I hadn't been to this bakery since I moved further northeast but since was in the area I thought I'd stop by. It was late afternoon so I didn't expect a lot of pastries to be available but they still had some conchas and the big sprinkle cookies. The lady behind the counter spoke to me in Spanish but I know she speaks English so that's how I replied to her. I went to use Snap for the purchase and she yanked the bag back and put it on the table in the back of her as she told me loudly they had stopped accepting that form of payment for over four years. She turned and walked to the customer who was looking at her because of her raised voice. I wasn't asking for a handout and, oddly, a bakery doesn't accept snap. So much for wanting something sweet. Doubtful I'll go back even on payday. Being kind is free but apparently not there. read more

On this particular hot day my husband and I decided to purchase two of their $10 half gallon drinks. My lime cucumber was spot on however to my husband's disappointment his cantaloupe drink aka agua de melon was spoiled. We informed the employee the drink we just purchased was spoiled. Our intention was not to get a refund, it was to inform them that the product they are selling is spoiled, she told my husband that she would not exchange it for any other item and that I was stuck with a spoiled drink .I will never go back and recommend no one buy these drinks No telling how long they were sitting around and no date that they were made. Visited Supreme Bakery on McCombs in December 2024 to purchase cookies to send to my brother up north. I was extremely disappointed in the shape of the shop. Over half of the shelves were empty. It no longer smelled like a bakery. It was busy but only 2 employees working. I did buy a bag of what looked like Mexican wedding cookies ($12 a bag). They were no where close to what they used to sell. I tried eating 2 when I got home. They were just baked lumps of some weird dough with tons of powered sugar. Awful! I did not send them to my brother. I will not be going back! read more

Amaze balls!!! I have been looking high and low for a good donut place in the NE side of town and finally got it here! Such an amazing arrangemant of flavors and types and danishes and churros, muffins, and pan dulces for days! Great quality too. There were quite a few places here like Coxs bakery and Southern Maid Donuts that were horrible in our opinion. You won't be disappointed going here! Only bad thing was their chocolate milk options. My husband is a fiend for that with his donuts and he wasnt too thrilled with their 1% trumoo lol. But other than that, we are once again donut happy people! Ordered 2 tier birthday cake (flavors: chocolate and marble) for my 3 yrs old son's birthday party. Instead i got a 2 tier white cake. My son didnt want to eat any of it because he likes chocolate. I called the bakery let them know about the mix up. The co-owner (he stated he's the co-owner and he baked the cake himself)got on the phone and started to argue with me. At first he tried to blame the individual who took the order, i told him no because I'm looking at my copy of the order. He didn't man up to his mistake at all. Its sad. Wow, this place is amazing. I actually went here for doughnuts because they're my husband's favorite treat. But when I got there, I only got one doughnut and instead filled my box with other beautiful and ultimately incredibly delicious treats. Funnily, my husband and I agreed that the doughnut was the only thing we got that wasn't amazing. I don't even know the names of the other pastries we got, but yum. Will be back. Stood in line on Sunday for half hour (to be expected on Sunday morning). Got my order went home. Everything was fine till I got to the $.98 strawberry cheese filled danish which I always order two when I go in. I took one bite and a wet dog smell enveloped the whole room, everyone could smell it - horrible and I could get no one to try it. I took the two danishes back in first thing Monday and asked to talk to the manager. I explained the situation both of the girls behind the counter and they broke off a piece smelled it and I they would not take a bite. The girl said to me it is the cream cheese as the new batch she said smell the same. I told her then they need to check the cream cheese as it should not smell like wet dog. I told her I was not wanting my money back please just exchange for something. She said no that I should have brought it back on yesterday on Sunday. I explained to her that I come in all the time and I was not going to drive back on Sunday and stand in that line for half an hour again to complain in front of all those customer about the bad product I had and came in first thing Monday morning. She said she could not give me anything for FREE and I needed to come in when the manager gets there in a couple of hours. I said really I am not asking for anything for free but for something that is not rancid not to mention the time I am wasting to come back to bring this to their attention. I told the girl that was no way to handle this situation and she needed to get the manager on the phone immediately which she did not do. I think they need to review their policies and educate the workers on better customer care. Perhaps they need to look into the quality and or dates on the cream cheese they are using????
