I was visiting El Paso and decided to try this place out, Since I'm vegan it's a little harder making decisions on where to eat. I was craving breakfast so decided to stop and see if they had anything for me, as soon as I got up to the register I was greeted by not one but two of the team members one of them was Betty I believe she's a manager. Betty definitely stood out and was just such a sweet presence, she gave me a list of vegan options and even tho those options were on the lunch menu which they hadn't begun serving she was willing to have them make it for me. This is the 1st time we have been here and OMG! Clean service was awesome food was so good we had the mix & match: tortilla soup & uptown turkey avocado sandwich so good!! This last visit to CB made me realize how overpriced they are for what they sell (basically sandwiches, soups and salads that are waay better made in other places). I ordered the chicken pomodori panini, a cup of soup and a drink and it all totaled 15 bucks... too overpriced for technically fast food. I think this is one of those places that charges just for the name because, although the food is good, it's not worth paying that much for it. Will probably not visit CB in a while and try other venues where 15 bucks actually gets you a more elaborate dish. read more

I'm glad they opened a closer location. This was my first time going to the Corner Bakery. It has the "Panera" feel to it and right when you walk in you can see all the bread and pastries on display. The place is clean and well put together. It was pretty busy but then again it was Saturday Morning. I ordered the chicken pomodori with a side caesar salad and a chocolate muffin. It was ordered promptly and the staff was very nice. We sat down and it came in about 5 mins. The only problem with this place is that you don't know what to order because everything sounds good. It's a bit pricier than most places but I expect it's because the higher quality of food. I am definitely going again. read more

i've never thought of corner bakery as anywhere special but my experience here was so positive i bookmarked it so i could review it months later. as others have mentioned the service here is impeccable. the mostly (good-looking) female team (led by a fierce - in a good way - latina manager) worked together to provide fast, friendly, and attentive care to their customers, from ordering to clearing plates. they keep the place clean, from the tables to the bathrooms, and even off-duty staff in the bathroom greeted me with a smile. day 4 of a crazy 5-day road trip, we were hot, tired, hungry, and in need of a bathroom when we arrived. shared a trio of salad (southwest avo, quinoa & pico, and sesame kale), and tomato soup, and drank about two gallons on lemonade. the portions were generous (granted it's not cheap, for the ingredients they use i think it's fine), presentation clean, and taste delicious and fresh. we cleaned out plates while repeatedly praising both the food and the service. i don't know if i'll ever be in el paso again but if ever i am i will seek this place out! read more

I ordered online at corner bakery website and selected delivery. I was unaware that door dash was contracted to deliver for them. My order was delivered to the wrong address. I called the driver and he said he went back to the wrong house and the resident did not open the door. He suggested I call door dash. I did. They assumed no responsibility because they advised that since I did not use the door dash website or app they did not have visibility to my order. They referred me to corner bakery. I called and spoke to the manager who called her manager. Upon the returned phone cal I was advised that corner bakery would not assume responsibility for the error since they do not deliver and contract it out. So I'm out my money, have no dinner and no one wants to take responsibility for the situation. When things are good they are good but when things go bad, good luck. A lot of finger pointing and no accountability to provide great customer service. You have lost a customer. I hope others read this to know: buyer beware. Yarbrough location. Reminds me of Panerra Bread or Paradise Cafe if your on the West Coast. This little gem is an El Paso locally owned business though. Sandwich recipes are wonderful and I have gotten to the point I eat here at least once during every visit to El Paso. Service is great at all locations, sandwich ordering counter is well organized and has an easy, fast flow. Casual environment for those that like to bring their laptop or tablet to lunch with them and surf using the complimentary wifi. Loved the flavored tea, just right and not too sweet. read more

First time coming here and it blew me away. It looks like it would be another Panera type restaurant which it kind of is, but it blows Panera out of the water. I got my son kids Mac and cheese and of course I had to try it. It is phenomenal! I myself got the steak & cheese sandwich minus the cheddar sauce and it looked like it would be dry and funky, but it was AMAZING! My parents came with me as well and were very impressed with the food as well. The 4 stars is only because I was disappointed in my dessert. My cheesecake brownie was very hard and lacking in flavor. Another solid alternative for lunch on this side of town. They have always delivered tasty dishes with very little variation. My personal favorite is the chopped salad or the green chile chicken panini. I consider the tomato bisque a bit too salty, but others seem to like it. The food here is good. Pricey, but still decent. I can't complain about the food. But when I went with my daughter the lady at the register kept calling her a "he", which bothered me but she apologized when I corrected her. But I guess that distracted her from getting my order correctly but I didn't get what I ordered and I was missing an item. At that point, I didn't care anymore. I visited this place for the first time on 12/22/2017 with my mom while finishing some Christmas shopping and OMG it was so good!!! The staff was very pleasant, the place itself was very pretty and relaxing and the food was delicious!! We ordered the 1/2 sandwich & soup combo. I had the club panini and tortilla soup and mom had he Uptown turkey & avocado both were very delicious and since it was our first time we ordered a slice of pound cake and cinnamon creme cake and they were both superb. The district managers were a table away from us and we told them it was our first time and how great everything was so they asked us to try the pancakes.....melt in your mouth, deliciousness!!! We come here often with family for breakfast. The food is consistently good and the prices are very reasonable. The food is more healthy than fast food but it costs around the same. This restaurant is very clean and the staff is super friendly! Every time we go, there is a manager walking around making sure everyone is satisfied. I've been to this place twice now and both times were good experiences. The staff is attentive and regularly checks on you to ensure they're meeting your expectations. Dishes are removed from your table without haste, food is good, ingredients seem fresh, and dining area is clean.
