So my wife and I are out running some errands and felt like having a Sammie and some soup and I've never been here so gave it a try. So glad we did. My wife ordered a grilled chicken pesto panini with a tortilla soup and i had the meatball with a chicken pot pie soup. My wife really enjoyed both her sandwich and soup, which she let me try and very tasty soup. My sammich was good but needed more marinara sauce to be honest, but the soup was so good. The only bummer was the chips, they were ehhh, just plain Jane ruffles type chips. We would have appreciated some variety of chips like elsewhere. A good note to end on though was the free soft serve ice cream, my wife really enjoyed that. In EP for a few days and didn't want Mexican food but did want delivery. I tried Jason's Deli since the menu looked viable and the delivery fee was not too bad. I enjoyed the caprese sandwich which really was quite good. The tomatoe soup was ok. I would order from them again due to quick delivery and ease of ordering. A full sandwich with hot corned beef and pastrami topped with melted Swiss cheese on marble rye. This sandwich was a monster! This is the second time that this has happened to me. And also, they left my soup sitting on the counter getting cold for a very long time. I finally had to go get up and get it myself. They also never delivered my daughter's food. I actually had to get up and go inquire whether or not they were going to give her her food . I like coming here for lunch. This place is spacious so you'll never have to wait for getting seated. Also I like that they never take too long for cooking. It's very important when you have a limited lunch time! Santa Fe sandwich is great! Chicken is tender and has a little bit of smokey flavor. If you get the half lunch special, you can get a soup as a side. Their salad bar is awesome too! Aaaand they have free ice cream.. I went here 2 days ago for the first time and it was so good I returned today. I like the Italian Cruz Po'Boy, ham and salami with lots of veggies for a reasonable $7.49. Got a salad bar both times and it will be one of the main reasons that I will keep coming here. TONS of salad bar selections and everything is very fresh for $6.89. You can upgrade the salad bar to all-you-can-eat for $3.00 more but I don't know why you'd want to, you can fill up a bowl in one pass and they also give you a small plate for potato salad or pasta. Great fountain drink selection ($3.09) including several kinds of iced tea and refills are free. Tried the Las Cruces restaurant as well maybe 5 months ago and it was just as good. SIDE NOTE: The Italian Cruz Po'Boy was the cheapest sandwich on the menu; their higher end sandwiches go for somewhere around $11 or $12 so if you get a salad bar and a drink also it can get a bit pricey. Came to lunch with family and after the Christmas indulgence behaved with salad bar and tortilla soup. My girlfriend had the Papa Verde and son hot dog with fruit. The salad bar was clean and the only protein in the bar was bacon and hard boiled eggs. You had many dressings and fixings such as pudding, egg salad. Muffins. The potato had avocado, green jalapeno dressing, spinach and turkey. The hot dog was a hot dog. The salad bar items were fresh. The building was clean and bathrooms immaculate. Though I've lived in cities with Jason's Deli before, I'm not very familiar with this chain, but as always I'm happy when chains that are new to El Paso come to town. For my first Jason's Deli experience I chose to try a Reuben (Reuben The Great), as it is the sandwich I judge all delis by, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The first thing I noticed is that the sandwich looked just like in the pictures, which almost never happens anywhere, it was absolutely stacked with yummy corned beef and sauerkraut, and the best part is that the sandwich didn't fall apart as I bit into it. I can honestly say its the best Reuben I've had in El Paso. Another great feature of this place is the free soft-serve, FREE SOFT SERVE! Plus free wi-fi, FREE WI-FI! The folks working there are very friendly and helpful. Right now the lines are a little long because the place is new, but the line moved quickly and you won't wait a long time for your meal. There's plenty of seating space in the dining room, so please don't be the jerk that goes and takes a table while someone else orders the food, you may think you're clever, but everyone else secretly hates you. What a huge disappointment! I ordered the mgrs special 1/2 beefeater sandwich w/Mac n cheese & pot pie soup. The bread was hard & the beef was so dry & no flavor. The mac n cheese was worse than the box kind & the soup tasted like it was from a can. Yes, it was that bad! My son ordered the full beefeater sandwich & could not even come close to finishing it because it was so bad. The Irish potato soup had a strange taste we could not identify. I've been coming here since they opened and I must say, its pretty good. I order the same thing, why change a good thing. The managers special, a half California club croissant sandwich, a bowl of French onion soup and upgrade to the salad bar for an extra $1. Its