Fantastic brunch spot! I've been here about 3 times since I've moved to El Paso and it has yet to disappoint. The mimosas are always a solid choice. I believe they have 6-7 flavors? I usually go with the grapefruit but I tried the peach last time and it didn't disappoint. The ceviche is always our go to for a starter. I will say that some times the tuna is cut a little bigger than other times we've had it, but overall it has the perfect amount of lemon. The focaccia Benedict was superb. The brisket had a lot of flavor! Last time we came we were quoted about an hour wait. It went by much quicker than that. They took our number and texted us. It was just enough time to walk over to 2Ten and enjoy a pre-brunch coffee. read more

The restaurant is beautiful and I'm always happy with my meal and the service but I do wish they'd lower the music. It's hard to enjoy a conversation with the music so loud. I'd love to take my parents here because I know they'd enjoy the food and ambiance but it's too loud for them. read more

WOW. Best patio dining experience in El Paso by far. If you didn't know, 150 Sunset is not only a kitchen, but they are also a banquet venue and are landscaping specialists. As 150 Sunset states on their menu, "Creative Food with a Healthy Twist" and I couldn't agree more. I came in for lunch and tried the Tuna Ceviche and the Chicken Salad Sandwich. The Chicken Salad was a bit dry in the sandwich, despite being served in a croissant. I would like to give credit to the Tuna Ceviche. The ceviche was delicious, refreshing and the perfect summer appetizer. What made it so unique was the cucumbers. Pretty sure they could have added watermelon to this and it would have elevated this plate. read more

Let me first say that the decor is on point. We found this gem on yelp and it didn't disappoint. The staff was very courteous and accommodating. We had Ilsa as our server which was a wonderful experience. She was very beautiful and also took very good care of us. Secondly the food was GREAT!!! Who would have thunk that yogurt and walnuts would go on Brussel Sprouts. Definitely a must if you go through El Paso... read more

Who loves breakfast? Guilty as charged. The kitchen at 150 isn't just any old place to grab breakfast, lunch, or dinner. This is an entire estate...A nursery, a kitchen, a gift shop, an outdoor space, and an overall event venue. The operation itself it quite impressive. As beautiful as the property is, I'm solely here for the food. Challah French toast, when executed well, might be my favorite breakfast item of all. Unfortunately I can't say this was a good version. The toast does have a nice sear. The flavors themselves were absolutely on point. Not sure if it's nutmeg, but there is a unique ingredient is this batter that sets it apart. Unfortunately the one criticism that pretty much negates the entire dish is the challah itself. To be frank, the bread was stale. A good challah is not required to be knifed through like a piece of steak. The Kitchen has a lot going for it, so I won't be a complete grinch. Ill be willing to give it another go. read more

My husband and I eat here every weekend and cringe every time we get one specific server. She always has an attitude, never refills drinks, and doesn't know the menu. Other than that it's always been a great experience. read more

Where to start for this great brunch restaurant. The food is really good and the portions are that of a true meal so don't underestimate them. The service is always friendly and helpful. The ambiance is one you could hardly beat with the option to dine in or out in their beautiful garden like exterior. On their busiest days dont be surprised to do some waiting, like on the weekends. But if you're willing to go with the rules of time and space then you won't regret it. Specially when going for my favorite, the Aloha Pancakes! Bon Appétit, les amis! read more

Why didn't anyone tell me this place exists in Hell Paso?!! It was my first time here last weekend after a very long hike, and I'm def going back!!! I'm taking my girlfriends here for brunch next time. It's hard to find places with mimosa around here, but this one is at the top of the list! Wow, I've tried three different flavors while waiting for our table. I think my fav is the watermelon mimosa. The food didn't disappoint too. As far as the place itself, there are a lot of sitting areas while you wait. This place has a relaxed atmosphere where you can dress casually or show up all dolled up and still blend in. It is my new fav brunch a lot in town now. read more

***NEVER FOR GROUP SPECIAL OCASSION CELEBRATION *** Awful experience celebrating with group of friends, Jasmine Aragon, the "manager", total lack of customer service, making racists comments, turning off air conditioner off to make our stay uncomfortable and making us leave as soon as possible. Will definitely NOT be going back and will advise my customers and family members, NOT to go there. Very unfortunate they have "managers" such as Jasmine, running the place; such a beautiful restaurant with good food but TERRIBLE service. read more

This place is gorgeous and we wanted to love it. The service was great and the space was beautiful, but there were two issues. 1) extremely loud. The music was blasting so much that it made conversation uncomfortable. 2) one of the dishes we got was disappointing. We went there for the challah French toast, specifically and found it to be more beautiful than tasty. It came with two pieces, both of which were about 3 inches thick! That kind of cut made it impossible to actually taste like French toast. The other dish we got was the roast turkey sandwich, which was fine. Anyway, if you go there, we don't recommend trying the French toast, no matter how beautiful it looks. read more

