After hearing about this great salad place called Verde on a Facebook foodie group, I figured I'd give it a shot and I'm glad I did! This place is great! Over the course of a week & a half, I've visited three times (the Zaragoza location that doesn't seem to appear on Yelp) and haven't been disappointed yet. Visit #1 I ordered the Spicy Taco Salad with the recommended ancho ranch dressing & arrachera steak. Delicious! The steak was super tasty and so tender I cut it with my fork! Highly recommended. Also tried the chicken tortilla soup and this was a BIG hit! One of the best tortilla soups I've had. Yummy! Visit #2 I ordered the Buffalo Salad with the recommended buttermilk ranch & crispy Buffalo chicken. Very good also but the bar was set super high with the spicy taco salad and this wasn't as good in my opinion. Still, I will probably get it again at some point & recommend it. Also tried the beef stew which did not disappoint. Lots of veggies and big chunks of lean, tender, tasty beef. A good choice on a chilly day. Visit #3 I ordered the Asian Grain Bowl with the recommended sesame sriracha dressing & crispy teriyaki chicken. Different from the salads with the rice, quinoa and cabbage base but just as tasty. Another really good option offered on the menu. Also tried the chicken zoodle (zucchini noodles) soup and its good too but in my opinion comes in third to the tortilla soup & beef stew. All of these meals have the option to pair with with a very refreshing cucumber lemonade or a sun brewed lemon tea. I'm glad to have Verde as an option for a healthier lunch and look forward to trying more of their menu options.

I've searched & searched for a quality salad place in El Paso with hardly any luck, until a friend recommended this place. I am so glad they did! The restaurant itself absolutely adorable. Totally the place you want to meet up with your girlfriends for a bite post workout (or shopping). If you're not meeting up with friends, you can stop in and order your meal or easily place a to-go order online for curbside pickup or takeout. Their meal portions are generous. Every time I have ordered from Verde, I've been able to split my order into at least two meals. My favorite is the sesame sriracha salad. Delicious!

Banh Mi Salad Bowl with Shrimp

Hello freshness! Every single ingredient here looked so beautifully fresh and perfect! I ordered the Bahn Mi salad bowl with lemon pepper shrimp ($5 extra), per recommendation. Every bite was flavor perfection! The salad was huge (I couldn't finish it in one sitting) and there was ample shrimp, literally I almost had a shrimp in every bite... well worth that 5 bucks. The staff here was extremely friendly. I feel like they actually care about their work, which seems hard to come by these days. I will be back. Thank you!

As a salad lover, I had passed by this place many times but never visited. I don't hear or see them too often. I guess they don't do much advertising. I finally stopped in and will definately be back. The place was open, clean, and fresh. The menu variety was a nice and the food on the bar was very healthy and fresh looking. That was my favorite part. It was all very clean, very healthy, and very fresh. I had the Al Pastor salad which was not my favorite but I will be back to try them all.

I came here for lunch with my mom today to try and feel good by eating a salad. As a first timer Verde Salad wasn't so bad. I did take off one star because apparently they changed their menu. I wanted seared yellow fin tuna from what I saw on their old menu on yelp but come to find out they only have "wild caught" salmon now as a fish selection. They need to bring back the seared tuna again. Well, my mom ordered her salad with shrimp on her Bánh mi bowl and I had the wild salmon on my sesame sriracha bowl. I'll be honest the salad bowls are HUGE and they are definitely delicious. The girls making the salads were very polite and seemed to be hustling to make salads for their customers following all sanitary measures. To add to our salads we got the chicken tortilla soup and it was to die for delicious!!! I can't really say much of their lemonade tea because in my opinion it was very bland.... but others may find the lemon tea quiet pleasant. I will for sure be coming back to Verde in the future.

