West Texas Chophouse was such a great experience! The decor is modern and stylish -- the kind of place that instantly gives "perfect night out" vibes. The steak was amazing -- cooked perfectly, packed with flavor, and honestly one of the best I've had in a while. Everything we ordered was delicious. Service was exceptional! It's a great spot whether you're going out with friends or enjoying a family night out. Good food, great ambiance, and overall a really enjoyable experience. Highly recommend!

Hey. Not bad for a steakhouse. Its average. And I do mean middle of the road. The pricing is fair given the quality. This is not a high end steakhouse. But again, for the price. Absolutely would come here again. The service was fast and fairly accurate. Although when our meals were delivered to the table....it was like all side had been switched on our plates... The old fashion was chipped ice....that all you need to know about that. Wine was good, but not poured at the table. So not really sure what wine we received. Ambiance is cool. This feels like a im in town for business and I want a decent steak dinner type of place. Dress is casual.

Came for the first time for dinner Saturday night, great dinner and great drinks. Had a lemon drop and husband had a regular margarita and a strawberry kiwi margarita! Food was great and big portions good prices as well! Food came out super quick and fresh.

West Texas Chop house is my favorite steak house in El Paso. The ambiance is beautiful enough for me to have my engagement party here - no I am never getting married again but would love some bling on my finger. LOL. So the drinks are amazing and my Old Fashioned was perfect - like really good...and I just had to get the cherry out hehehe so I hoe they don't have this on camera but the ice cube was perfectly round. When I put my spoon in - well it was like the vintage kid's song "on top of spaghetti, all covered in cheese, I lost my poor meatball when somebody sneezed..it rolled off the table and into the floor and then my poor meatball rolled out of the door" LOL well not exactly, but you get the picture! The food, service and ambiance here is amazing. You need to come on in! There are menu items for all price points- the burgers are amazingly priced. Don't eat red meat- they have great chicken dishes too!

Bar area in restaurant. Great large screens.

The restaurant is very welcoming. When you walk inside, you can walk right over and see all of these beautiful steaks through the windows, likely aging. Inside the restaurant is a beautiful modern look. The restaurant has trees glittering all throughout. The decor was lovely lovely and also highly entertaining for your children. Staff immediately made room for us and our stroller we all scooted into a large booth. There were three of us And our baby. There was plenty of room and the serving staff were absolutely gracious. You can see from the menu, we chose an all steak dinner for three or four people. It was absolutely tender and delicious. One of us is a really large eater and there was so much left over he had more than enough. Our sides were mashed potatoes, crème brûlée corn and Texas beans each side came with the meal all delicious. The meal also came with fresh bread a light loaf and a dark loaf both served with honey butter. Our server was very gracious checking on us without interrupting and making sure that we had everything we needed. Our server did a wonderful job. For the price to have such excellent cuts of meat I just don't think it could be beat. The ambience is beautiful and yet very family oriented if you want to take your children. The dessert menu was lovely, but it was impossible for us to eat anymore next time, I'm going to save room for dessert. This is a restaurant. You really should check out . For the three of us to eat so much food at such a reasonable price was just amazing. The restaurant is lovely spacious and exceptionally clean and the service was just excellent. Definitely something you need to try, please you won't be disappointed.

We came here for dinner a few days ago and it was amazing! I got a cucumber watermelon mocktail (I can't remember the name) and it was seriously the best mocktail I've ever had. I would love to try the actual cocktail version of it. Our steaks were both perfect and we tried almost all the sides- the only side we didn't love was the mashed potatoes. Everything else was so good! Our server was super nice and helpful as well. We will be back if we come back to El Paso!

Everything went well our server was better then geat we had such a wonderful time the food was great and the recommendations for our meal that the server gave was right on the mark and at the end of our lunch our server Dorian went above and beyond to make our son's birthday special. Thank you Dorian

I really want to love this place, decor is gorgeous, some of the staff is top notch (mostly the bussers) but half of the servers stand around watching TV or chitchatting while customers wait for basics like water or bread. Long wait for even a greeting, our server Jon apologized but was just inattentive most of our visit. Delivered undercooked bread, left water glasses (my only beverage order) empty, dirty glasses for my daughter's lemonade, no straw, no condiments, side salad was 2/3 shredded cheese 1/3 wilted lettuce. Burgers were good.