150 Sunset - Bruschetta was amazing and perfect for me. - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - El Paso, Texas

We've been to 150 Sunset for breakfast a few times and have always enjoyed it. The food is prepared very well and flavorful. I usually get the 150 Omelet and it comes out delicious and perfectly cooked every time. The service is very good, the severs are attentive and make sure everything is the way you ordered it. The restaurant is very nice and in a good location, they have a patio area as well as plenty of room inside. They only do breakfast, brunch and lunch but well worth going for their breakfast/brunch items. read more

Have come here frequently since it opened. Service at lunch on a not too busy Sunday was just awful. Had to ask three times for virtually everything. Case in point, Ketchup. Wouldn't a waiter anticipate and bring ketchup along with any entree that included french fries? How about cream and sweaters when delivering coffee to the table? Nope, not here. 20 minute or longer wait for each after reminder after reminder. The person who delivered the food can't get ketchup? Says, "ask your server." Really? Doesn't consider himself a server' after serving the table plates of food. ?? Have none of these people ever eaten out at a restaurant themselves? Really poorly trained, lacking any intuition and completely clueless. Food is fine. Just don't visit when it's busy. read more

I came back 1 week later after hiking Mt. Cristo Rey and had a quite a negative experience. I do not know if part of our bad experience was because we came with comfortable hiking cloths or what but the Costumer Service was terrible and our food was cold. When arrived we knew we wanted to sit outside by the TVs and after waiting to be seated I approached one of the staff cleaning the tables, she said I had to go inside to ask. I went inside they asked our whole party to come inside, made us walk all around the real to bring us all back to where we were originally at. Our waiter Robert when getting our drink order did not wait for me to finish speaking and left. I was ready to order appetizers and Mimosas. Our food arrived cold. I did not love the "Huevos Rancheros" the sweet cheese sauce do not go well with them. Breakfast Tacos also I do not recommend. Cold and the tortillas taste too much like low quality store bought. Overall, our waiter did not visit our table but once, when I requested a Mimosa he said he could not serve due to Texas law, I asked why dis the person next to me had one, he said because she had food in-front of her. I did too but I did not feel like arguing all I replied was "Well, that's interesting" and looked at my food. When he brought us the bill I immediately pulled out my card and was ready to pay. At this point I was ready to leave due to the negative experience, our waiter never came back for the bill, I had to take it to the hostess. After this experience I will likely not come back at least for a good while. I give it 2 stars because my previous positive experience and the place looks nice otherwise just 1 or none if it was possible. (Original Review 5 out of 5) The Kitchen at 159 Sunset is a lovely restaurant on the west side of El Paso Tx. The name is genius for it is the restaurant's address and makes sense because it is kinda in a hidden location. Now there are other restaurants near it and little plaza mall but it is not as open for everyone passing by the I-10 the freeway to know where it is. The concept of this restaurant rocks. Modern yet relaxed and family friendly. They have a beautiful outside garden with relaxing fountains where you may sit by to have your meal. The awesome thing about this restaurant is that it is dog friendly, you are allowed to bring your dogs and have them with you while you are having your meal. They will even bring a bowl with fresh water for them. LOVe It. Service dogs are allowed inside, the rest only outside. What it is not awesome is that even if your pet behaves indoors it is not allowed inside and thats not nice in a hot summer day. The food is delicious with perfect servings. Not huge yet not tiny. Healthy. The menu is not huge yet it covers the basics in delicious food ways. Do check before you go because they host events where they close the whole place. read more

This is our second time coming here for brunch. Came here on a Sunday and they have a different menu for that day, see picture. Restaurant is split with a large event room and restaurant. Very cute decor and nice outside seating on a patio in and out of the shade. We ordered the breakfast tacos ($10), fruit and granola bowl with steamed milk ($6), and eggs Benedict ($11). We also ordered cheesecake to go ($7). Breakfast tacos were delicious and would highly recommend. Note you have to pay $2 to get bacon on them. Granola bowl was a nice side, healthy option but nothing special, and eggs Benedict were tasty but they were very scant on hollandaise sauce. Service is friendly but a little slow but it may be because they have always been busy when we come. I'd recommend coming here. It's the best brunch place in the El Paso area that we've tried. read more

Amazing quality food. Perfect brunch date with friends or your significant other. The coffee is delicious as well.

