I love coming and grabbing an Açaí bowl with a friend. Music isn't too loud and it's actually a lovely place to study. Staff is nice and for the most part leave you alone (in a good way). The ambience is very down to earth. The Nutella açaí bowl with cacao nibs is my favorite but I also really enjoy the Ginger Sky juice for something refreshing and the Pecan Party Smoothie for something more filling. All locations in EP are excellent. read more

I love it here. It took me forever to make it to the East Side Tippi Teas, but I have gone twice on the past week. They obviously have tons of loose leaf tea, but they also have juices, smoothies, smoothie bowls, a few baked goods, and vegan rolled ice cream (heck yes, dairy free options!!) They also sell tea accessories, local honey, incense, and other fun things. The ladies working in the afternoon the first time I went we're charming and fun-I ordered some tea to go and have tried them all since, and they were fabulous (Skinny Tea, a Rooibos Strawberry Cream Tea I am in love with, and a Yerba Mate Chai! Of course none of these are truly "tea", but wonderful nonetheless). And I came by during the week as well-I got a large Ginger Sky juice with agave (that was really good....but, wow, way too huge) and also a black tea that was Cookie flavored. It made me a little sad it was forgotten about and oversteeped, so it was a little bitter and just short of hot, but I would get it again. I like adding almond milk to bring out the sweet flavors, and it was still very good. I stayed to get some work done and it was cool in there despite the hot day and the large windows in the front, and they had solid internet and plenty of outlets. There will be more workdays spent here. read more

Tippi Teas - Gigantic-sized Ginger Sky (no agave) - Coffee & Tea Near Me - El Paso, Texas

Finally had the opportunity to drop into Tippi Teas and see what it's all about. Walking in, you know right away that this place knows their tea! A wall of several dozen tea options meets you. For a simple consumer of black tea, green tea or matcha tea , if I'm feeling adventurous, I wasn't quite sure where to start so I asked for a recommendation - "what's closest to a simple black tea"? Golden Monkey and Silver Phoenix were recommended so I asked for one of each, sweetened with guava. After individually brewing both, the teas were served cold over ice, as requested. The sitting environment seems very calm and relaxing. Obviously the COVID issue has changed their setup but still several options to sit and enjoy your tea. The teas were high quality - stronger brews than I generally drink but with a little more sweetener or maybe some milk/cream next time will fix that. There's plenty to work with for future visits! read more

Okay, I will just get down to it. Picture a Starbucks but with healthy smoothies, juices and teas. When it's steadily over 100 degrees in El Paso it's the perfect spot! The vibe you get is bright, airy, zenish, floral and open. Are the drinks overpriced? Sure! But so is Starbucks right? They are also healthier and more nutritious! Along with the great atmosphere and yummy drinks there is wifi without the crowds at other coffee shops. Tippee Teas is definately my summer spot. I have tried about three different drinks and all are good. My only complaint is the budgeting I am gonna have to do to be a frequent customer. Oh. And they have a rewards program. Something about getting stars to add up until you get a discount or freebie. Also, if you have the cashapp it will tally the stars for you without any signup or anything. Yeah for AI?!? read more

These are the best acai bowls I've EVER had. I always get the Berry Loco bowl and add peaches, and it never disappoints! I moved out of El Paso about a year ago, but come get their bowls every time I'm in town. I've tried finding a place that compare's to this one, but can't find any that have the right consistency, thickness, or freshness. Acai Bowls are a 5/5, the only reason I am giving a 4 is because their service is never friendly, and the girls are always very monotone and don't really say anything to me, suggesting I can begin ordering. read more

I've been wanting to try this place forever and it did not disappoint. They have an extensive amount of loose leaf tea options. I tried the coconut chai tea latte. It was very good. You able to specify how much sweetener you would like from honey to sugars. I also tried their verde bowl. It was super yummy. I thought the cucumber would be weird, but it added a nice texture to the bowl. As with most bowls, it was a little on the pricey side, but it was super filling. I'm looking forward to what I will try next time I stop by! read more

I had heard about this place but never ventured to it. The kiddo and I were driving by and she right away asked if we could try it. U know me I can't say no to my kiddo lol so we stopped. Cute place with a wall teas. It's confusing for a first timer but the staff is somewhat helpful but not very explanatory. I think they should have a menu of the types of teas not just look at the teas on the wall as u get overwhelmed like that. The kiddo got a juice and fruit bowl that was packed and so so yummy! We both ate from it and still had some left. Will we be back? Probably. read more

It was about noon after I had finished helping a mate with his shed and was cycling Southbound on great George Dieter when this newly-opened eatery (Tippi Teas) at the junction with OK-in-places/pitifully-poor-in-others Pellicano made my stomach growl louder. There is a bike rack, but it was in full Sun, so I parked close by in the shade. This was my first time ever here, and it was absolutely delightful; great waitstaff, healthy food, and its first Eastside location, though owner/operator Jose told me the Westside site had been there for seven years. Regardless, I was ecstatic about this wonderful restaurant, and certainly give it my enthusiastic "Wheel of Approval!" read more

