Merlot, Chardonnay, hell...even White Zinfandel, if you're feeling particularly sophomoric). Ya wanna know what really killed it for me though? The noise. This place is too f**king loud for me to think, much less hold a conversation. I can't quite put my finger on it. But for some reason, places like Clicks Billiards can get this sort of thing right. I dunno what it is, but that place has acoustics that compliment the sound of music without becoming overbearing to the point of not hearing the person next to you. Basically, if I can't even enjoy a conversation with the people around me and I can't even order basic red wine, I'm certainly not hesitating to give a place like this 1 disgruntled, overly anxious patron walking out the front door after just 5 minutes of sheer auditory agony...out of 5.
