The lady who waited on us was extremely friendly and even helped me with the pronunciation of Fresa LOL. The store is super cute. Not a lot of traffic in the place, but certainly a steady flow of customers. My kids enjoyed the "Labubu" cookies, I enjoyed an amazing tasting lemon poppy original donut. I soaked it with a nitro cold brew with a green cream foam - called the Baby Yoda. It was really good. I'm looking forward to the next visit, the next coffee, and the next donut.

The cream cake was a strawberry crepe masterpiece...layer upon layer of diced strawberries and an almost-savory cream cheese filling. We were warmly greeted and immediately seduced by the lovely scent of fresh baked pastries. While indoor space is limited with only three tables, covered seating out front provided a nice space. High functioning boba tea shop…read more.. We had a great time prepping to pick up the kids from school. We had some time to kill and stopped here at the location on Montana. Glad we did. The options are plenty. They have icy sweet milk teas, mixed fruit, single fruit teas, plushies and smoothies. They have snacks and souvenirs, too. The ambiance was very chill. They had pop country on, that gave that chill vibe. It was cool to just relax in their couches while sipping on some tea. At 3:30ish, the place is well lit and has plenty of places to sit, from loungers to high tops. If you look, you will see plenty of signs that encourage smiling :) The shop is part of a strip mall, that has its own lot. The staff was friendly and efficient at getting our drink and the folks that stopped by to pick up their boba. I recommend.

There were plenty of outlets around, so no awkward hovering near a wall like a tech-dependent houseplant. I ordered a coconut latte with oat milk, and it was genuinely good. The booth was also dangerously comfortable with the cushioned bench situation. Very easy to convince yourself you're being productive when really you've just found a socially acceptable place to sit for three hours. Customer service was kind, low-key, and pleasantly quiet. The space stayed pretty peaceful most of the time, so if you need silence to study, this is a solid find. I personally need a little more background chaos to keep my brain entertained, but that is very much a me problem. I'd still come back for the latte, the outlets, and the suspiciously comfortable booth.

Alright spot for bites and drinks…read more I dropped by with a friend to catch up around 11:30am. Interior was small but bright and there's WiFi available and outlets, if you want to try and get a longer stay in. A downside is you'll definitely hear conversations from other groups with how tight the cafe is. Staff there was very relaxed, and it took quite a while for our order especially as only a single person was staffing the cafe. Luckily we weren't in a rush and it was a nice spot to hang out in. I got a strawberry coconut cloud and my friend got a coconut latte. My strawberry coconut cloud was chilled and refreshing. Vaguely strawberry at the top, and mostly a watery liquid on the bottom half. I don't think I would get it again. My friend's coconut latte was far better: latte with a coconut foam top and coconut bits. It worked well overall and tasted great. We shared a butter cake, which was doused in a honey like syrup and very one note (honey/sweet) but paired well with the drinks. I feel like I missed out on their star: the Yemeni selection. If I'm here again, I would definitely try their coffee instead.

Having recently moved to El Paso from Montréal, a city teeming with quality pastry shops…read more(especially french pâtisseries), I was on the lookout for a competent pastry shop here in town as soon as I landed. My first discovery was Belle Sucre, which, while struggling ever so slightly with actual french pastries (and french grammar, "sucre," a masculine noun, being "beau," not "belle"), excels at putting a french twist on american desserts. My second discovery was Orange Peel, a pastry shop that could stand toe-to-toe with Montreal's more eclectic (and less traditional) pastry shops (e.g., Pâtisserie Rhubarbe), were it to spontaneously relocate there. Inside this diminutive (but oh so quaint) pastry shop stands a refrigerated glass display filled with triple-threat confections that a) are simultaneously playful and homey in appearance, b) demonstrate exquisite texture (a feat made all the more surprising by the fact that many of the confections are gluten-free), and c) feature creatively combined and expertly balanced flavours that bring into play natural aromas and just enough sweetness. (Indeed, in a rare show of restraint for an american dessert establishment, sweetness is here kept on a leash, letting instead aromas come to the forefront of the flavour experience.) Although pastries on offer change regularly, they always come across as completely thought-through and carefully put-together, as if the recipes had been worked on and perfected over years. Indeed, there is an effortless quality to how the one single chef behind Orange Peel comes up with and executes new recipes, one that testifies to the extent of her pastry passion, knowledge, and skills. To top it all off, she is extremely friendly and always a joy to talk to and discuss her work with. Fortement recommandé!
