Came here for a work lunch and I was impressed! Cool, modern decor and amazing, fast and friendly service! Began with their great guacamole which was served with chips and their also have some house salsas which have a serious kick and were delicious with the guacamole ! Then enjoyed their cilantro like salad with Achiote Shrimp. It was fresh, and delicious with greens , corn, pumpkin seeds, chipotle- perfect amount of dressing, not too much and the shrimp was cooked perfectly! Great spot for lunch and great service. read more

So disappointing. I've heard so many great things about Morra Mia, but unfortunately the service did not match the hype. We waited about 30 minutes without being greeted, offered water, or even acknowledged by a server. I was visiting from out of town with my artist while on tour, so it was especially disappointing to have this kind of experience. We even tried to get the attention of nearby staff, but no one acknowledged us or let us know if someone would be with us shortly. Sadly, this experience has made it unlikely that I'll return, as it reflects very poorly on the level of service. read more

The food is usually great here. Today we had pozole, flautas ahogadas and birria tacos. Normally, the service could be slow but, our today service was on point. Our server checked on us several times and she refilled our water promptly. The place was fresh and clean. Stop for a refreshment and enjoy the murals and the music. read more

The food was decent. Nothing spectacular about the parrillada plater, it did feed 3 people and we had some left overs. Went for lunch, it wasnt crowded at all and the service was still slow. My biggest gripe was that we all drank waters, they provide tiny glasses for that. Decor was cool tho. read more

The food is delicious and the restaurant is very clean and the staff is friendly and welcoming. We love having Sunday breakfast.

The food and the service Erick provided was great. My son always loves getting the milanesa de pollo, and he's a picky eater and so it's really good that he likes the food here. Each time we have come here, we are greeted with smiles and good service. The atmosphere is fun and lively. Definitely recommend this place. read more

Amazing food and the service was Amazing. Helen was great and made the visit feel like home. The atmosphere is fun and inviting.

Really enjoyed this restaurant to include their unique way of serving their menu options. The decor, music , and customer service was on point. The only issue I see for this location is their parking is horrible. Love how their water is served, gives unique twist. Their food was seasoned and cooked well. read more

We visited Morra MiA and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the enmoladas, which were excellent it really tasted like they make the salsa in house. My family had the birria and some enchiladas, and everyone enjoyed their meals. The flavors were rich, fresh, and clearly made with care. Unfortunately, the service was terrible. Our waitress seemed annoyed from the start and told us that no food modifications were allowed, which was disappointing. Once our food arrived, she never checked on our table again not even once. I actually had to get up to refill my own drink at the bar, and we had to flag down other servers just to get water. Overall, the food is fantastic, but the management really needs to work on training their staff. It's a shame that such great cooking is overshadowed by poor service. read more

There was a good sized crowd when we arrived, but the hostess was able to seat us right away. Water was brought to the table and drink orders were taken. My husband said the house margarita was really good and he's picky about his margaritas! We started with the Green Chile Queso and it was delicious! It also has some guacamole in it and it was a nice texture. The chips were good as well. We heard the molé was good, so I had to have some. I ordered the Enchiladas Molé Poblano and it was so good. It was chocolatey at first and finished with a little spice. Delicious! The service was good, but could be a little better. The space is eclectic and fun and slightly upscale all at once. It's a little dark in there and the music could have been turned down a little. I'd definitely go back! read more

Came here on a road trip through El paso and had to stop for Mexican food and this did not disappoint. Food came out minutes after ordering. Birria was delicious and their el pastor tacos tasted amazing too. Their Mint lemonade cocktail was good however only tasted like mint with tequila. I wouldn't advertise it as a lemonade but it still was delicious and refreshing. read more

This is a new location of an already established restaurant. The menu is very different, very trendy. It claims to have influences from deeper in Mexico rather than border food. I would say the best part of the experience is the decor and the ambience that the restaurant/bar portray. In this experience, we were pretty much ignored when we came in. And sent back to the front to be escorted to our seat. And then they made us wait while they had personal conversations rather than attending to us . There was a lot of staff and workers milling around and not many patrons were at the restaurant when we showed up. But yet everyone was too busy to take care of us. Once we finally decided on some appetizers. We got our drinks and they were very good. We had an appetizer plate that had three things on them, but nothing like I had ever had before. The food was interesting and it was good, but the items that were on our appetizer plate were very greasy. We also had some Queso Fundido that was good. I really liked all the little sayings they had and the messages on the-tables and the walls that were unique. The prices were pretty high, but as I said, it was a trendy brand new place . read more

I was referred to this restaurant by a local that I met at Rosa's Cantina. I had no idea what to expect, but the atmosphere here exceeded by expectation. Great bar area, but I don't see a bad seat in the house. I started at the bar and Raul was very courteous and on top of his game. I started with the chips and Tri salsa... The green sauce is outstanding but they have a salsa that has Worcestershire sauce and it was uniquely good!! I had the pork pozole with red sauce for main dish and it did not disappoint. I would highly recommend trying this place read more

