This place is just declining by the month. It used to be a great place to order food from or maybe I just need to stick to the George Dieter location. I ordered the pick 2, half a sandwich, a soup, and chips. I was disappointed in the BLT! They didn't even ask if I wanted the bread toasted, and because it was soggy due to the aioli they added to it; also the big thick slices of tomato didn't help! The half of sandwich was rather small and could be finished in 3 bites. To my disappointment, the 4 bacon slices they added were cold. Seriously? You all couldn't microwave it? Chicken noodle soup was good, but that came in a small cup! Why are you all charging so much for small portions of food? Last time my soup was a good size. A few doors down @ Mc Donald's I could have gotten a Senior Coffee for .53, and just as Good! They have a Rewards Program, but not a place I would frequent often! I had breakfast today at corner bakery. The food here is usually pretty good. Today I ordered the Anaheim scramble with the potatoes as the side. The potatoes were completely burned. I try to eat a little bit of them, but they were just disgusting. They even taste burnt. The young lady that took my order was very friendly and helpful, even suggesting some items that I didn't know they had on the menu. There used to be a manager that would walk around and ask how everybody's food tasted, but this didn't happen when the girl came to pick up my plate. I showed her how burnt the potatoes were and how hard they were and that they were inedible, and I was surprised that they served them like that. She just stared at me like a deer in headlights. Great location close to work, so it was a matter of convenience that brought me here for lunch. They remind me a lot of Panera bread, but maybe with more options?!? I don't know. I ordered a Cob salad and had thier blackcurrant tea - both were quite yummy. But see my issue with Corner Bakery (and yes Panera too) is how gosh darn expensive they are! Ive been many other times but haven't posted. I ordered a Chicken pomidori panini with a broccoli cheese soup. The panini was perfectly crispy on the outside and nice and gooey inside. My date had the carved ham and swiss sandwich with the Mac n cheese. The mac n cheese is a big portion enough to share. Both sandwiches were delicious. My only gripe is they closed soon after we sat down to eat and I hate feeling rushed. read more

Late dinner after my girls softball game. My first time at the Yarbrough location and i think they all look the sam inside. It was a little cool out and people were hanging out on the patio. I didn't see an outdoor fireplace but that woulda been cool. It wasn't too busy so I ordered right away. Like I said it was cool out, so I thought soup was in order. I decided on the classic tomato soup and the uptown turkey avocado sandwich. Wait wasn't long so the food was out in a couple minutes. I wasn't disappointed with the soup. It was chunky and warm not hot. Flavor was good and I think it paired well with my sandwich. I'm a big fan of avocado and bacon and the sandwich was filled with turkey, really thick. This is my second office. I choose to come here when I need to work remotely for many reasons. 1. The location is great, right next to freeway. 2. The food is healthy and yummy. Not to mention they have pastries for dessert! You can refill your drinks, including coffee, as many times as you like. 3. No matter how many hours I need to be here I never feel unwelcome. Did I mention free wifi? 4. Their customer service is superb. On many occasions I have observed the managers go to great strides to make sure not only the customers are taken care of but that the employees are as well. For me that is a big deal! 5. Free coffee after you buy six. They have a reward card that gets stamped every time until you reach your 6th cup. Needless to say I highly recommend them. read more

I give it three stars but it's a 3.5 lol. Staff is always friendly, good prices, clean establishment, but the food is hit or miss. I've had salads that tasted like they were drenched in vinegar when it was supposed to be ranch, cold food, wrong orders...but it doesn't stop me from going, I just eat the cake and feel better ha ha. Walked in an hour before they close, manager and the cook gave me an annoyed look like they were mad customers are still coming in. The server came in with the same attitude when they brought my sandwich. I wasn't able to order Americano online and had to order a regular coffee then told the server when I pick up my food for the Americano. Also the chicken in the salad tasted like bad cardboard. I like Corner Bakery except, First the positive: food is great and reasonably priced. I enjoy having coffee with friends and family there. Now the not-so-positive: why does the wait staff not use a little common sense? Example: if I'm in the middle of a conversation don't interrupt it with a labored 'is everything ok?' corporate line. It's insincere and disruptive. Second; why the need to send busboys/girls around continuously asking to remove plates? I instantly feel rushed and uncomfortable. It's as annoying as being handed the check while still eating. I get the need to keep people moving in order to maximize profit but come on: a little more Customer Service and a little less greed would be nice. read more

This is where I usually go when I need to get out of my house to do a little studying. I mean, they have coffee, pastries, soup and sandwiches. So I don't really have to leave if I get hungry or if I need a caffeine boost. Coming from Ohio, this is the closest to Panera that El Paso has. I'm a huge fan of their half sandwich and soup combo. I almost always get a panini and mom's chicken noodle soup. The one thing that will keep me coming back to this place is the staff. The staff is always quick to clear the tables for you. This is great when I'm studying because it frees up room for my papers and books. I especially appreciate how attentive the manager is. He makes his rounds to make sure everything is okay and will even open up a register to take your order if there's a line. This place is a "well oiled machine" so my visits here are always pleasant. read more

Went here for lunch and they were very busy as expected during lunch. I've been to this one and the one on George Dieter never had any problems until today we ordered the Club Panini and the Linguine with Meatballs. I gave it two stars because the Linguine and meatballs were good not the best I've had but they were decent, however the Club Panini left a lot to be desired. We've had the Club Panini many times and it's always been fresh and delicious. Today the bread on one side was burnt and it tasted gooey like if the Panini had previously been made and then just thrown in the microwave to warm up!