Eggs Benedict is my go to breakfast meal. I ordered their version of an eggs Benedict, and although I do prefer a traditional Benedict, it was still good. I also had the granola bowl which was tasty as a healthy sweet option. The outdoor seating is nice as well! read more

I love the place! We are coming home from Florida by driving a car and stoped by this place for lunch. Since we gained an hour from east coast we got there around 11:30. We have two dogs so we sat on patio. I ordered French toast and today's soup:green chili potato and bacon, and my husband ordered veggie omelette and a half stack of pancakes. Mine was great. Nice soup and French toast was huge and use fresh fruits. His pancake tastes nah, but his veggie omelette tastes good. It seems like a popular place so expect to wait unless you sit outside(there were heaters). The service was a bit slow and we had to ask one of waitress who started serving other group came after us. Also they served me a cup of decaf with someone's lipstick on it. That's why one less star. read more

This place is goooood , they have delicious mimosas , and they're only like 2-3 dollars a glass ! Their breakfast menu is really good. Service is good. Decor inside is really cute and quaint. Great place to go on a date, or even with your friends ! The only thing is this place is really popular and you can end up potentially waiting a long time to get a table. I'd def recommend this place though ! read more

I ordered the pork sandwich, it was tiny and cold with way more bread then pork, the little pork that was in the sandwich was very bland. The side of sweet potato fries was cold. I also ordered a side of chorizo, it was ok, but also cold. They were out of the three beers that I was interested in, the one that I did order was warm, I had to get a side of ice which watered it down. For the price this place is definitely NOT worth it. The only good thing about this place was the service, I will not be going back. read more

I saw some posts asking for great brunch places, probably because of Mother's Day and I realized I forgot to review The Kitchen at 150 Sunset. Mind you I went last year, so things might have changed, but I enjoyed the food and the green ambiance. It was very busy but our servers made us feel special. It is definitely pricey for El Paso, though very creative with flavors and the food presentation is beautiful. Their portions aren't huge but the quality is there. It's definitely a special occasion place as it doubles as a wedding venue. Break fast was very good! BUT the charcuterie board that I bought to go was terrible for $26. The Chef's cheese selection is very limited: two slices of mozzarella and 10 little cubes of chedar. What a selection! Half sliced apple and half sliced pear. Some left over nuts. My mistake was not to ask about what was included in the board and review the ingredients before leaving the restaurant. Do not ask for this from the menu. read more

Ok I know it seems like everyone has been here before, but we found it by scrolling the internet I wanted mimosas, sun and sunny side eggs while enjoying the perfect sunday weather; well guess what? We found it at 150 Sunset. For a start I love that as we were parking I felt like I was in vacation everything seemed different like I was in another city, the place is so beautiful with the garden and water fountains oh my God absolutely gorgeous. As we walk in we noticed there was a 20 minute wait as you may or may not know by now I DO NOT LIKE to wait at all, but this place made it easy for us, they offered us mimosas and small muffins to ease down my hunger and we head outside to enjoy the view and the sun while we waited to be called. When I tell you it was a delightful waiting I'm being honest people were having breakfast outside, the sun was hitting right and the wind made me enjoy myself as minivacation style. They called us aprox 20 minutes later and they gave us the option to seat inside or outside, like I already said the weather was amazing so we decided outside. The menu has many delightful options, I had the croquete my BF had the french toast and we had mimosas until I lost count. Great service, so kind and answering all the question we had about the menu items, and above all he kept bringing those mimosas :D I seriously enjoyed my time here, everything from the place the food (which didn't disappoint at all) and the whole vibe of the place. I definitely want to go back with friends or bring my parents, it's a place to have a date, brunch with the girls or family reunion. read more

Previously would give this place a 5/5 but the last few times have not been that great. Today was horrible. Andrea was our server and her attitude screams that she hates her job. Asked for no cheese, due to a dairy allergy and came out with cheese and yogurt, asked for med rare and got well done steak. Not a good experience at all after an hour wait and an 80$ bill. Definitely will be back for another try but will never have Andrea take care of us again. read more

This was my second time going. My sister, her friend and I were the only Blacks there. While it may not mean anything to anyone when you are the only people of color you stand out and it took over 15 minutes for anyone to even greet us. We initially started outside and once a table became available inside they moved us. Food was horrible. I tried 3 different drinks and they were all horrible. The manager was nice enough to comp our entire meal. There were flies flying around everywhere and when I addressed it they said it's a known issue at the table we were sitting. If this is known then you shouldn't sit customers at a table that is prone to such. Would not recommend or be back. read more

My family and I visited for Saturday brunch and were seated immediately outside. We sat there for 10 minutes waiting for someone to bring us water and take our order. After 15 minutes being completely ignored we asked one of the bus girls if she could send our waiter out or just bring us waters in the scorching heat. She ignored us. We went inside to ask the manager if someone could take our order and were told yes. 25 minutes passed, and when we tried multiple employees what was going on they literally brushed passed us without making eye contact. Please take a look at my extensive Yelp reviews- I have NEVER been so appalled by service or lack thereof at a restaurant. What we experienced at 150 Sunset went beyond being "too busy"- everyone including the manager had total disregard for service and respect. Will not be returning. read more

What an shame! The fact that they are in such a potentially great outdoor space and have the unique opportunity to serve a community that has been waiting for great food- but alas!