Man it pains me to write less than a stellar review here because my family was SOOOO in love with this restaurant from a prior visit. Other than an hour drive, and an hour wait (which was no issue because we knew it was busy) - It started out good at the bar. We sat at the bar for appetizers and a drink and I must say, the appetizers were ok but the amazing service that Isaac gave my family- we enjoyed the food and drink at the bar. Pre-game was deceiving though. We got Mikayla as our server once we were seated. I LOVED that there's bread on the table when we arrived. We ordered the meatloavers feast, and a wedge salad with steak. All three steaks were requested medium well. All the steaks arrived about rare but my family tore into them because after a two hour wait for food after a university graduation everyone was ravished. Since no one came to check on us see if the order was ok when it arrived it was survival mode. Kids cutting around the blood. Or at least trying. The steak on the salad was the consistency of what I would imagine a Goodyear tire with about 100,000 miles would taste like. One of my grands kneaded thru that as well . With some of the porterhouse left I did let the waitress know when she finally asked is everything ok that everthing was indeed NOT ok. The manager never came over. She said he said he would redo a sirloin. Disappointing, even though they picked at it and ate all they could stomach I would have liked to see a manager but I guess... I'll hold onto what I guessed. Grace & mercy. We were offered a sirloin and I said ok not knowing our graduate didn't even eat sirloin. Even if she did - it came out well done and not medium well as requested. Shame on me for thinking a steak chophouse could actually cook a steak as requested. We ordered a cheesesteak to go. No plastic ware. Stuff just slapped down on the table and deep exhale. Ok. No need to return. Would be a great place for a drink with Isaac and his crew at the bar!! Sorry I didn't get pics of our goodies at the bar, we were too busy enjoying our experience while there. Once at The table, not so much. I'm sad for my granddaughter that she had such a crappy dining experience after such a milestone accomplishment. Did I mention the undercooked beans or the fact our steaks came out not properly dressed with the signature sauce? We asked for some of it and a bottle A1 was plopped down on the table. The place was packed. Praying this type of experience isn't typical. But still........

I've been to the chiphouse a few times. The first time wasn't good, but it has gotten better since then. The food is very good and I like the lunch specials. Music is very upbeat and a good time to meet with friends or family. The interior of the restaurant looks great. So no complaints here.

If I could give this new spot a 10 Star I would. Service 10 stars, the location is awesome and the food well, sirloin was cooked as ordered. The queso fundido with steak was hot and super tasty. The birthday cake in this spot is CRAZY HUGE! Everyone gets into singing and having fun. GET THIS* there are two pastry chefs that work here making desserts. Nothing is bought outside for desserts, !!!!YES!!!! Purse stands are so convenient for your bags great idea. This all come together by a Manager that cares what the customer thinks and is very open to ideas and suggestions. URIEL (hope I spelled that correctly) was at our table chatting and just being a good listener and awesome suggestions on desserts. Every establishment should have an Uriel in their business . Come in hungry leave wobbly.

We met up with some friends from out of town and they wanted to go and get a steak for dinner. They said do you have any suggestions. I said let's try WTCH. First of all our waitress was Cielo what a very beautiful girl and an excellent waitress. My friend Randy and his daughter got the Ribeye and they both said it was delicious and I'm sure it was. I got the Alfredo pasta and it was delicious but I have to admit I definitely had a lil steak envy. Next time!! Great Steak house just overall atmosphere is wonderful. Just a great evening. Once again the WTCH does NOT DISAPPOINT!!

The local Yelp Elites had a fun UYE and gift exchange at WTCH! The ambiance was incredible ! I loved the holiday decor. One of our Elites new the owned and he came over to say hello / fancy touch! The service was also incredible The food was delicious ! Yea it's a chophouse and it's west Texas, but I ordered the chipotle Alfredo anyways and it was great! Fun times with our small but family like Yelp Crew! Thanks to Patrick for bringing us all together

Extremely Disappointed, Multiple Issues Throughout…read more I had high expectations for this restaurant given its chophouse reputation, but our experience was disappointing from start to finish. We ordered the bone marrow appetizer, iceberg wedge, Caesar salad, and two kids meals to go. Unfortunately, nearly every aspect of our order had problems. The bone marrow was excessively salty to the point of being inedible. We tried to salvage it by scraping away the salt, but ultimately had to throw it out, I was not happy as you know bone marrow is not cheaply priced. The salsa macha accompanying it was also missing. My Caesar salad arrived with wilted lettuce literally hanging out of the container, clearly not fresh enough to serve. One kids meal had the wrong side item, no silverware was provided, and our drinks were forgotten entirely. We returned to address these issues, and while the manager was apologetic and remade our order, the replacements were still subpar. My LARGE salad was noticeably smaller than what I originally ordered, and the salsa macha, when finally provided, was very mediocre at best. I've had a lot better. I'm typically understanding when restaurants make one or two mistakes, but when an entire order is executed this poorly, it's hard to overlook. I understand they were busy, but they seriously need to execute better under those conditions. For a chophouse at this price point, the quality and attention to detail should be far better. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

