The coffee at Desert Rose Coffee was delicious! And the staff was so friendly. The Spanish latte was perfect.

Outstanding food! Outstanding service!…read more We hired Off the Grill because we won a bid for a certificate benefitting Gigi's Playhouse. They honored it, and we could not have been happier! They delivered out-of-this world brisket and pulled pork. It was delicious! I recommend them without reservation or one single hesitation! We will most definitely be hiring them again!

I think that OTG is a pretty good food truck that serves BBQ-based items and I'm not rating it compared to sit-down BBQ restaurants; you shouldn't expect it to be an alternative to places like State Line or Famous Dave's. Their menu is pretty straightforward, mostly sandwiches or tacos made with one or more of their BBQ meats, but their most popular item, and the one they recommend, is the Pulled Pork Cheese Fries, they had me at "Pulled." I really liked them, the fries golden soft (which I prefer), not crispy fried and they are pretty decent size, none of that thin fry crap, they have lots of cheese and mixed with the BBQ sauce it makes for a nice tangy flavor. Because I have no self-control, I also ordered the sausage bites, which I found out is their second most popular item. It's a plate of sliced sausage drenched in BBQ sauce, which for the record I did share with another person. We weren't blown away by them, but they were okay, I'm just really picky about the sausages I put in my mouth. I would definitely recommend getting the fries over the bites if you are a normal person that only orders one thing. I do have to mention that the OTG folks were very friendly and personable, though there was a line I didn't feel rushed when it was my time to order, which is not uncommon at food trucks and stands. They were even nice enough to pose my food on the counter while I took photos of it, because I'm that kind of person. I found them at the Chamizal Memorial Park, check their facebook page to find their current location.

I've been collecting Hello Kitty plushies, toys, stickers and more since I was around 5 years old…read more I still do it from time to time but not as often as before. I get busy with life and other grownup things so there's that. I've been wanting to visit their cafe/food truck for a few years now. I always had to work or something else would come up when they were in town. I finally got to visit and I'm so glad that I did! There's only two HK food trucks in the U.S. that travel around to different cities! The food truck was going to be at Cielo Vista Mall from 10 am to 7 pm or until supplies lasted. I saw that they sold out of everything at 5 pm on social media. I got to the mall at 10 am. By the time I got there, there was already a huge line! I waited around three hours for my turn! Do I regret it? I'm not going to lie, I thought about leaving a few times because it was hot and I was getting tired of standing around. I'm glad I stuck it out, though. I got to purchase some pins, a keychain and cookies. They unfortunately sold out of plushies, bottled water and a couple of other items when it was my turn. I got a pink tote bag for free because I spent $30 or more. It would be really nice if the truck was somehow parked inside of the mall or there was a little bit more shade. I see that they sometimes park indoors when they go to other cities. I also expected them to sell cupcakes and lemonade but they didn't. The bottled water was already sold out. Would I do this again? Maybe! I'd probably go much earlier than I did. I didn't know it was going to be this packed! The customer service was good, too. It would add a nice touch if they passed out water to those standing in line. I doubt that would ever happen! Lol. If I come back, I'll remember to bring some. Overall, a pretty good experience aside from the 3-hour wait!

The Organic Taco Machine. This is one of those rare trucks that has as much to offer meat eaters as to vegetarians. My co-worker got the Cheech taco, which had a grilled ring of cheese and flank steak. She said it was an awesome taco. I on the other hand had a jerk fish taco and a "Karrot" taco. The jerk fish had a nice sweet and spicy flavor, like real jerk does. The carrot taco was superb as well, with shredded carrots, a cardamom yoghurt and plump raisins. After trying it, I almost ordered the other three veggie options... But I was broke and needed to get back to work. We also both order yucca fries. They were expertly prepared, evidenced by the fact that they weren't too thick and starchy as they could be. My co-worker liked the tomato jam that came with it, but I found it way to sweet.. However, they were great enough to give me wasabi mayo, which was perfect for those! I would say the only downside is, at $3-4 a pop for corn tortillas tacos and sides, it can really add up! If price was slightly lower, I think it should be a great value.

Tried it for the first time tonight. The Ay Thai tacos with yucca fries. AMAZING!! Can't believe I…read morehadn't come across this gem before. Officially stalking this food truck.
