Food: I was super surprised to enjoy BOTH my meals... ordered the salad with chicken- BOMB. The Gyro- super greasy but delicious! Service: the young lady at the counter was super kind and patient Ambiance: was empty, which was concerning at first, but after inhaling my food- didn't care how empty it was! If I return to EP, will definitely be eating here again read more

I went at an off peak time. I was greeted and served immediately. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was fresh, and there was so much meat I couldn't close the wrap! Don't worry, I used a fork. Will be coming here again. Inside has a fast food type atmosphere. Sit where ever you want and wait for your number to be called. Very spacious. read more

Urban Gyros - Beef Gyro - Falafel Near Me - El Paso, Texas

Food is great. Falafel platter, gyro burger & fried shrimp all exceeded expectations. Restrooms need serious attention. Both were filthy with no toilet paper and no soap. It seems they are shared by other businesses in the building, but they were un-useable. The restaurant itself is sparkling clean, but people may judge the poor state of the bathrooms. read more

Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5 Value: 4.5/5 A very chill order at the counter and seat yourself atmosphere. While I thought the food was a bit expensive, I quickly changed my mind when it came out. There was so much food, and they didn't skimp out on meat or veggies. I would definitely recommend the urban or white sauce on your bowl, as it added a nice creaminess to the otherwise drier textures. Great for a road trip meal, strongly recommend! read more

Urban Gyros - Combo Bowl (Gyro & Chicken ) with Pita - Falafel Near Me - El Paso, Texas

Service was abysmal. Dude with beard and tattoos hated his job didn't greet back after I said Hi. If you hate your job that much switch.

Urban gyros is now one of my favorite spots in El Paso! It's so hard to find decent ethnic food out here and I'm glad that we know there is a good Greek option now! My husband and I tried Urban Gyros for the first time today. Surprisingly the place was empty for it being a Saturday afternoon. I'd think with how good their food is that they'd be more busy. Nonetheless, we were excited to try their chicken bowl with white and red sauce. I also wanted to try their loaded queso fries with the white and red sauce as well. The guy working the register was friendly and helpful with any questions we had regarding their menu and sizes of their meals. I'd definitely say that the bowl and fries were more than enough for my husband and I to share. Next time I definitely want to try their gyros! We will be back in the future, for sure. The wait wasn't too bad, all of the food tasted very fresh. Both my husband and I agreed that Urban Gyros is one of the best spots we've tried so far out here in El Paso! Five stars for delicious food and good, quick service! read more

Food is excellent. Service was great. Only thing missing is beer. Would definitely comeback again...

We were on a road trip and stopped by Urban Gyros for a quick dinner. We were quite impressed by the portion size & the generous amount of meat! We got the bowl which comes with rice, lettuce, tomatoes, onions and jalapeños upon request. I got the urban (cucumber yogurt) and green sauce (which isn't that spicy). The portion sizes were so large we were able to take home the rest for a second meal! Great for a quick hearty meal. read more

Urban Gyros - Bowl - Falafel Near Me - El Paso, Texas

So worth the drive across town. My favorite is Gyro w chicken and orange and Urban sauce. Love it sauce. Service is freshly cooked and the restaurant is clean and inviting. Great place for everyone to come and enjoy together. Slap Burger are just as good, but I always try to eat the healthiest possible. The sauces make the experience. Try them all. read more

Urban Gyros - Menu Board - Falafel Near Me - El Paso, Texas

I really wanted to like this place but I wouldn't go back. First off it took 20 minutes to get one gyro and an order if fries and there was nobody else there on a Saturday at 11:30 am. I noticed the cook was making burgers for patrons next door. Several staff walking back and forth like they had no idea what they were doing. Is it a gyro place or a burger place. The cook looked aggravated. When the food came there was a lot of lettuce, tomato and onion. The onions were pickled and very sour. Couldn't eat them. When I found the chicken it was chopped very small but the seasoning was odd tasting. I couldn't eat it. And the pita was dry with an odd smell as well as if they stored it with other food. Fries were good though. Not a great experience. Sorry. read more

