Great food served hot. I have had both the fried fish and the baked white fish with lemon sauce. Service is fast and friendly. Prices are right. read more

All freshly cooked and good experience... except we had to re-order everything to be re-cooked including the appetizer because it was SO intensely over-salted. I'd say over all good AND fresh... as long as they don't over salt it. read more

I've ben here twice. One other time, I tried to eat here, but the place was packed. So if you plan to eat, here arrive early or come on a not so busy day. Service is great, as is the food. I have no complaints at all. Then the prices are very reasonable as well for the amount of food you get. Stop by and check out Cheddars if you haven't. read more

Decided on Cheddar's for a family dinner. We had a party of 6. We were seated quickly. We got our drinks and were also given an order of croissants as a starter. I ordered the grilled chicken Alfredo and broccoli. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce had a lot of flavor. The pasta was cooked perfectly as well. Very good dinner for a reasonable price and great service. read more

Amazing. Down to the last bite. Perfect service, refilling your drink almost as soon as you finish it. The environment was great as well. Not as pricy as other places. read more

We have been eagerly waiting for Cheddars to open, and it was well worth the wait! We went on a Saturday evening around 6, it was an hour long wait. They text you when table is ready and you can view the wait list to see how far you're at. We went home and waited, because we live minutes away ...but lots of shops close by to peruse while waiting. Service was friendly, prompt, and attentive. Our waitress was phenomenal, refilled drinks without asking and came by often. Managers are walking around too, and were super nice! I believe the GM walked by too (based off his vibe) which was a great touch. The atmosphere is a bit cramped in the main dining area, but not terribly bad. I'm sure it's mostly to get people in. It's a beautiful restaurant with a large fish tank, seating outside to wait, as well as ample seating inside. Food was ten stars, without a doubt. The croissants are on the house and are DELICIOUS!! The spinach dip is definitely spinachy more than anything else, but was very good flavor. Salmon and chicken sandwich were *chefs kiss*. Next time I'll order dressing on side to the salad as it was a bit much, but I like light dressing. Definitely a new favorite! Best of luck, Cheddars! read more

Food is good as always. However this time I ordered delivery and was completely dissatisfied and disappointed. Ordered cheesecake and apple pie with ice cream as well as regular dinner items. For one thing, they need to take cold items off the delivery menu. I received both, aside from the pie, melted as they place the cold items on top of the hot meals. Not a bright idea. Either invest in cold bags or at la east separate them in hot and cold bags. To place them all in one bag was a stupid idea. read more

I went with my family and was very disappointed that we couldn't seat together we had to seat in two different booths back to back. What the point in going in as a family if we can't even enjoy it together.. We went to celebrate my niece's birthday and we couldn't sing happy birthday to her or even take a picture as a family... read more

Cheddars-southeast El Paso location. First of all, staff and ambience were pleasant. The queso dip was decent, but the rest of the food (buffalo shrimp, ribs and shrimp, and chicken fried steak) was cold (or barely warm as if it had sat at the pass too long). I didn't think it was overly busy, nor did I feel the wait times were very long, so the food came out in a timely manner. Flavor profiles were not there, but that aside, I don't feel that serving lukewarm food is okay. We will not be returning. read more

The food was delicious and plentiful.we ordered and shared the Shrimp and Ribs Combo with mashed potato's and gravy. Also had a Texas Margarita and another cocktail (don't recall the name. Awesome dining experience, walked in with a group of six on Valentine's Day. Seated right away, Kasey (sp?) got our drinks out, took our order and all our meals arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Even brought more gravy and a second plate for a shared meal. One of our group has a peculiar food allergy, so had to ask about meal prep. Kendra (supervisor) was at our table, answered our concerns and had kitchen make our shrimp less allergy offensive and made us feel like part of her family with her care. She is a fantastic people person, and as far as I'm concerned she is part of my family now...even walked out to say goodbye to my visiting parents. Cheddar's don't let this gem of a human being and food service professional go, she is great at her job! read more

Cheddars Scratch Kitchen is a national chain. I have been to locations in Florida and here in El Paso. The food is great and their complimentary croissants are delicious read more

First time at cheddar , I was greeted after waiting a few minutes, but got my table really fast! My server was Alex . I wanted the raspberry tea but they ran out so I had water with lemon. I order the chips and homemade queso, 8 ox bourbon glazed salmon with the loaded potato and southern green beans and new orlean pasta . The place was rather busy, has a good atmosphere, kind of reminds me of an Applebees but darker. There is background music and tons of parking. The queso was delicious but the salsa was disappointing, their chips are thin and crispy. If you join their club you get the chips and queso for free. It will be sent to your email and you have 14 days to redeem it I received a complementary butter biscuit, it warm , buttery , flaky and delicious. I wanted more . I was a bit disappointed in the new orlean pasta , it was rather dry. The loaded baked potato was plain no flavor. The salmon was amazing . The southern green beans was sweet. read more

