Hummus toast and iced mint tea

Stopped by in between meetings & had a nice, little, healthy snack. Great place to catch up on work!

Nutella Toast and egg sandwich with two matcha drinks

Good food. Also, matcha drink was really good! So many places have really grainy matcha drinks but these were perfect! I added strawberry to my matcha and i would definitely come back for it! Nice relaxing ambiance. Sat outside and it was early enough to enjoy our meals and conversation with a nice breeze.

    Pour over

I've been to Mas y Menos a few times over the past year and I have found that it is genuinely one of the best places to get a great cup of coffee. I went here today and got the pour over based off of the beans available and was suggested a fruity flavored coffee that had incredibly blueberry notes and a smooth aftertaste. I haven't had the food here yet but definitely recommend the coffee. Overall, definitely recommend and will be back for more.

    Mocha

It was the end of the work (WFH) day, and rather than wait to drive out later I decided to order in coffee using Favor. We both tried the mocha, and my boyfriend requested for his drink to be less sweet if possible. While we weren't at Mas y Menos in person to place the order, our runner let us know that they only had the 12 oz size available, not the 16 oz, and they weren't able to make the drink less sweet. It turns out that we were both ok with the sweetness level - it was for sure not overly sweet. My boyfriend really liked the flavor while I thought it was a bit above average, but it did wake both of us up! So mission accomplished. Looking at pictures, this spot looks like a great place to stop by in person one day.

    Latte

Coffee and food are well crafted with care, but the price for a latte, pint of beer, or sandwich is slightly more than expected without the justification compared to other local coffee shops & beer taprooms. The variety offered is a nice thought, but it's chaotic menu induces some confusion about what is the pricing difference for a single item (iced vs hot? Med vs Lrg?). They've started charging 10 cents per to go container, which isn't bothersome but portrays an image of penny pinching, giving the notion of a business struggling with rising rent costs, labor costs, and material costs. At nearly $7-8 per coffee you'd figure the plastic ware would be covered and profitable.

Vanilla Pistachio Latte (top) and Lavender Chai Latte (bottom).

First time at this restaurant/cafe. Seemed a nice place for studying as multiple people were there with their laptops and they provided their wifi password at the front of the cash register. Initially, the cashier was friendly and we ordered two lattes (Pistachio latte on top of pic and lavender chai latte on bottom) as well as a turkey sandwich and spicy Italian panini which cost ~42 dollars in total without tip. We sat outside since it was a nice day and inside they had water provided. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: The lattes were delicious albeit a little sweet. I recommend the lavender chai latte with a little less syrup. The girl at the front was quick and our meals were filling and delicious. Especially the sauce on their turkey sandwich which almost made the bread taste like a crouton. Cons: Outside gets a little too sunny in some areas if you are going to stay there a long time. The chips that come with the sandwich are vinegar chips, which we enjoyed but it was unexpected. We realized we wanted to give an extra tip so we went back inside for a small box and to put more in the tip jar. Baristas in the back were talking while another customer waited and they were a little rude. Rolling their eyes when we asked for a box and when we asked if we leave our cups at the table or bring them in, the girl gestured to their bins in annoyance. After asking again, she told us to put it under the hidden cabinet area and left. Not quite sure why they changed their attitude so much, but we overheard something about a shift change. Either way, it made us leave on a more bitter note than intended. Overall, a good place to have coffee and food to study if you don't mind paying higher prices. Service seems to be a hit or miss. The atmosphere felt pretty chill.

    Iced Hazelnut Latte To-Go
    Marie P.

This place is cute! Just a quaint little coffee shop that also serves beer and has a small food menu. I stopped in to grab a coffee and check it out as it's been on "my list" for a while. It was 84° out so I ordered an Iced Hazelnut Latte. Next time I might ask for a little less milk in my latte but it was still good. The space was clean and service was fast and friendly. What more could you ask for?

Mas y Menos was on my coffee shops collection list for a while and their Instagram photos kept haunting me. So when my friend wanted to get together on Sunday I knew just the place! The outside and inside decore was colorful, peaceful and open. I must say I have never been in a more quiet coffee shop - everyone was on their laptops. My friend and I ordered and sat at the couch so as not to be too loud. We had a lot of catching up to do. The sandwiches were okay. The Chai Latte I had was perfect - just the right amount of sweet. Not sure I will drive way out here for this coffee shop but their service was great. The young lady that served us was super cordial. On to the next coffee shop on my list.....

    Jenny M.

We love this place the wine is good I prefer red dry. The bottle was half price on Sunday. You can't go wrong. The barista that served us the wine food was amazing. Also my daughter enjoyed the hibiscus cold tea . The tray of cheese and cold cuts was delicious. We definitely be back. It was a great Sunday we recommend it. We will be back.

Egg sandwich with avocado and cheese
    Raquel P.

Went during the week and it was really simple. Wanted to try the guava mimosa and they ran out, so I did a fresh squeezed OJ mimosa which was good, but nothing particularly special. The egg sandwich with cheese and avocado was really good. I do feel like it would need the extra toppings in order to be so good. The ham and cheese panini was good too. The service was good and friendly. The ambiance was a definite vibe. Also a cool mom place too Definitely worth trying!

    Cortado
    Ruben A.

Great vibes. A place to really slow down and taste the coffee. Coffee is great. Service was amazing. I got a cortado and a danish. Cortado was bold but light with the cream. Danish was a bit tough but tasted great. I'd recommend.

Cappuccino - tastes better than it looks actually. Nice surprise ;)

Is this place good for studying? I know it's weird to ask but I've been to cafes that are not study-friendly...

Yes! I haven't had their coffee but lots of space and tables. Only thing is the metal chairs might be a little uncomfortable if you are sitting for a long time.

It was a Friday night, we arrived around 8pm and the restaurant was so busy and full of life. Music was blasting, ranging from reggaeton, to regional mexicana/banda, to pop. The prices for the food and drinks were all super cheap as well, so we knew we'd be ordering multiple items. Probably the best item we had was the arrachera quesadilla (can't remember the actual name in the menu for it). Our waiter was a young guy, constantly coming by asking if we wanted to add on to our order. We had multiple rounds of tequila shots and some mixed drinks, but definitely felt like the liquor was watered down. Before we took off, we even danced a couple of songs, giving us a club feel. Overall we loved it so much we had decided to come back the following Tuesday with more family. Well....we were left so disappointed. Everything was completely different. We arrived around 10, figured it being a Tuesday before Christmas Eve, it wouldn't be too busy. It seems that it was a lot busier than the restaurant had expected because they were definitely understaffed. Our waiter probably took 20 minutes to come to us to take our drink order and when he finally did, he stood in one end of the table struggling to hear us from the opposite end over the loud music. Don't understand why he couldn't simply walk over to our side. We waited another 10 minutes to actually get the drinks and for him to come around again to take our food order. Since service was so slow, we tried going straight to the bar and get drinks there, but they wouldn't take our orders because they had to be placed with our waiter. Food was pretty much the same, with the exception of the kitchen running out of multiple items by 11:30. I would have given this place 5 stars on the first visit alone: cheap food and drinks (great food quality for the value), absolutely great ambiance and fast/attentive service. But because we came back again and had such terrible and slow service, I'm giving them 3 stars.
