Just moved to El Paso and this is the first local coffee shop I've been to! The atmosphere is clean and pleasant. There is minimal seating on the inside-- a couch and maybe a few bar seats available. The decor was minimal, but fun! There is free wifi and a password posted. More seating is available outside, but I believe this is shared with the neighboring restaurant. My friend and I were welcomed upon entry and the staff was very friendly. I had a question about something on the menu and the guy behind the bar was able to answer quickly. I ordered one of their seasonal drinks, a coconut cold brew. I just got it black with the coconut cold foam and it really hit the spot! None of us had been here before (two of us don't live in TX), but we opted to have a little breakfast here. It's a small coffee shop that has a limited food menu. There was only one person working so we were really glad they weren't busy! The gal behind the counter was very pleasant. We placed our order and went to sit in an area where there was a couch. The coffee was good! The only thing I didn't like is that they don't have decaf. I try not to have much caffeine, but I will have it occasionally. I also know a few people who cannot have any caffeine. They also don't have skim milk. I know some baristas call a skim decaf a "why bother", but I like it! My lavender latte was very good though. There is also no bathroom in there. You walk outside, across a seating area, past a shipping container and then you'll see it. The place is cute and a little funky. It never got busy while we were there, but if it does get busy, I'm thinking more than one person should be behind the counter. Would I go back? Probably. I would recommend this coffee shop a lot! The man who took my order it was very patient when I asked a lot of questions, so I would say the service is good. I got two drinks for only $12, which in this economy is a steal! Not only that, but the Matcha was the most vibrant Matcha.l I've seen from a coffee shop, and it was very balanced in flavor! I got a coffee and it wasn't too milky and it wasn't too sweet. They also had a lot of syrup options. If you're looking for a small business to support, try this one! I would say this isn't the best place to study just because the inside seating options are very minimal. This is such a cute local coffee shop with excellent customer service. They also have their liquor license, so if you like liquor in your coffee, this is the place to be. We went to this cafe on Saturday morning around 1030AM. we were greeted by the barista Lele. She was working by herself but she got the job done!! I've been in need for oat milk these days for my coffee as well and always hope a new place makes it good. There was quite a line when I went and it took awhile to order and get my drink. I realized it was because of a school nearby and kids just love hanging out here and grabbing a drink. It does have a fun, urban vibe which attracts lots in the community. I wasn't disappointed with my oat milk latte, but it it was just ok at best. It may just be the flavor of the coffee bean roast too but it didn't stand out to me. The place is small with limited indoor seating so the option to sit and visit with a coffee is low. Went to rally point coffee for the first time. The guy behind the counter was very nice and explained some things since it was our first time here. I ordered a mocha frappe and Nutella frappe. The lady told us both of them didn't have coffee in them. So we added a shot of expresso to each drink. Each shot was $1.50 on top of the $6 drinks. I thought it was weird that the drinks came with no coffee... after all it's a coffee shop. The mocha frappe was good. The shop itself is small and sadly no bathroom. I thought it would be nice if they could put a small coffee table in front of the couches so we could actually play the board games they provide. Chill little spot. I got a vanilla honey cinnamon latte that was recommended by the barista. They said it was a medium sweet drink but it just tasted like cinnamon milk, and I couldn't taste the espresso. Also got the hollaback girl bagel and that was really good and I would get again. Boozy or non-boozy, drinks were fire! Staff was super helpful and recommended great drink mixes. I'm a matcha kind of gal and got an iced matcha latte with white mocha and vanilla cold foam and it was one of the best matcha I've ever had. I was able to also try the nitro cold brew with a liquor mix (unfortunately idk which liquor) but it was also very good. There was a hint of alcohol taste but just enough for it not to be overpowering of the coffee itself. Would definitely recommend! I have visited Rally Point twice. The first time I did not go in but Mark brought the coffee out to my vehicle. He was super kind and welcoming. He let me know that they are looking to get food grade CBD to have that option for coffee and I look forward to trying that. The first time I tried a latte with oat milk and praline and it was really good. The second time I got the same drink with an extra shot of espresso. The inside of the coffee shop is clean and open with limited seating indoors, but plenty of outdoor seating. I love a latte that balances the boldness of espresso and the sweetness of the syrup, which this did. The oat milk made it creamy as well.
