We absolutely love McAlister's and are so excited that they've come to El Paso! It's a bit easy to miss so be looking for it! Every occasion we've walked in, somebody is greeting customers. We moved here from an area that had plenty of McAlister's and this one is really setting a high standard. My favorite to order is the Choose 2. I normally choose a sandwich (The orange Cranberry club or the Four Cheese griller) and a salad (depends on what season). The salad is normally a very large portion and always fresh. I order the Iced Tea with Black Cherry. The price of their fruit syrups have jumped majorly, but what hasn't at this point. The kids meals are great and come with the perfect amount of food for under $4. Plus the added cookie they get is always a special bonus to them. We are so happy it's in El Paso! read more

Pre grand opening! Excited about McAlister's finally opening here in El Paso..and in my backyard no less! I had the McAlisters club sandwich with a side of salt n vinegar chips and a large unsweet tea for the gains lol. The Sandwich was out in a flash, thick pieces of turkey and ham and complemented nicely with honey mustard. The amount of food was perfect not overwhelming but filling. We love the food at McAlister's but very poor service at the location on Mesa in El Paso, Texas. The workers seemed bothered when asked for a to go box and a cup of ice water. I stood a couple of minutes at the counter waiting to be helped while 3 of the associates chatted away and I was never acknowledged until I called their attention. I will never come to this location again. It's all about the customer, they need work in their people skills! :( read more

We stopped going to this place due to their lack of attention to detail. When it first opened everything was on point. Their customer service was great, now it seems that the employees have gotten complacent. I totally blame this on management, When it first opened, it seem to be a thriving business now every time I drive by it looks empty, perhaps because a lot of their customers have been experiencing the same poor service. read more

The place is clean, staff is nice but they are very inconsistent. Every time I do go something is wrong. They almost always forget the pickle spear, last few visits they forgot my chips and sides. The sandwiches are good, the soups are horrible. If you do decide to go just check your bag and items before leaving, I made that mistake and had to drive all the way back to get the rest of my items. read more

To be honest it was just okay. We orders pick up and we're not given everything we ordered for we asked for our sandwiches to be made with ciabatta bread instead of the bread it came with (regular sliced wheat) and nothing was made right. The food was okay. Definitely not worth the $30 we paid for 2 half sandwiches and 2 soup cups. The food looks way better in pictures of when you actually eat there then when ordering take out. They also almost forgot our drinks and when we asked they rudely asked for the receipt as if we were trying to get something for free. The broccoli cheddar soup tasted like the one from subway. I just tried to order here but was ignored. The cashier finished helping the family before me then walked away and never came back. Another girl was standing at the registers filling up the tea and kept staring me dead in my face and refused to acknowledge me. I couldn't even get a simple "we'll be right with you." The one cashier just walked back and forth pretending not to see me while the other girl continued to fill up the tea. After waiting and waiting and waiting some more, I finally left and as I was walking out the door, the girl filling up the tea says "did you need help with something?" Finally! Have been waiting for McAlister's to open in the Far East side. It has finally happened and I couldn't be happier. It is a bit crazy to find the parking, but once you do it the first time, all is clear. The first visit I ordered the veggie spud and sweet tea. Outrageously delicious. The second time I went I did the choose two. I had the potato soup and the jalapeño chicken crunch. The soup was creamy with bits of potato and just a hint of cheese. Very good. The sandwich was just like the sandwiches I used to enjoy in England, where potato chips are in the sandwich! Oh my! I am wonderfully happy. Please also try their signature sweet tea. Wonderful! All in all, all worth the wait. I am so happy to finally have something in the Far East side of town. Thank you, McAlister's. You will probably tire of seeing me at your eatery. Had lunch to go today and man it was ever delicious. I did the pick up at the window. It was super fast. I had the chicken ceaser wrap and it was delicious. My first time going to the new MC Callister's and i ordered a Caesar salad with chicken. But when I got home the salad had no chicken. I was charged $9.43 for lettuce with a few croutons. Seriously?! When I called to inquire about my order I was told I was not charged for the chicken which cost 13.49! What?! I can't afford to spend that kind of money on a salad. This place reminds me of like Jason's deli as far as how the menu looks, but they have some unique items. Slightly pricey, but it was tasty. My husband and I ordered take out yesterday. There was so many items that looked good we decided on the choose 2. We tried the Ruben, roast beef and the French dip. My husband also got potato salad and I got a tortilla soup. The sides were good, the Ruben and Roast beef were good. The French dip was fantastic. I will definitely order this again. We also tried the banana butterscotch pie, it was interesting and really sweet. I am not sure I will have the pie again, it was a little too sweet for me. My only complaint is that the driver forgot our gallon of tea and they deli was not answering the phone when we tried to call. My husband left 2 messages, but so far no one called back. Overall, the food was good and I want to try more. We will be visiting them in person really soon. I would like to see what the inside of the store looks like. read more
