I love stopping at Tippi Teas on my way home from the gym on Sunday mornings for an Açaí Bowl. The yogi bowl is my favorite. It has great flavor and texture. Personally I like to eat half and put the rest in the freezer for the next day. The doniphan location is so quaint, I love the side room and the way the light comes in. I'm not a tea drinker but it's not called Tippi TEAS for nothing.. they have lots of different kinds of loose leaf teas, teapots, teacups, as well as branded to go cups. You can even get your Nag Champa here when you're running low!

Iced green tea, don't remember the specific variety. It was decent, nothing special.

Stopped in here for juice in the road. After driving so long with no fresh food in sight I was so pleased to have found this establishment. It was one of the only places in town that sells made to order pressed juice (how is that possible in a city this large?), and they were also one of the few open still at 6pm! Go figure. The juice was delicious and fresh! We also tried a variety of green tea but we were less enthused by that. I recommend stopping by if you're craving fresh juice though for sure!

Stopped here in the midst of a road trip for a good smoothie bowl and Tippi Teas did not disappoint even slightly. Service was nice and easy, restroom was very clean, the vibes are immaculate and the food is pretty good definitely recommend for anyone in El paso

Although this place wasn't exactly my cup of tea, I can appreciate it for what it is! Very cute shop and they are taking good Covid precautions. Tons of unique teas and you can create pretty much any blend you want! I got a peppermint matcha green tea sweetened with agave, and quickly realized that my tastes have not matured past the sugary Starbucks drinks I am used to. Any true tea aficionado is going to love this place! As for me? I'm hoping to develop my tastes to this point with time!

Matcha Latte: FROM THE EARTH TO YOUR STOMACH
    Vic F.

LOST AND FOUND IN THE MYSTIC WILDERNESS OF EL PASO You are now leaving El Paso and entering an enchanted world of wilderness and greenery. One might even say that you are entering the intersection between San Francisco, Portland, and Austin, where the land speaks the law: keep it weird. Upon entering Tippi Tea, you sense the spirit of the Earth represented in their various teas, unique vegan lattes, and even rolled ice cream. The menu is as diverse as the species of this Earth and the atmosphere enshrouds you in a mystic zen. Who would have known that all the green in this city with a small town feel would lie here. Now, lets talk about Tippi Tea. The DRINKS: Vegan drinks with a large variety of Earth conscious choices Matcha Latte: FROM THE EARTH TO YOUR STOMACH Very rarely do we harvest greens from the Earth and end up with sipping something green in a glass cup in a café. The Matcha Latte is on full display as a pine-green concoction like a wheatgrass shot, but with a lighter green foam layered on top. Overall, it is very light in flavor, similar to strong green tea with milk. The soy milk added a creaminess without the scent of dairy, but left the latte thin and needing a source of sweetness (-1 star). The Matcha held a fresh and strong Earthiness, which was accented by a slight bitterness like a cup of coffee. If you enjoy Matcha, this is definitely the drink for you. The VERDICT: A LITTLE BIT OF SAN FRANCISCO, PORTLAND, and AUSTIN in EL PASO. Sometimes you need to get away from the mojave shades of brown and sepia of El Paso and be reminded of the vibrant greenery of this Earth. Tippi Tea brings you into a mystic café with a library of teas and tables adorned with crystals. The Matcha Latte provides robust Earthiness with light foam on the top. With slight bitter tones, this is a drink that can appeal to Matcha connoisseurs as well as millennial hobbyists. However, if you are looking to fulfill a sweet tooth, this might not be your cup of tea. Regardless, there is something relieving about finding a natural sanctuary that appeals to the vegan lifestyle and natural living in El Paso. Best believe I will be back for another round.

I saw this place on Yelp and thought it looked like a cool place to grab something to drink. We drove over from the hotel. I missed Tippi Teas and drove right past it. We came back around and found it. Just look for a huge Carribean Blue Gate and you will find this place. Before you enter, there is a bench outside and next to it is a mailbox with books. The sign said, "Take a book, leave a book". Nice idea. We were travelling, so we didn't have a book to leave, so we didn't take a book. I really thought that the decor was interesting. Very eclectic & cozy! They have lots of loose leaf teas in clear glass jars that you can view. There are a few rooms to sit in and enjoy yourself. My daughter ordered Matcha Latte (hot), and she really didn't like it. She added honey to sweeten it, but it was still not something she liked. She said it tasted muddy. The lady at the counter said they get their Matcha straight from Japan. I ordered the Pecan Party, a smoothie. Lots of great ingredients, but it wasn't something I'd order again, either. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't what I thought it was going to be. There are items for sale here besides drinks. You can buy teapots, tea cups, mugs, & candles. Not sure what else since we didn't stay too long. I think I would order a hot tea if I were ever in this area and looking for a drink. I really think that might be their specialty.