This magical concoction called Tropical detox, required 30 minutes of creation time. Unfortunately, I do not have 30 mins to wait for a smoothie. It tasted ok, very earthy. While waiting, the employee continued to take multiple tea orders and fulfill those orders prior to mine. I wasn't given a reason for the wait time or an apology. The place is super cute, maybe I'll go again in a couple of months. read more

This is the kind of place that I wish I could go to on a regular basis! I love my coffees but I"m really also into tea! This is a must for tea lovers, there is so much variety here that you will definitely get your fix. The staff here are also super friendly! Every single time I've went in they are so cheerful and make great recommendations. I've also gotten some of the wellness shots they have which give you a nice jolt of energy. This place also has ice cream and smoothie but I would go for the tea. The inside is super cute and relaxing, I enjoy the earthy tones and the smell of tea. They also have a variety of products for sale like tea accessories and candles. Overall? I will miss this place and hope that they open up in NYC! read more

Great place! If you are looking for healthy finds, non dairy alternatives and super smoothies. This is your place! If you are looking for the sugary stuff.. not your cup of tea tea is brewed to order with a HIGH variety of items to choose from. I could probably spend an insane amount of time going through their selection of teas and matcha options. From black, green, herbal.. they have it. Smoothies include fresh fruits, veggies, almond butters and alternative milks. Staff super friendly and helpful with helping me choose and their sit-in has a relaxing welcoming feel. Missed a star just because their smoothie menu is long and complex. Shows lots of smoothie options with ingredients but for a newbie having a little bit of a flavor description would be great. They have crazy throw ins that you can't really guess what it would taste like. Pricing is good for the quality and I love that you can purchases they loose leaf teas on the spot! read more

Let me start off by saying I absolutely LOVE the açaí bowls from this establishment and I've never once had a bad experience up until recently. I went to get my regular (chuco bowl) but noticed an up-charge. My first thought was that the prices increased and that's no big deal for me, I was just confused because it was nearly $4 extra than what i usually pay. Initially I didn't want to question it, but I had to be sure I was charged correctly. When I approached the cashier she appeared confused and flustered because she couldn't pull my receipt. I'm not sure if it was because she was new or she didn't want to tell me she made a mistake. I mean, she did make a mistake by charging me an item I didn't request for but that was fine! I understand mistakes happen and I wouldn't have been upset had she just told me. The reason I became upset was because the other employee...(presumably a manager but im not sure) came off as unapproachable and was extremely rude while handling the whole situation. She did not once apologize or try to explain what had happened. She simply shrugged it off and told me I'd see the money back in my account in a few days. She also didn't say a word to me as she handed my order. Before this, I've always felt welcomed and have never once had a bad experience from any employees at Tippi Teas. As someone who also works in the food industry, I understand how frustrating it is to deal with fixing someone else's mistakes as well as customers in general, but it was so upsetting to be treated like I was a being a rude customer when I wasn't. To top it all off, my bowl wasn't even filled all the way...Not sure if I'm returning after this horrible experience :( read more

Beach bowl WOW!!!! Amazing!! Fresh!! Not to mention the well shots, takes some getting used to but they are good for you

The teas are inconsistent but for the most part decent. What makes this place 1 to 2 stars would be the customer service. Each time I've come the customer service has just been out right awful. No greetings to the customers. Just an awkward stare. They have a huge menu and instead of asking if we have any questions or help etc. they will just say "what can I get you" if you say you don't know they say ok, and head to the back to talk instead of offering recommendations this is done on a "good" customer service day. on a bad they'll just stand there staring at you. No smiles , not friendly or welcoming whatsoever. The vibe of the place is trying really hard to be spiritually friendly, yoga , self- healing, hippy type of place which attracted me initially but the customer service is anything but this. They need to train their employees to be friendlier, greet the customers (this is the bare minimum), answer/ask questions, make recommendations etc. they all seem really young and with the right management can really change things around. I do not blame the employees as they are all just doing what is being taught to from management and from previous reviews it seems management doesn't care. Do better. Coming from Arizona, these type of spiritual places are common and they do a whole lot better in making the customer feel wanted and welcome. The açaí bowl was overpriced but good, the smoothie was super good. Good product, just really terrible customer service. read more

Good matcha teas and smoothies! Great atmosphere. Has some outside seating and if you need that. Definitely a good pick me up.

I waiting almost 10 mins to be greeted to order a simple tea for my daughter. Two employees working but really no system in place to make the guest a priority. I hate being told "1 sec" and then 9 mins later, they remember you are there. It seems like they are playing catch up from closing duties of previous shift or day. Either way, it seems the guest is not the priority today...maybe they should be reminded of that. I think another employee was eating lunch or taking a break during a peak period, because one who just eating decided to go behind the counter, and she didn't even was her hands during a pandemic. Disappointing visit and we come here often. read more