Yummy. This place was great for my first time. And they taught me how to pronounce it! lol

The place was completely empty and the food was good, but the employee was a little rude. I asked if they have any sauces like Tahini and he said no. And I asked "you don't have any sauces?" And he rudely told me "tahini" and "tzatziki " are different. Well, no sh*t Sherlock, I misspoke...sorry. You know what I wanted the "white sauce" dude lol read more

Ordered the chicken bowl and it was amazing! The flavor of the rice was terrific and the chicken was not overcooked or over seasoned. I was not expecting the deliciousness that I was served and am impressed. Thank you for an excellent dinner Urban Gyros ! I will be back! read more

We had originally driven out to this side of town for PokeBar, but they were slow to open and we were in a rush. We'd been eyeing Urban Gyros since they opened and decided today was the day to give them a shot. They offer bowls, gyros and salads with your selection of protein with numerous veggies included. You choose a sauce, which was only described by level of heat and not flavor. Husband ordered double beef gyro with orange sauce as well as the (overpriced) hummus with two pita. The cost was in the mid-$20s. The pita with the hummus was great, warm and fluffy. However, the hummus itself was dry and bland. Luckily since we were eating at home we do kick it up with some lemon juice and garlic and that helped tremendously. The gyro... was even less impressive. The "double meat" wasn't worth the extra $5 for the small amount extra you got. After asking staff about the sauce, we decided on the orange sauce, which was the second hottest. Unfortunately once we got home, we found the gyro covered in sauce, which lived up to being hot... but virtually flavorless. It was just pain with no payoff. Do not recommend returning. read more

Doesn't look like much when you walk past it but I am surprised with the taste of the food. We were passing through Elpaso and were looking for some place with vegan options and this didn't disappoint us The falafel was great and they have some good number of dressings to choose from. The staff were accommodating. Overall quick pick up spot or a quick dine in spot. read more

If you're looking for a traditional gyro to sooth the cravings, this ain't it. It's like the Chipotle of Greek food. Not bad, but not what I wanted when I sought out gyros. The food itself isn't bad. Options are plentiful. The loaded fries were very filling on their own. read more

Good food, good flavor and it is a comforting food. I do recommend this place. It's a bit pricey, but it's not that bad. Thank you.

Tried their loaded urban gyro fries and the gyro+chicken bowl. The fries were well done, well packed and had excellent flavor. They were good size and will fill you up; recommend to share them. The gyro plus chicken bowl is decent size and had the gyro meat. My favorite would be the gyro meat; the chicken was slightly on the dry side, however would definitely try more items. At this time looking forward to try other menu items. read more

Service 10/10 Food 9/10 Nice, clean, urban vibes. It's not completely authentic Greek, more like a fast food kind, but it's pretty darn good for like an Americanized version of gyros. Love the variety of sauces they offer. Really nice guy caught his mistake in accidentally overcharging us so he refunded it while we were waiting for our food before we even realized we had been overcharged. My husband loved the gyro bowl (comes with rice) and my gyro was pretty good. Definitely going back for more. read more

It def satisfied the craving but I think there could be improvement with service. It was my first time so I didn't know how the menu worked employees weren't super helpful. They should really add a combo meal like wrap with fries. Overall my meal was good. The Greek yogurt topping & onions are delish! Def try the baklava too. read more

This place is decent. It's not bad - it's not great, though either. Relatively simple menu with bowls, salads, and gyros, with your different choices of meats. The toppings of lettuce(, tomato, and onion were not the freshest but they were okay. I his place has friendly staff, ample seating, good pricing, and the food was out quick - so over all would return! read more

Finally had a chance to drop by - this place has been open about 3 weeks now. Fortunately I was not disappointed with my dinner selection! Ordered the Gyro combo with white sauce (poblano ranch) and green sauce (green chile aioli). The combo came with waffle fries and a drink. The beef and lamb mix for the gyro was really good, very tasty and plentiful! Lots of lettuce, tomato, onion and cucumbers included in the warm, soft pita bread. The waffle fries came in a container the size of a small personal pizza - lots of them and they're good! Hopeful to try the chicken, falafel and other options in the future. The hummus side is on my list for the next visit! read more

