I'm on the fence if I liked it or not. Today I came in and looking for some tasty boba and tea. There was plenty of options on the menu to choose from but I went with the fresh brew Jasmine green tea with the tapioca pearls. The barista was so sweet and kind allowing me to taste test the sweetness level with the tea! They were very helpful and quick too when it came to the final order. The atmosphere itself was fine. It seemed clean and there was a lot of seating areas for people. Nice patio too. The drink itself turned out to be ok. The tapioca was actually not bad but I think it was just too plain. There wasn't enough brown sugar syrup on them so it tasted slightly plasticy... the tea itself wasn't bad but it could have been maybe instead of 50% sweetened we could do 75%. See what happens then.. I don't know if I like this spot. It was very pricey for average tea so I'm going to have to think on it. It's not a bad option and if you want a wide variety of menu this is the place to go to! read more

Overall: 4.6/5 (take out) We within 1 hour of closing on a Monday night. All the workers were together talking by the cash register but when we came in, they dispensed and we were greeted. The two taking my order were really sweet, and the drinks came out right away. While they made our drinks, we took photos at the decor wall. The menu is extensive with so many possible combinations so I had to review it beforehand so I knew what to order before I came in. This would be my go to place if I lived in the area. It's spacious enough to bring friends and family to hang out as well! 22 Oz Ca Phe Bac Xiu With Mini Pearls: This was really good. It's a lighter version of Vietnamese coffee so less strong in terms of coffee and sweetness from the condensed milk. It went really well with the mini pearls which is rarely offered at boba shops these days. I only took 2 sips so the caffeine doesn't mess up my sleep. 22 Oz Taro Coconut Smoothie With Taro Pudding: This was a really great combination. I didn't really taste how sweet it was until a few sips in so you have to constantly stir the drink as the ice melts so the sweetness doesn't concentrate at the bottom. The coconut flavor does stand out a bit more than the taro but you can still taste it. The taro pudding was soft and complimented the drink since it didn't give an overpowering taro taste. read more

The bobas were from mediocre to great depending on what you order. I ordered the lychee slushie with agar boba. It was a bit too sweet for my taste but it will do. I love how they have a variety of toppings. The ambience was nice and clean. The service was great. This place definitely close to California's boba places. With the current COVID precautions in place, we ordered through the website for curbside pickup. We ordered 7 drinks in all - 2 boba teas (a black tea w/ aloe, a green team w/ mango gel), 4 smoothies (2 mango w/ mango gel, 1 Pina colada w/ mango gel, 1 strawberry w/ strawberry burster pearls) & 1 strawberry lemonade slushie w/ passion fruit burster pearls. So happy to live near to get my boba fix!! This is a gem especially coming from California where boba cafe is a popular choice just as having a coffee shop. They have parking on the Main Street or behind in the parking lot with limited parking shared among other shops and residency. However parking is manageable and many people are in and out. The customer service is awesome! The manager here is so helpful and friendly! Even though they get busy the consistency of service and quality of boba has been superb! Love the variety of sizes provided along with the other options of beverages such as slushes, smoothies, Viet coffee, etc Great one stop to quench all your family thirst with options and satisfactory! I highly recommend the Viet Coffee it is my husband's favorite if you are a coffee lover! I love boba and I love Thai tea so I love that I can have that option here especially with them accommodating with vegan option using soy or coconut milk. Waited over half an hour for one Oolong cream tea. I placed the order ahead of time online and when I entered the older female with glasses said "sorry you need to wait twenty more minutes". A room full of over twenty people. This female was making the teas and placing them on the counter not calling anyone to get them. She kept touching the tops of the teas for no reason, just you graving the tops and didn't wipe them after. After half an hour two other workers came from behind didn't seem to help. At the end I don't know what they gave me I've been here before. It's clear it was something half way done. I recommend the other boba place on Doniphan instead. This place should offer a refund! Teapioca is a decent chain bubble tea place. It's in a great location in the Monticello area with other solid places for food/ drinks nearby. The store itself is a nice place to hang out. They have comfy sofas as well as tables inside and outside. They also have a play area for little kids and a table with games on it. The drink selection is pretty solid with a nice mix of teas, slushies and juices. The price for the drinks is also very fair as well costing between 4-6 dollars per drink. It's always so creamy and full of sweetness in every slurp that the boba only keeps adding to every delicious component it has. You can now choose to sit inside where you can play some fun games electronically in this table/tablet while you wait for your order to come out. The parking is never too packed even though it's not the most spacious. The view you get in the outside sitting area is not bad at all either. Especially when you are enjoying it in sundown. Ambiance - Lots of windows and natural lighting. It's spacious with more couches then tables, so I don't think studying here is super ideal but is possible. There's even a little play area for little kids with toys. Service - They try to get your order out to you as fast as they can, so I'm usually in and out w/in 5 minutes. Food - Skip the milk tea (aka cream blastea) and go for their taro or thai. For some reason, the taro milk tea at all the teapioca lounges are always good while their milk tea is always a bit lacking compared to other chains. Their smoothies are also good - oreo recommended. This has been my GO TO boba spot since I have moved to the area. I love they have a 44oz cup :) My favorite drink is Green Cream Blastea (jasmine or green milk tea) with boba. I often order a passion green tea with aloe vera & basil seed. I can imagine if this place sold popcorn chicken like most boba spot, they would be so busy every night. Right now it's been good without it, but some time you want a snack and what they do offer like chips doesn't goes well with boba and hanging out in the store. Tbh, I go to Teapicoa every week, if I can. There was one time when I came here Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in order to study and get my boba fix. This is THE best boba I've had in the Las Cruces/El Paso area. Again, if this were in SoCal it would be a 3.5 to maybe 4 stars, but a 5 in El Paso because it's... well, the best they have. I like that the drinks are customizable and you can add any type of boba, jelly, pudding, or even basil seeds into your drinks. You can pick from a selection of milk teas that have different flavors (cantaloupe, almond, classic milk to name a few), or pick a non-milk black/green/oolong/white tea and add flavor shots and a topping. I usually order the green tea with honey and boba, and it's a solid choice. This time around, I decided to get green tea with basil seeds and winter melon. The winter melon is not strong at all, and I'll probably end up getting 2 shots of syrup instead of 1 next time to see if that brings out the winter melon flavor I'm craving. The only gripe I have is that charging 50¢ for a shot of honey is rather expensive, especially given that wintermelon shots are only 25¢. I'm pretty sure wintermelon syrup is more of a rare commodity than honey, so I'm not sure why it's priced so differently. I also think that they could amp up their game by cutting up small pieces of fruit to put into the boba teas. JUST A SUGGESTION, but if Teapioca could make it possible to add strawberry/peach bits into their green/black tea, they'd make the fruit-tea drinker in me very happy. I promise y'all that's what people are all about these days bc fruit in teas make for a refreshing combo~ But other than that, pls keep doing you, teapioca. But also maybe make the WiFi stronger because it's patchy sometimes. :) read more