1. Had the tortilla soup with chicken and it was phenomenal! Absolutely loved the crunch, flavors, and appreciated that it was loaded to the rim. Very filling considering it was a cup. 2. Michaladas are top tier. La chorreada was really delicious with mango sweetness and spiciness of the tamaringo sauce. Yum! 3. Service was terrible. The servers were in a corner cage-like room on the phones, chatting, and I could see our waitress having a great time! They all had drinks, and were laughing and joking around. It was packed in the room with waiters. Ive never seen anything like that. Meanwhile we're waiting & waiting to order a dessert & coffee. Finally she came so we asked for our pan dulce, coffee, and the bill because who knows when we would have her attention again. I dont know if she couldn't hear us with the music but she brought us our bill and we had to order again our coffee and dessert. She seemed annoyed, but maybe she did feel bad because she comped us the coffee. I would have preferred better service than a free coffee but i appreciate the effort in trying to make things right. I would never come back and thats hard to say because the tortilla soup & michalada were absolutely flavorful and delicious. Atmosphere was beautiful as well! read more

This is the second location of "Morra Mia" in El Paso, and I'm happy because it is my favorite restaurant, and now it is closer to home. The drinks, food, and customer service are superb. The parking lot is tight and small, so FYI, be careful. I visited on a Friday evening, and it was not as busy, but I'm sure it was because the restaurant had recently opened. Eventually, more people were willing to find out and will be very busy. The pozole serving is vast and delicious, and the quesabirria is terrific. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and has a trendy ambiance. read more

I recommend this place as far as food wise goes. Let me go into detail. The food was amazing. Drinks were good too and the ambiance was a really good vibe. There was music and the lights were perfect, it matched the music. What threw me off a little was the service. When we walked in, they were friendly but the waitress that helped wasnt as friendly, she wasnt rude either but a kik of 'spice' in the service was there. If you know what I mean. Aside from that the food and price was good. read more

Not sure what the low reviews are about with this spot because not only did they provide the fix I needed for delicious mole, but the vibe/aesthetic of the inside is ! Now, I will say that I had to wait a little longer than usual for my food to come out because another server took my mole, but the cook came out from the back and made sure everything was nice and even brought out more mole for me. A win in my book for sure! Service at the bar was quick and attentive. Definitely will revisit this spot! read more

This place is good, parking is horrible but can be worked around if you have time flexibility. Have had breakfast and loved it so much I return to try lunch a few weeks later(which was today). Our meal was a birria combo plate not bad & while I'm fully aware this isn't a fat free plate. The excessive amount of oil on the bottom of the food was entirely too much. At the end of our meal I asked to purchase some queso dip to go. I was given this paper container in a cup carrier! I was expecting perhaps 8 oz to go dip. That I would gladly pay for, not expecting a freebie but come on $ 5 for this? Needless to say I didn't have any luck getting the waitress attention as she was chatting up front with someone just as she did thru the entire meal. read more

Food is really good I got the enchiladas verdes, I sat at the bar, the bartender was attentive and made me the best cubano drink. Hostess was really polite, I tried to put my bike inside the establishment, but the manager was really rude about it, she just said no bikes allowed inside and left. I wish I could enjoy my meal without having to keep looking outside to check if my bike is stolen. She needs to learn more about customer service, it was an easy fix. read more

The place has a good vibe with great decor. The food was delicious for four of us celebrating 2 birthdays. We even had staff sing to us. However, the service was so bad! The waitress told us she did not understand English and to ask questions and order in Spanish. So cool we speak Spanish. We received our water carafe with mint tasted good. We asked for ice because water was not cold. It took several requests about the ice, tea, and sodas ordered if they were coming. After going to front to inquire about our drinks and ice it finally arrived about 35 minutes later. Then very young waitress returned to take our orders. After being there for 45 minutes she returned to ask if the pozole ordered was in a bowl or cup ?? It was obvious she had not put in the orders or correct o4ders. We waited about an hour for our food. After we finished we asked for separate checks and menu to order alcohol drinks. Waitress brought one menu! And the separate checks that were incorrect!! Then she returned and handed us 2 to 3 different checks for each one of us...WHAT!!! waitress went back to correct them and returned with different checks that didn't even belong to us. By this time we just wanted to leave and did not order alcohol drinks. We tried to figure out which was the correct ones or close to it and we paid. So frustrating tat after the laughter of our lunch we were frustrated and upset ruining our get together. So our first time experience was horrible because of the service. Disappointment because the ambience and food was good. read more

Modern and hip interior design. Music about as loud as a nightclub making it difficult to hold a conversation without raising the voice. TV screens just about on every wall which I believe makes absolutely no sense considering one is there to eat and not watch tv. The food is mediocre at best and on the salty side and very pricey $$$$. The waitress was obviously new and not very experienced. First and last time for us. read more

Morra Mia - Botanas: Market Garnacha Platter (9) 3 Chalipitas De Guerrero, 3 Mini Jack Quesadillas, 3 Sopes w/Chorizo. - Bars Near Me - El Paso, Texas

I just spent 25$ on a breakfast, getting the least expensive egg dish item on the menu and coffee. This is outrageous. It was huevos divorciados at $14 and coffee at $4 plus tax and tip. The food was good but not special and it lacked several items usually served with breakfast in El Paso, it did not include a breakfast potato/hashbrown, also no salsa and no chips. Just the eggs and my coffee. also the green and red chile were not chile. but a tomatillo sauce pickled and a tomato sauce. It seems to be a place for those who dont care about what they spend for food or a rich ladies business or meeting place in the morning. I don't recommend this if you are concerned your paying a fair price for your food. There are plenty of breakfast places with equal food at a fair price (and tostadas/salsa and potatoes.) The MOST should spend in EP for a breakfast is abou$14 total. read more

Food was great just the service from Rulo was horrible.. looked like if he was bothered every time we asked for something. Picked up the plates before we were done and took his time coming back to see if we needed anything. This place is absolutely disgusting! It's ridiculous how much effort the owners put into the aesthetics instead of the food.
