By looking at the parking lot you could tell this place was popular. Our group merely wanted a place to work, grab a drink and catch up on work before flying back home. The free WiFi was a definite plus. We worked on the patio and it was just the right setup for us to work. I don't think anymore cared for the cookies that were shared. Not sure of my recommendation since this was my first visit. But the WiFi and Patio makes it good option to work. read more

I'm surprised that I haven't been to this place before. It was early in the morning when I went there. They also have good healthy options. The coffee was ok. It reminds me of Panera bread, which we don't have here in El Paso. I went to the one on Airway. The breakfast was good, but I prob wouldn't frequent this as much. Disappointing, but edible. Tasted like basic hotel breakfast food. Croissant sandwich was small and squished from a panini press. Chai latte was all latte, little chai. Too sweet, undercooked pancakes. Coffee latte tasted like the version you get from a gas station machine. Best thing we had was the egg BLT, but it wasn't anything to write home about. This is a very nice restaurant, open and airy. There is a good selection of breakfast items. I had the avocado breakfast wrap and hubby had the bacon and cheese panini. Both were good although mine was quite bland, hubby's was good because of the bacon. You have to order first, then find a table and get your drinks. Been in El Paso for a few days and ran into this bakery. So glad I came in, the staff is very welcoming, the place is super clean and the food is delicious. I also have to say the manager is super welcoming and attentive. Not only did she great me with a warm welcome but she took the time (from a busy shift) to explain the menu. The entire MENU, as I was lost and had told her it was my first time at a Corner Bakery :) I got my food within minutes and a few moments later she walked by to ensure my order was correct and to my liking. Unbelievable! I've checked into this place 7 times, yet I never wrote a review for it. I could have sworn I've talked about this place before, but I guess we're just now doing that for the first time today. I first visited this place in 2015 after moving back to El Paso. And then I stopped going for a while...for some reason. But when I decided to start incessantly visiting this place once again, I remembered what I love most about this place. Convenient short order breakfast places should be more commonplace. I mean, if we're not even worthy enough to have a Waffle House, this place will do. Comparable to the likes of Panera Bread, CBC is one of those places where the menu is simple, succinct, but also highly customizable. For example.. Let's say you decide to pre-order your food via the app (and yes, it's awesome). There are options to add or take away certain ingredients. Best of all, this place accepts Apple Pay. I wish more places did this, because it's honestly a lot more secure than sliding or inserting your card. But, I digress. My go-to favorite here is the All American Scrambler. It's simple and rustic, but tasty as all hell! You can even get extra egg, if you wish. What I find strange though is how, depending on which location you visit, some places might eff up and give you less egg than others. The one on Airway is fine. But when I first visited the one on North Yarbrough, the plate looked like they served me a child's portion of eggs. Am I five? Also recently tried the commuter croissant. Though honestly, it looked more like flatbread. I'm used to seeing croissants a lot fluffier. Ah well. Anyway, this is a decent place to have breakfast if you don't feel like waiting around a sit-down full service restaurant like Denny's or something. For a chain, we were very impressed. The staff was so friendly from the staff working the counters, to the food runners, and all the employees walking around to clear an empty plate instantly. I ordered the BBLT Breakfast Sandwich with a cinnamon roll. They recommended that they warm up the cinnamon roll and it was fantastic. The sandwich was great and the portion size was large enough to fill me up. I did think the portion of potato's was way too small though. Overall, I was prefer local places over chains but we didn't realize this was a chain when we landed in El Paso. It was very refreshing to see such great service and food at a large chain. read more

The power bowl only had the power to make you shit 30mins after eating it. The eggs weren't made with real eggs and if they were they probably put milk in it because it was a very pale yellow. There was hardly any flavor, you only taste the greens in quinoa. I asked for sausage and got cardboard. How do you served this to people? Corner bakery is consistently good. We used the Internet to place our order and drove through the Airway location to pick it up- easy peasy! It was a great choice, even though the restaurant is open for business at this time of the COVID-19 epidemic, picking up my order made the most sense these days- they made it easy. Our order wasn't exactly right but we were home before we noticed the flaw. Luckily we like everything!! So, we just adjusted our taste buds. We had panini's that come with chips, it was a wonderful lunch. We had enough to pack a lunch for the next day! Check them out- they are so convenient on the corner of Airway and Edgemere. read more

Today, 3 hours before it was supposed to be delivered they cancelled on me with no reason given! It was just sandwiches / cookies and drinks so I hardly think they ran out and think it was more likely due the fact that this was a smaller order for 4 and not my usual for 10-20!! Thankfully another local deli jumped in and was able to take the order with a few hours notice. Visiting El Paso, Tx. for the first time, for work from NY/NJ. I love breakfast, it's my favorite meal! So, I scouted some places to grab breakfast for the rare but occasional days I didnt cook my own in my room. I found this place on Yelp the photos were very underwhelming so I passed. A co worker who I worked with in San Diego (he's from Detriot) and went to some great breakfast places, said he tried this place and it was bad, supported me not trying it, recommended I stay away. Another co worker, an El Paso native told me how him and his wife loves it and "highly " recommended . This place is not good! I called and asked if they had breakfast meat that was NOT pork, person that answered said they had chicken sausage. I ordered the Anaheim scrambled( poor taste co worker recommended), pancakes and chicken sausage. The "chicken sausage " is really pale, wet, chicken breast stripes. The syrup was crystallized, idk is if that means it was old or what! And the container with my scrambled was wet/ liquid inside. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! ZERO STARS!!! NJ has the most diners than any other state, if it's one thing we know it's breakfast, this isnt it. read more

I am so excited that I found this place out! It reminded me so much of paradise bakery/panera back home! I will have to say that this food tasted 1000x better! We stopped by at around 1:30 on Friday so the lunch rush had already started to die down. I ordered the soup and sandwich combo with a regular drink and a chocolate chip cookie. Oh and my sandwich came with a bag of potato chips! My total was close to $14. I had the potato soup and half of a turkey bacon sandwich. The soup was creamy and it had such great flavor. The sandwich also tasted fresh and the cookie was soft and warm! Yum! Service was great! They do have a lot of drink selections and you can go with either something hot or cold.