I discovered this place on Uber Eats. I was craving something healthy and their menu pictures looked yummy. You pick a salad which already comes with the recommend dressing on the side - approx. $8, and then you add a protein which is around $3-5. So you're spending around $13 for a salad. I'm not gonna lie, it's a little pricey, yes. Especially when you're used to salad buffets - which are almost nonexistent since this whole pandemic started. Anyway, it's all good because the salad is huge, and the protein amount is a big amount (I can only speak for chicken, I haven't tried the other proteins from here yet). I am a foodie, listen to me when I tell you that this salad is so big, it's hard to finish. I have tried the farmhouse salad with pesto chicken, the Buffalo bowl salad with grilled Buffalo chicken, and the Buffalo bowl salad with crispy Buffalo chicken. My favorite is the Buffalo bowl with crispy Buffalo chicken, because you get to satisfy that hot wing crave, while also stuffing your face with greens. I especially love that the salad is fresh. The greens are crisp, the veggies are not soggy or mushy. The variety in the salad is great, and the added crunch gives great texture. If you want to eat healthy, but think salads are boring, try this place out. If it's too pricey, send me a message and I'll give you my Uber eats promo code. Or if you're an existing member, keep an eye on your inbox for promos from Uber eats. Give this place a try, and I'm sure you'll order again afterwards. I'm thinking of trying the Sesame Sriracha salad with crispy teriyaki chicken, to satisfy my Chinese food craving l.

This place is so good! I came here expecting to get a salad, I didn't know I would have so many options and they also have grain bowls and so many toppings to choose from. They also have vegetarian/vegan options available, I customized my own bowl with zoodles, quinoa and brown rice, from there I choose up to 5 toppings!!! can you believe it? I went wild with it, you may not know what to chose though they have so many options. And then your protein: chicken (no gmo) in different presentations, fish, tuna, salmon, tofu, etc. They also have around 10 different dressings that you can chose from, I also ordered a red bell pepper soup which tasted like mom's hug; you can chose chicken tortilla soup or chicken noodle soup as well. They have cucumber lemonade and other drinking options. You have to visit them you get satisfied and not guilty at all because the options are healthy and you don't have to cheat on your diet, at least not here! :) And the price totally accessible, my big bowl and a cup of soup came around $13.00 SIGN ME UP!!

We had wonderful meals of BBQ, Southern, American and Mexican food but we started to miss our Ramen meals back home. This place was great. Ot had a youthful, edgy vibe with cozy and nice colorful decor. We ordered the Thicc Boi and Birria Ramen, and ordered sides of the Thai Peanut Cucumber Salad, and Pork buns. The salad was a nice appetizer. We wished we had this back home. The dressing tasted peanutty with black sesame seeds and a nice acid balance. Kaemada's Ramen has El Paso influences. The broth had full bodied flavor, the meat was cut thicker with grilled char! Please also try the Birrea Ramen! We eat Birria broth and tacos at home and this ramen bowl was a great marriage of the 2 dishes. The thick cut and grilled char feature was also included in the pork bun. It was so tasty and satisfying with the thick pork cut, which I often thought was too thin anyways in the original version. They took the best El Paso meat flavor and Japanese presentation influences to make Kaemada's dish unique and their own. Don't expect the delicate and refined dashi broth Japan has. Be open to the bold flavors of the pork and broth. Expect a Southwest and Japanese fusion of robust and evolved flavors. Personally, I like firm noodles so request it cooked this way. Izzy, our server was friendly and attentive. She made our meal there more pleasant. Don't forget to order the Yuzu Cheesecake, light and not so sweet with a strong presence of Yuzu. A great finish to our meal. 10/10.

The dishes were very well made, as if the owners were preparing them for themselves. We could tell a lot of care went into preparing them. I ordered Gom Bibim. The dish was visually pleasing and delicious. The flavor of the noodles was light. Often, the noodles in bibim kooksoo are drenched in sauce. These were prepared just right. The bedding of mixed greens were very fresh and paired nicely with the spicy noodles. My daughter ordered Gom Tang. The dish was good. The broth was a bit saltier than the traditional gom tang. She said that the egg was good. My sister-in-law ordered Gom Ramen. She said that it hit the spot. Delicious! We also ordered mandoo. They were served with a light kochojang sauce, and were hot and crispy. I highly recommend this restaurant. We are in town for the BTS concert.
