a really nice crunch. i also wish the mangoes were a little fresher and juicier but it added a really nice fresh flavor to the dish! 2. shrimp grits - 7.5/10. i've never had grits before and this was super tasty! the flavor wasn't too salty but perfectly savory. loved the texture of the grits and how there were bits of sausages in there as well 3. bacon - 10/10. THE BACON HERE WAS AMAZING. i usually don't really like bacon but it was so good!!! it literally melted in my mouth 4. beignets - 5/10. we got these for free but they were a little hard and stale. wish they were a little fluffier in the inside and crispier on the outside. but we were so happy they gave this to us for free! thank you!! read more

I moved to El Paso Five years ago and began my search for a charming and delicious breakfast place. The people lake Kathy really add a taste of Southern hospitality and of course the food... it is delicious I had the Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict. I loved it . Finally ate here after driving by and seeing all the crowds. Wed. Morning wasn't very busy when we first came but was full by the time we left. I had the Shrimp and Grits and wife had the Apricot Pancakes. The S and G was very good and very tasty. Wife thought they were skimpy on the apricots and berries on top. I do think the prices are a little high for ELP but I get it with inflation nowadays. I wish them well but judging by the lines, I think they will make it. read more

First time here and I loved it. Reminded me of Snooze but southern and not that crazy of a menu. They have a lot of drink options (alcoholic and mocktails) and a great staff! The pancakes were the best I've had from a chain, eggs and bacon were perfect. Also tried the strawberry French toast which was amazing. I came in a Monday so no wait, but I have seen the line out the door during weekends so be prepared to wait. It's a little small. All in all great place! read more

Went in for breakfast around 11 am on a Friday and got seated right away. It seemed pretty busy, but not overwhelming. Paul helped us and he was great! Super friendly and informative, while making great conversation in general. My husband and I got the strawberry pound cake french toast and the southwest scrambler. The french toast came with a side of the egg and your choice of meat and the scrambler came with tortillas and your choice of a side. The scramble was great! Good flavors and is not something that I could get tired of quickly. The guacamole and salsa on the side were a great addition also! My French toast was a bit too sweet for me, but I think it's probably just because it was a bit early in the day. It had a subtle touch of cinnamon and the pound cake was super soft and moist. Overall, I would definitely come again because of their diverse menu and excellent service! read more

Newest place on the Westside. They took over the old Village Inn on the corner of Sunland Park and Mesa. They are a breakfast, brunch and lunch place only with a Louisiana Creole and Cajun flavor! Very unique taste with lots of great options and a full bar! The servings are pretty big and the atmosphere and service was on point! We went on a Sunday at around 12:30pm for brunch and there was a wait until we were offered seats at the bar, it was super comfortable and again the service was excellent! Give it a shot, enjoy! read more

I was born in NOLA and was looking forward to trying this place. I had a break been appointments and decided to pop in, by myself, for a late lunch. Entryway was cluttered with odd construction stuff and hostess seemed either annoyed or unsure of what to do. I had to promt with "table for 1 please." That was the extent of the conversation though. The new location seems to be sorting out some issues, but the menu is creative and has potential. The 80s/90s vocal pop/rock background music is a bit much for a relaxed brunch place. Lemon blueberry pancakes presentation left something to be desired, but the taste was fine. Some undercooked batter in the middle and really uneven distribution of berries and goat cheese crumbles. My over medium eggs were perfect, but the tiny chicken sausages arrived nearly 15 minutes after the rest of the food. The house blend coffee is nice enough - I appreciate the option to request a "strong" brew. Not sure why the server asks which creamer you want when they give a small assorted basket rather than the item you requested. Refill arrived quickly, but without the half and half to enjoy it. The custom coffee mugs are cute and fit in the hand nicely, but are on the small side for my personal tastes. I write this as Guns & Roses blasts on the speakers and I'm considering whether I'll be back. 2 eggs, 3 slightly odd pancakes, 2 tiny sausages and coffee for $20.00. Maybe I'll give it a few more months to sort out things and give it another try. My server was polite, apologetic and generally good. Just not a particularly satisfying experience. read more

The food at this place is soo delicious! I cannot stress that enough. I ordered the shrimp and grits and my husband was uncertain because he doesn't typically like grits and he thought they were great. Price is ridiculous. Improve food as well. I can go to IHop and get more for less. I will pass. Always closed when I pass.

Taking into consideration that they just opened-they did all right. Alberto gave excellent service and was very personable. The music was "60's" and fun. The prices were a bit high. The Lucy omelette could use more flavor and pico de Gallo would help. The beignets were awesome. We'll try them again. read more

We usually get great service and great food here, which is why we choose to go when we are in the area. This past Friday, they must have had the "not really care to be here" crew on the job, or it was too early (8ish in the morning). I ordered the blueberry pancakes with eggs and sausage and I got ham. I mean, I know it's the same animal, but I hate to see another place turning into"you get what you get and you're going to eat it" place. We also had to wait for our server to eventually come back with the check, he did not seem interested in the job at hand at all. And no, they were not that busy. read more