Went to eat on a Saturday. We could not sit in main sitting area because they did not have enough servers. The sever came in, we finally sit in the main area. This is a new location on the Westside of town and was excited to check it out! I understand it just opened, however more training is needed for the wait staff and I think the GM should be more interested in making sure customers RED lights are attended too instead of just walking passed them. Food was very good, a huge mix-up on our order and issues with the #of sides that came with each plate. We had to ask for the menu to correct the issue....the wait staff took ownership, which was great! All in all it was an ok experience, just some grand opening concerns! Will definitely go back and will add to the review....good luck Cheddars - West! read more

This location is very new in the area, but food was incredible and affordable. Ordered the chicken strips family pack to go, came with 2 large sides. I picked the fries which were crunchy and hot and the coleslaw. Both were delicious. The portions were enough for a family of four and there was lots of food left over. Food was ready at the time stated and car side service was prompt. Overall great and will for sure go back. read more

From the food to customer service everything was awesome. Also the pricing on food was not bad for 3 of us.

Very lovely dining experience. Monte cristo was huge! Loved the raspberry jam. Complimentary bread is a nice touch. Chicken caesar salad was enough for two meals. Never leave hungry. That's for sure read more

Average cuz you can get out really outstanding service to mediocre - average. The bar area service reduces this overall rating to 3 stars. The first time they forgot my rolls and the second I had to wait for service I almost left. It seems that after the opening there is a careless attitude now. I could tell just from the body language and attitude. I'm looking somewhere else first. Good luck ! read more

The place is beautiful. I nearly froze to death in there three weeks ago. I heard others in the restaurant wondering why it was so cold. For bread lovers they don't serve bread with the meal. They do bring out crescent rolls with a white frosting that is yummy I had the pork chops. Not a fan of the glaze they use, I think they forgot that I didn't want any. (I asked if the pork chops come pre-glazed and was told no). I tasted my Mom's steak & chicken and it was delicious, my Sister ordered ribs and they were so good. It would have been a wonderful experience except it was so cold. read more

First time at Cheddars, gotta say that service was a bit slow, but that is probably because it was very busy. Apart from that the food was very good, the croissants were given as a little appetizer, it tasted freshly baked and it came with sweet butter drizzled all over them. I ordered the Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich, the food took a while as mentioned before, but it was well worth the wait. The chicken was juicy, the lettuce was fresh, although the bread was a bit dry everything else compensated. The French fries that came with my sandwich were crispy and savory. Over all it is a place to go if you wanna eat with the family or friends. It is a friendly environment with good decor and a nice atmosphere. While service is a bit slow, I still recommend. read more

Food was delicious and order came out quick. Ordered the chicken alfredo with the sauce separate. Also the New Orleans Pasta as I enjoy spicy. The sauce was good but a little too much and salty. Suggestion also order the sauce separate inorder to add to your own taste. Service was awesome Kyleigh our waitress was pleasant and informative about options for the plates check with us often and brought containers to take home unfinished portion. Kyleigh exemplifies great service. Ambiance was nice during lunch. We will be back. read more

I had a great experience at cheddars at 6460 N.Desert Blvd location for lunch. We were immediately seated and greeted by our server Lindsay. My wife had baby back ribs and for me the Dijon chicken & mushrooms. The food was out extremely fast. Everything was at the table very quickly, presented and prepared properly and tasted great. Lindsay the server was on top of every, refilled our drinks without asking, cleared dishes, this young lady was all over it. I highly recommend stop by and try the food. All experience were extremely positive for us. We owe it all to our server Lindsay. read more

The one on the Westside is not that great. Got burnt bread, took a while to bring out food. It was ok.

I went with my family to Cheddar's when they first opened. The food was good, the servers were attentive, the dining area was well laid out, and the prices were reasonable. I went back last night they had the same good service and environment but the food was TERRIBLE. I couldn't even eat it. Everything tasted like it had been drowned in salt, even the corn was SALTY. Somebody needs to explain to the cooks, customers can add salt if they feel like there is not enough but taking salt off cannot be done. The cheese bite appetizers were over cooked to the point that it was all breading with no cheese inside. Long story short I won't be going back. I don't mind spending my hard earned money at a restaurant but make sure the food your is edible. read more

We understand it's a new location, but not a new business. Like stated here, been operating since 1979. First of all, they ran out of Monte Cristo entree and baked potatoes!!! How can you run out of baked potatoes on a Saturday?!! Well they did, and that was not the only issue we had. Wait time was not bad for a Saturday, 20 min, we were seated by the bar area, not noisy at all, which is good. Appetizer was good, ordered the trio. I ordered the Dijon chicken with a house salad and steamed broccoli. First of all, chicken was raw, broccoli was past over steamed, it was mushy, to the point it dissolved in my mouth. Rice was over cooked as well. The house salad, I had to ask for it as it was taking to long to come out. And it came out same time as our meal, the lettuce was mixed with wilted and brown lettuce. Other meals were ok, salmon was cooked good. Will give it another try, maybe once the new location hype is over. read more