Thirty miles south of El Paso, where the desert stretches wide and the sun beats down like a…read moreblacksmith's hammer, there stands an oasis known as Cattlemen's Steakhouse--serving up some of the finest grub west of the Pecos. I'd been there once before, though not among the regular folk. Ten years ago, I sat in the private dining hall, watching the cooks tend to ribeyes over an open flame. Those steaks were laid on a grill set at a slant, so the grease dripped away instead of pooling beneath the meat. No shortcuts. No nonsense. Just fire, steel, and beef. This time, I pushed through the restaurant doors like a dusty traveler looking for redemption. Inside, a hungry soul can choose their cut, name their doneness, and pick their fixin's. Sure, there are other offerings on the menu--but I didn't ride all that way for chicken. I ordered the 24-ounce porterhouse they call the Cowgirl. For the truly brave, there's the Cowboy--a two-and-a-half-pound behemoth fit for a cattle drive champion. The steak arrives with a baked potato riding shotgun on the plate. Alongside come cowboy beans, pineapple coleslaw, and warm dinner rolls. And here's the kicker--they'll keep the sides coming if you've got the grit to ask for more. I fought my way through that Cowgirl like it was high noon. Tender, rich, and full of honest flavor--so good it didn't need a drop of sauce. I'll admit, the edges had a touch of toughness, like the desert itself. But that center cut? Smooth as a prairie sunset. Service was sharp and steady, the kind you hope for when you hitch your horse outside. But what truly sets Cattlemen's apart is its solitude. Out there, far from city noise, you're reminded of a quieter time--when towns were few, distances were long, and a good meal after a hard day's ride meant everything. If you're looking for a steakhouse that feels less like a restaurant and more like a scene from an old frontier tale, this is the place. Just bring your appetite--and maybe loosen your belt a notch before you saddle up.

I told the waitress that we wanted a new steak, and she brought back the steak while flashing a flashlight over it to defend her cook, saying it is medium-rare and to look at it again. Never have I ever experienced a flashlight being used over our food to prove a non-valid point. At this point, I was so freakin hungry that I did not want to argue, and so I ate the dry steak. The use of wood, metals, warm lighting, and overall dining room and outdoor terrace displays and creates an inviting dining experience. Service: The service is attentive and knowledgeable, with server who was eager to recommend several of the restaurant favorites. Not one dish we did not like-all amazing! Culinary Highlights: Mesquite Grilled Spanish octopus was Smokey yet savory. Cooked to perfection also served with Fingerling potatoes and salsa macha The bone-in ribeye (prime) cooked on a firewood grill was a true highlight of the menu, showcasing the restaurant's expertise in preparing a distinctively rich flavor entree. Cooked with beef tallow (no seed oils) chefs kiss Smoked beef short rib was so tender and had Oaxacan quesillo potato purée with tomatillo jam. Simply did not disappoint. Street style corn with chipotle aioli had us all going back for seconds. The sweetness of the corn balances with the smokey, spicy notes of the aioli. Craft Cocktails: Well balanced and wide selection of Tequilas to choose from. I can't say enough good things! Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a night out with friends or family this restaurant is sure to impress. Our Group agreed that it was a meal and experience that will leave lasting impression. We will be back!!!!!

It felt like a place you'd want to hang out for a while. Definitely make a reservation because it fills up quickly. Service was a little slow at times, but our server was super friendly and helpful with recommendations, so it didn't take away too much from the experience. The bone marrow was AMAZING!! Easily one of the highlights of the night. We also ordered the Delmonico with bone marrow butter, which was cooked well and really flavorful. Drinks were great too and very well balanced. Overall, this place is a solid 4 stars, pushing 5. Great atmosphere, good drinks and some really standout dishes.

Walking in, there was a cool flower art installation hanging over the tables, which was a really unique touch and probably one of the more memorable parts of the space. That said, the overall vibe felt a little bland and didn't quite match the hype we were expecting. Food-wise, the experience was a bit mixed. We ordered a ribeye, but it unfortunately came out pretty cold. We let our server know and he did take it back so the kitchen could warm it up, which we appreciated. The table bread that came out was also on the dry side and not very impressive. The spicy margarita ended up being one of the better parts of the meal. It wasn't actually on the menu, but they made one for us and it was really good. We also ordered fries, which were solid, and the bone marrow (called "Mexican butter") was easily the highlight! It sauce that it came with! 10/10 It was rich, flavorful, and definitely the best thing we tried. ‼One quick heads-up for anyone visiting: there's a nail sticking out of the handrail going down the stairs to the bathroom, so just be careful grabbing the railing on the way down.‼ Overall, there were a couple good items, but the experience felt a little underwhelming compared to the expectations from the reviews. Maybe it was just an off night.
