Since it was my anniversary, we were complimented with champagne and a nice Happy Anniversary sign at our table. We had the steak, asparagus, vegetables, salad, and cheesecake. The restaurant's ambiance is striking, featuring Tulum/Riveria Maya-inspired decor that combines elements with modern aesthetics. The use of wood, metals, warm lighting, and overall dining room and outdoor terrace displays and creates an inviting dining experience. Service: The service is attentive and knowledgeable, with server who was eager to recommend several of the restaurant favorites. Not one dish we did not like-all amazing! Culinary Highlights: Mesquite Grilled Spanish octopus was Smokey yet savory. Cooked to perfection also served with Fingerling potatoes and salsa macha The bone-in ribeye (prime) cooked on a firewood grill was a true highlight of the menu, showcasing the restaurant's expertise in preparing a distinctively rich flavor entree. Cooked with beef tallow (no seed oils) chefs kiss Smoked beef short rib was so tender and had Oaxacan quesillo potato purée with tomatillo jam. Simply did not disappoint. We were so happy to walk in to our dinner and all the details were in place. The table was set beautifully and the wines were chilled and ready to get the party started. I would be remiss if I didn't mention our wonderful server, Milton. Took care of everyone in the party. Appetizers were served on time and the individual attention to our family members was lovely. The appetizers were delicious, so we ordered more. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. There were a couple of hiccups, but everything was taken care of by our wonderful staff. I appreciated that I didn't have to worry about anything for our special occasion. Mario and Milton worked so well together to make our guests feel special. The cake service was so nice. The champagne was chilled and so delicious! The wine selections were perfectly matched with our meals. We were all having such a lovely time , we didn't realize we closed the restaurant. Parking lot was crazy busy on a Thursday evening. I recommend making a reservation if you are looking to dine in on an evening or on the weekend. I can't say I'd recommend anything we got. The entrees had such potential but were not executed well. If you're looking for a plate to knock your socks off, avoid this place. If you're looking for a fun atmosphere , this place will provide that. My favorite part of the meal was the free bread and roasted spread. For the price, this place should do better. Hostess was very warm and welcoming. Our server was friendly but rushing around and needed to slow down. He ended up bringing us the wrong wine. And it was awkward telling him that's not what we ordered. An honest mistake on a busy night so we weren't mad but it's still awkward for everyone.

The staff was incredibly accommodating, and our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable, and so helpful with recommendations. The amuse-bouche of watermelon with Tajín-style seasoning was a refreshing and thoughtful start. The wedge salad was the standout of the night, generously portioned, perfect for sharing, and absolutely delicious. The pesto spaghetti was equally impressive, with a beautifully balanced sauce that wasn't overpowering. I ordered the miso black cod, which was cooked perfectly and beautifully flaky. While it leaned a bit salty for my taste, the quality of the dish still stood out. The ambiance is dark and intimate, perfect for an upscale dinner, and the iPad menus were a helpful modern touch. Overall, the exceptional hospitality and standout dishes made this a wonderful dining experience, especially after a long travel day. I would absolutely return.

We also ordered the Foie Gras, let me say I love a nice seared foie gras, this was not that at all. It was more of a pate, and was ok. The table had previously ordered the oysters while we were drinking at the Dome and all I heard was that they tasted off. We placed our main plates @ 7 pm, I and a few others ordered the ribeye, it was not worth the $86 a plate. Our food came an hour and a half later, we were all ready to leave. Mind you the only other table that was there when we ordered was a two top and a three top that had received their food already. The ribeyes were cold some over cooked, some under cooked and it was just not good. I can cut my own steaks from Sam's and have a better meal. I'm sorry but out of the 14 of us maybe 1 person was happy with their meal. The only saving grace was the service and the dessert. I'm glad I didn't pay for the dinner
