Half of my Crabcake eggs Benedict
    Wendy S.

We had some errands to handle and then started the hunt for brunch/lunch options. After reading reviews, Grove Brunch Cafe rose to the top of our choices. Once again it's the mom, dad and me trio! We started with calamari and sadly, it came out overcooked. When the coating is dark brown, the possibility of being overcooked is more of a reality. The sauce for the calamari was flavorful and a nice accent. It was an ok appetizer, and the next time I would just ask them to make sure to not overdo the cooking time. I asked about their OJ and it is freshly squeezed - and it was delicious. Not super sweet and very good. Mom got the spinach garlic pasta and dad and I both ordered crab cakes Benedict. I stayed with poached eggs and my dad did over easy eggs. The Crab-cake would not make it as a stand alone item (my history is growing up in Maryland and California, so anything crab is going to face a huge challenge) but it was spot on in the combo. I'm not a tomato fan, so I should have asked them to leave that off, but my dad liked his. Now let's talk house potatoes. YUMMY! The suggestion I would make is cut your potatoes thinner so there are more crispy little ones. But that's a preference thing - I like 'em crispy! Mom's pasta was good. It had Roma tomatoes not sun dried, and she wanted sun dried tomatoes (that's what was on the menu). That was a big miss for her. But the spinach noodles were cooked just right and the asparagus was tiny stems and good.

Visited Grove Brunch Café with my family while we were in El Paso visiting relatives, and we were really impressed. The food was really good, like surprisingly good. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meal, and my husband is still talking about his chicken and waffles, he already hopes we can come back again. The service was pretty good, and our server was really friendly. Making a reservation was super easy, though it wasn't very busy when we went, so it probably wasn't necessary. Still, the food came out fresh and everything tasted great. I personally loved my meal, it had such a great flavor. Overall, it was a great brunch spot with tasty food, good service, and a chill vibe. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in town.

After almost five months away, we returned with high hopes. Unfortunately, consistency fell short--different servers each day. I ordered a lavender latte, but it arrived plain. The server did bring me some lavender syrup on the side. The chilaquiles were dry, with barely any sauce buried at the bottom... i had to dig through to find what seemed like MAYBE 2 tablespoons of green sauce. We didn't add chicken, because nearly $8 extra felt like California pricing in El Paso. For the cost, it was underwhelming. We hope they refine consistency and attention to detail--there's potential here.

We stopped in here on the way to the airport. I don't eat much for breakfast and prefer more of a brunch time, but our flight didn't allow for that. There were so many good things on the menu! They were all hearty and I knew I wouldn't be able to eat it all. We got there shortly after they opened and there were only a few people there. By the time we left, it was much busier. The hostess and our server were both very friendly. Two of us ordered lattes and my husband got black coffee. The lattes were great but my husband said the coffee was pretty bad. As expected, the portions were huge and none of us could finish our meals! It's a cute place and they do have some outdoor seating. I'd go back!

The food is amazing, a good fusion of Italian, Asian, Mexican and normal brunch offerings. It was kinda full so the wait was longer but we decided to stay at the heated patio.

While staying at the nearby Towne Place hotel, we were looking for a better breakfast than the basic food provided by the hotel. The Grove was perfect. Their coffee is light and smooth. Their salmon egg Benedict was so good yesterday that I am trying the regular pork belly Benedict today to compare! To the folks that complain about service, was this during the weekend? Because on the weekdays, we got perfect and friendly service.

Food was great. My ribeye was cooked perfectly at a medium-rare (a little salty), sweet potatoes and over easy eggs were a great combination. Our cappuccinos were yummy and cute and my husband's pancakes were nice a fluffy. It was a cute and quiet place for brunch. I loved the decorations and our waitress was friendly and attentive. It was a bit pricier but worth the occasional treat.

I have been to this restaurant at several locations. The brunch is excellent. The pancakes and waffles are very good. The potatoes are amazing. People have complained that this place is always crowded but when I have gone there, I've never experienced that.

Chill vibe. Love the bar level seating for our large party. Friendly servers, and their salmon bagel is to die for. Customers for life!

Not sure why I've only posted one photo from here - I've been here a few times already…read more Without being redundant, it's a Sunny's Sushi. Not a chain (nationally), but a well known "chain" here in El Paso as I feel they now have 5 locations? The service is great as always, Sunny's runs a tight ship usually. The ambiance is "typical" Sunny's, just a tad more modern as this is their newest location. Food is great! Love it. It's getting a bit pricy... but that's everything I suppose; Ex. Taco Bell used to be $5, now it's like $25. What are ya gonna do?

I asked for sauce and she didn't say anything walked away and came back basically threw the sauce on the table. Then we get seated and she walks over to the chef and tells him something he looks at our table they laugh and he shakes his head. We immediately left. Jazmin is the rudest worker I have ever came across. We never even were rude to her or anything. Do not waste your time here. If you get Jazmin as the host or server, run out. Don't even waste your time.

A bit more eel and would be perfecto. The fried spring rolls were perfectly cooked and nice and crispy. The Thai tea was great, not too strong of a taste and tasted clean, maybe slightly watered down but one of the better ones I've had in town. I couldn't eat all of it, great portions for the price. Total about $45 and I'll have leftover to eat later. Service was pretty good, I was the only one for most of my meal so she was very attentive at the start. Once I finished my Thai tea I would have gotten a water but I was about done anyways. Food came out quickly. It was very quiet, they had a TV but it was off. I didn't mind since I was the only one there and was enjoying my phone.

Decided to try Lings Foodie Hub! Good option for Chinese food!…read more For starters we actually sat and ate here. The atmosphere was very oriental and very clean. We were the only people here at the establishment but it was not bad. Our server was nice and friendly. For food o ordered the chicken lo mein. Very flavorful and good chicken to noodle ratio. Juicy even and was massive portion of plate. Very good ratio of food to pricing for this one. We ordered the shrimp tempura which was amazing and crispy. A very clean shrimp on the inside and perfect fry on the outside. Highly recommend this one to try. And the wonton soup was good too. I personally prefer clear base soups instead of this one which was an oily base. The wontons themselves tasted slightly undercooked because the actual dough itself was still quite hard but the flavor in the inside was okay too. Probably wouldn't order this one again but it's not a bad option. All in all pretty good Chinese food, if you're searching for something like this then go ahead. I would eat here again.
