We had the Buffalo Fries, we 100% recommend. Wish we could've taken a picture before we devoured them. They were that good!

I happily give this place 5 stars. We stopped by on our quarterly trip to pick up pecans from our local pecan farm. This was our second trip, but this time, we had bigger appetites. The place has a great modern coffee shop vibe - relaxed and chill. There were open tables and a nice crowd size. The service was super friendly and fast. We were amazed at how quickly the food came to us. We found the menu to be a good size with many choices. The food was also fresh, hot, and tasty. Finally, the prices were very reasonable. All in all, it was win, win, win, win. My 5 star rating is the easiest review I've given on Yelp to date.

Stopped by Coffee Waffle in Clint on our way to Licon Dairy today (it's 10 minutes away). It's a cute spot that's family owned and the service was warm and friendly. Unfortunately the food was just ok and a little overpriced. I wouldn't go out of my way just for the food here and they close at 2pm so it's definitely geared more towards locals. The service was very friendly, yet uneven, extremely so since they probably stopped by 7 times to ask us what we needed to order, but once we got our food, they kinda disappeared and I had to flag for the bill and a box. I was curious since they had boba and so I ordered the taro boba. It was definitely just powder and the boba was hard and unflavored. I don't think they added any simple syrup or flavoring to the boba balls because they were bland and hard to bite when it should have a bit of chew. The waffles themselves were definitely flavored with vanilla, but they weren't the liege Belgian waffles that are usually what places that specialize in waffles serve. It wasn't light, crispy, airy, or even had specks of caramelized sugar throughout the waffle. It was probably just from premix and doughy and soft. I'm sad to say my husband makes better waffles at home. The worst part was that they were heavy and dense and actually soggy at the bottom because they allowed it to sorta steam heat and it wasn't crispy to begin with and the heat just broke down the structure. No one wants soggy waffles. These were the same waffles in the Boss sandwich which had egg, bacon, sausage, and cheese. The ingredients were generous but the waffles (which should have been the star) made it a soggy bad sandwich. It was also bland, but you can add syrup, ketchup, or Cholula hot sauce to it, but it made the sogginess worse. They upcharge you 4% if you don't use cash, and at average price of $4 for a waffle and $7 for the sandwich, it's pretty pricey. I understand and support local family owned businesses but when the food isn't good, it doesn't matter how cute the decor is, and it is cute in here. I love that businesses are trying new things here in El Paso but I just think that the execution of the food might be better so that they will have repeat clients and people will make the trek to get amazing waffles. It's just my opinion, but coming from Bruxie and Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles, I know that a great waffle will get a business far. We were welcomed by one of the owners and the menu and drinks selection were explained to us. All the syrups used in the lattes are homemade. I tried a delicious honey lavender latte and ordered a mollete. My husband had the pozole. We shared an ube chocolate cake that was deliciously moist and flavorful! The restaurant was beautifully styled and every wall had art that made you think you were in a mini art gallery! I would definitely recommend coming here for coffee and brunch! A unique thing about this restaurant is that it's plates and cups are all handmade and offer a unique vibe to the food!

I really wanted the mole sampler but they currently only have their breakfast/ lunch menu and no mole. Ended up with the Lions Mane Mushrooms Taco which was very flavorufl and had the most delicious salsa with it (pour it all over for sure!) and also their very delicious, rich and flavorful three sisters green pozole. They make the dishes they serve the food in and there was a heart in the bottom of the bowl. I enjoyed looking at the art they have hanging on the walls. The service was simple, order at counter. Very vegan/ vegetarian friendly spot. They have an espresso machine and various creative drinks which I didn't try. I'd be curious to try their mole one day if they make it in the future and I happen upon there again.

It once you do find it, I think you'll be satisfied with the list of fresh options you have to choose from. Given the name, most of their sandwiches (breakfast and lunch) are served on croissants or you can opt for a pita wrap. They also serve a variety waffle items and fresh salads. So if you are looking to eat healthy, or satisfy your sweet tooth, you have options. They also serve up a variety of teas, flavored lemonades, and iced, hot or frappe coffees. This was my first visit and d cider on having the turkey with panela cheese croissant. You can choose a side salad, veggies straws or sea salt chips as a side item of you order the combo that also includes a drink. The sandwich was delicious, fresh and light and the salad was also fresh and plentiful. I ordered three separate drinks to try: cucumber lemonade, strawberry lemonade, and the matcha frappe. They were all made fresh with fresh ingredients and not overly sweet like you would find a most other places. I wanted to try their waffle with banana and Nutella but unfortunately they were out, but that's okay because now I have another Eason to come back and try something else. The person working (I assume it's the owner) was very kind and respectful and the only other patron in the restaurant had nothing but nice things to say about all the food on the menu and that they are always eating at this place. So if you're looking for lighter fare options and happen to be in the area, or are just looking for an afternoon getaway, I recommend you stop and give this place a try and support local!
