I order 2 dozen donuts, glazed and chocolate. The donuts are so soft and fluffy. It's worth the calories. They also have burritos for $3.25 and for $1 more you can add potatoes. They also give you the salsa for free, red and green sauce . This place is busy but worth it

After trying the Bowie Bakery location near downtown, we were super excited to try this one on the West Side. The pastries are delicious and very well-priced, just like they are at the downtown location! For checking in here on Yelp for the first time, I received a coupon for 50 cent donuts on Wednesdays. Our favorites are the glazed & chocolate iced. I also really like their large cookie topped with coconut flakes and fruit-filled pastry. We will definitely be back soon for more 50 cent donuts and to try more pastries!

Seeing them touch everything with their bare hands was gross. Why aren't they wearing gloves?

Only 1 person working during busiest time in the morning. Long wait does not make customers happy before going to work.

Arte Sana Bakery - Strawberry cream cake (?) it was a layered crepe with lovely cream cheese and diced strawberries

Sandwich bread is baked in-house along with all of the incredibly fresh pastries we also enjoyed. The cinnamon role had a gorgeous crust that hid a moist inside. Cream cheese frosting was perfection. Chiapas Nutella (neglected to snap a picture) was chocolatey, buttery, and topped with fresh pecans. The cream cake was a strawberry crepe masterpiece...layer upon layer of diced strawberries and an almost-savory cream cheese filling. We were warmly greeted and immediately seduced by the lovely scent of fresh baked pastries. While indoor space is limited with only three tables, covered seating out front provided a nice space. Friendly staff brought our drinks and food out to us. We will return to this lovely place.

I have been here several times, and their fresh ingredients and delicious baked goods do not disappoint. But depending on where you're from in Mexico, and even the US, your pallet may be different. So, finding a good place can be challenging especially if you're visiting. But, El Prado Bakery takes the cake (pun intended) on some of the best Mexican food in this town. From their pastries to their burritos you'll find great food here. First, they have an abundance of pastries to choose from. You can spend some time just trying to pick the right one. And they are tasty! Their burritos are absolutely delicious! I had the breakfast sausage and egg and it was great! My only issue was it was rolled up the way I am not used to for a burrito. It was more like a giant taco with the edges tucked in. That aside, it was still delicious and the salsa was good too! Eggs were cooked nicely, as well as the sausage. Potatoes were soft and with the beans added, it made for a great burrito! The staff were super friendly! Always welcoming when you walked in. And yes, we went there more than once! Always had a smile and waiting to take your order. Once the food was ordered it came fairly quickly too! Place was clean all around which was nice as well. All in all, this was a great place. Definitely stop by and try this place! You'll be glad you did. Cheers.