pretty filling! They have great options at the salad bar and they offer free muffins and ice cream to everyone, pretty nice of them. I certainly appreciate that they offer a 10% military discount as well, any place that can honor our military is alright in my book. If I had to change one thing, in my opinion the French onion soup has too much sodium, it needs to be toned down a bit. Worth going to. Fresh deli style sandwiches with an assortment of breads to choose from. I wouldn't call this restaurant a health nut's joint but it definitely has a lot of healthy options. I ordered the Pastrami on Rye and wasn't disappointed. (Husband and I are a bit of Pastrami Sandwiches fans and we know the difference between a good one and bad.) The Pastrami was shaved thin the way pastrami (for sandwiches) should be and was flavorful and juicy. Definitely order the fruit plate with creamy dip (yum). Plump, juicy, and sweet strawberries, pineapple, and grapes are delivered to your table with that yummy creamy sauce to dunk 'em in. I skipped the chips entirely and just dove into the fruit plate. Free Ice cream with purchase. :-) Great location as it's a hop-skip-and-a-jump from Tinseltown. Kids menu (ages 12 and under) had a good selection. I don't usually get infuriated by lack of professionalism but this restaurant lost all my respect. I will never be ordering from this location again. I was told my order was going to be delivered between 30-45 minutes. My order came after I waited 1 hour and 30 minutes. I called three times and on the third time I talked to a manager. I was told at the hour mark (my second call) that my order was 10 minutes away. But on my third call (1h 20m) the cashier told me the driver left 5-10 minutes ago. A lie. I was transferred to a manager and he told me the GM took my order and was delivering it himself. Close to an hour and a half wait I finally got my food along with excuses as to why it was late. He then offered to waive my $5 delivery fee on my next order. I told him that if it was only $5 redemptive value on an almost $40 order that didn't matter. I was fine. Until I opened my food. I ordered a California club with Broccoli and cheese soup. My girlfriend and roommate ordered two beefeaters. My sandwich had a stale croissant breading, hardened Swiss cheese and my soup was gelatinous. Absolutely disgusting. My girlfriend and roommate had to reheat their sandwiches because they were COLD. Never again will I order from this location. Not only do they not have proper delivery etiquette but they apparently also have no competent process of conflict resolution at their location. I will continue my business elsewhere or at the fountains location. My order total was $37 plus tip. Never again. read more

Wanted a quick lunch yesterday, so I stopped by this location close to the office. It's been over two years since I've been to a Jason's Deli, and I remembered they had a good salad bar. Decided to have the salad bar + bowl of soup with a water, paid about $10. The bowl of soup I chose was the gumbo, which was an average deli quality recipe. I wasn't too impressed nor was it bad, it was just average. The salad bar was kept clean and fresh, only made about one trip. It also wasn't too impressive or bad, just average. The entire location was clean, staff friendly, and it wasn't too busy when I dropped by around 1. The worst Jason's deli I've been to, but it is still really good compared to all other restaurants salad bars. The salad bar wasn't as well tended to, they ran out of silverware, and I had to ask for the container of balsamic vinegar to be refilled. They gave us plastic forks, got me a new bottle of vinegar, and tried to be most accomadating. This is a great place to sit down and eat or take it to go. They offer free wifi. The food is very fresh and prepared nicely. Im a fan of the salmon sandwich and the salad bar. Good for healthy low fat eating. My husband tried the cowboy sandwich and loved it. Im not too fond of the seafood gumbo, it was really salty and didn't have enough meat. We went to Jason's Deli because we knew they had great salads. On the salad bar they served hard boiled eggs that were uncut. We asked for a knife to cut them and they would not give us a knife. We then asked if they would mind cutting the egg up so we could put it on top of our salad. They acted as if we had asked to date their daughter. I know the customer is always right at some places but obviously not here. Food was great employees were very rude this establishment needs to work on their hiring procedures so that they can try to be a little more like chick-fil-a with good service. This place is quite nice. Open atmosphere and friendly staff. I like that they have free wifi because this is a good place to get some work done. The wifi speed is damn good compared to other free wifi hotspots (about 2.5Mbps). Power outlets were difficult to locate. I found one in the booth seating (straight ahead when u walk in). I ordered the Santa Fe Chicken Sandwich and it was delicious. Only downside of my meal was that the potato chips seemed to just be bought. Some good, homemade potato chips would go very well here.