Im so delighted that a boba place has opened up close to me! I'm a huge fan of boba teas and love having a variety of jellies, bobas and pudding to add to my drinks - which this place has! I ordered the Cream Blastea, Taro coconut smoothie, Oreo cookie smoothie and Mangonado. They were OKAY. I don't know if they offer different levels of sweetness like most boba places I've been to in the past. Many boba places offer 25, 50, 100% sweetness to their teas based on customers preference. The Cream Blastea was sugar-free, I was so disappointed. BUT, the flavor was there, milky and smooth, and the boba pearls were perfectly chewy. Imagine drinking ice tea...without sugar. So next time I will have to inquire about sugar levels. Both the smoothies need more flavor. They tasted too icy and watered down. The best tasting one we got on our visit was the Mangonada; very well balanced. Teapioca can use some minor improvements to make their teas taste better. Also, I would suggest letting their tapioca/boba pearls soak in sugar liquid instead of water. It would make them taste better instead of being so plain. They were perfectly cooked, not too soft, not to hard; very good chewy texture. Not the best boba tea place I've been to but I will definitely be back and recommend to all my friends. This place was amazing! Despite coming from San Diego and New York City in general, I don't have high expectations for boba in many places. However, I have to agree with a lot of reviewers here and how they praise this place. The variety of their drinks on the menu is massive, which makes selecting a drink quite difficult. I ended up choosing the taro cream blast (taro being one of my favorite flavors) and it was the creamiest taro boba I've ever tried. Normally I will just resort to regular taro milk tea but they definitely did something that made the creaminess so much more distinct. The seating here is also super cozy. Bubble Tea: Very fresh and the bubbles are always cooked perfectly. They have SOOOOO many different flavor options that you will always be able to get whatever you're craving. I went with the mango shaved ice the first time. It was pretty tasty! It had a milky flavor with mango chunks in it. The second time I went, the girl wasn't as friendly. She was just ok. She was hesitant to answer questions or ask her boss about a Yelp check-in offer so I dropped it. I hate when you ask questions and people act like it bothers them. I wasn't in the mood to 'disturb' this young girl so I dropped it. I ordered a mango slushie and it was good. I think I liked it more than the mango shaved ice. It's a bit pricey here but ok once in awhile, especially when it's hot outside. They have a few specials going on throughout July on some of their items. Teapioca is sort of hidden. The way I found it is by getting on Argonaut or Castellano. It's sort of close to the Angry Owl Cafe. If you've been to The Holy Grail, it's below it.