Arrived at Urban Gyro mid afternoon and at first glance was really pleased with the cleanness of the place. Got our drinks and ordered the beef and lamb gyros and fries which you have to buy apart. My husband and I ordered the same, two cokes and a Topo Chico and spent $39 dollars, so the price is a bit steep. The food tastes good and fresh, the tzatziki sauce is not the best I've had but if you are craving a gyro it does the trick ! read more

Finished it off with a drizzle of tzatziki sauce. I always end up full when I'm done and never disappointed. read more

Pretty good food and service here at Urban Gyros! I was a little bit bummed out that they didn't have any chicken strips available. They asked me if they could give me grilled chicken instead and I said that was fine. That's a little bit healthier anyway? I ordered the food through the Yelp app and they called me to let me know about the strips, which I appreciated. My food was ready when I got there which was another plus. I also ordered a chicken gyro, falafel and fries. The food probably tastes better if you eat it there in the restaurant. The food didn't travel too well to the other side of town to the westside. I had my doggy with me so I couldn't eat it there. The fries and gyro got soggy. Maybe it would've been better if the white sauce in the gyro was on the side rather than on top of it? I didn't even think of that when I ordered the food! I asked them not to add onions to the gyro and they didn't. You'd be surprised with how many places don't listen to that one! The falafel was really good, especially with the green sauce. I believe the two sauces I got for the meal were poblano ranch and green chile aioli. They were both really good. They were creamy and tasty. They weren't spicy at all for me. I have a very high tolerance for spicy food. It really takes a lot for any chile to be spicy for me. Anyway...The falafel was my favorite out of the entire meal. It was crunchy and had a nice flavor and texture. It sort of reminds me of a hush puppie but better and healthier! The gyro was alright, even if it was too soggy for me. The chicken and sauce were both flavorful. It had plenty of tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce in it. I couldn't eat the whole thing. I got full after taking a few bites of it. The prices are not cheap but not super expensive, either. I would say they're about average with the way things are going right now (buying groceries has become a bit expensive these days!). Overall, a good experience! They also offer several desserts like ice cream, crepes and more. I'm trying to limit my sugar intake so that was a no no for me this time around. All of the desserts on the menu looked good, though. I think I would give Urban Gyros another try. Next time I would have to eat it there or at least ask for the sauce to be on the side. read more

I was expecting a bit more from this place. It's more of a chicken kitchen or chopped chicken and salad place. The cucumber sauce tasted like straight ranch or just a cream sauce. It was kinda pricey. I paid 43 bucks for 2 meals. It gives more of a fast food place to have that kinda cost. I wasn't impressed. I wish I was. I do like chicken over rice places very much usually. read more

OMG El Paso has been in DIRE need of a Gyro joint (non-Arbys division) for almost a decade since the place on Cincinnati St closed and I'm really happy that Urban Gyros opened near me and that it is yummy, Eastside in da house! First and foremost, Urban Gyros is not a franchise chain, it is in-fact local, #ElPasoStrong, which isn't a big a deal unleash you're some hipster, which I am not, I was just into local restaurants before it was cool, you probably haven't heard of them. Anyhow, the place does have a pieology-y vibe, that's why asked of they were local. The Gyros are great: good meats, amazeballs bread, and tzatziki sauce on point. The waffle fries are also fantastic, I tried them plain and I'm looking forward to checking them out loaded. I've been keeping an eye on this location for a while, savoring the Gyros and I'm happy they are finally open, I recommend checking them out. read more

I ordered the chicken gyro. The pita/flatbread was soo soft and perfect. Plenty of food on on 1 gyro. I also ordered a side of fries. Not a fan of seasoned fries but just a personal preference. The serving of that was a good amount. Only reason not giving it a full 5 stars is the they do not have fresh brewed iced tea. I gotta have me my iced tea!!! Will be back though! read more