Tippi Teas makes me feel classic. I love that feeling. It's a comfortable enough spot that casually lounging on their worn couch while reading a novel and sipping a warm tea is never out of the question. Doniphan isn't the most beautiful street in EP, but there's this one wonderful hidden spot on Doniphan that's filled with antique stores, craft stores, the Magic Bistro (which truly is a magic bistro) and that's exactly where you'll find Tippis. If you haven't been to this area yet, I implore you to spend a weekend here eating, sipping and shopping. I finally had to make a real pit stop at Tippis. I'd been once before and just quickly perused the offerings because I was being rushed by a friend. This time around I decided to pack up my laptop and just enjoy Tippis. There were two young ladies with big smiles working when I went in and a couple of fellow Millennials sharing ideas about something or other. My kind of people. It all felt very welcoming. I'd been hearing all this buzz about Matcha and how people are going crazy for it because it's super cheap (at a certain unnamed establishment) and has a ridiculous amount of health benefits so when I saw they offered about three different Matcha tea smoothies, I figured "Why not?" I had no idea what Matcha really was, what it tasted like, or if I'd even like it, but in the hands of tea spirit guide like TT, I felt safe in my leap of faith. I quickly ordered an Orange Tea Matcha Smoothie on said whim. I don't want to get too much into Matcha more than I already have because it isn't like Tippi Teas grows the stuff themselves, but it has a flavor. I can't exactly put it into words other than to say it tastes subtly green. I really enjoyed this "smoothie". It's a tea smoothie so it was more a tea with additions than what one might think as a typical smoothie, but it made sense for the flavors. Orange without being super acidity, a little mellowed out really. I think someone who has a huge aversion to orange juice would even enjoy this drink. I ended up spending a couple of hours in this little room they have towards the back using their wi-fi (yes, they have free wi-fi). I chose a little wooden table that was next to a couple good sized rock formations that were beautiful, but way more than I could afford for a rock centerpiece. Very comfortable area. And I adore how bright and inviting the area is. I love the bar seating that faces out to the windows. I also decided to grab a blueberry bread. Pretty scrumptious. Sweet and a good amount of blueberries riddled throughout. This added to the "classic feeling"... eating a breakfast pastry with my tea. Great place to meet up with friends, take a moment for yourself, or get some work done. Wonderful variety of teas available. Quiet spot. And they're right next to shopping and eating.

Absolutely loved this place! Got the hot Day Dreamer Tea and it was delicious. Exactly what I wanted and mellowed me out. So many teas and the girls there had great customer service. Also there is so much color and art to this place. It's very Zen!

This is a cute, little place with a chill and mellow vibe. It's a good place to go and relax or read a book, study. It was my first time coming so I didn't know what to order. The girl working there was very nice and knowledgeable about the products. They didn't have peach iced tea so I went with a mango iced tea. I also ordered a slice of chocolate chip cake. Both were delicious! The cake tasted fresh and moist. Tippi Teas offers vegan options like muffins and ice cream. Prices are pretty reasonable. I paid $6 and change for both. I would like to try their vegan rolled ice cream soon. They have other locations around town but this is the first and only one I've been to. I'll be returning sometime soon when time permits. It's definitely Yelp approved and recommended. There is something for everyone here.

Pomegranate Green tea and black Hipton tea were both delightful and refreshing. Trendsetting and hipster this little place awesome for a chat! Why go to Starbucks have your meetings here. Vegan muffins to pair with teas. Next time I am gonna try their matcha ice cream. They have a cold stone type thing where they can do mix-ins If you go before 5:00 there is a little plazita to walk around that has a lot of little antique shops

Love coming here. It's so chill. I really enjoyed the coconut chai. Hubby had the ginger genius smoothie and that was good too but too grass tasting for him.

There was plenty of options on the menu to choose from but I went with the fresh brew Jasmine green tea with the tapioca pearls. The barista was so sweet and kind allowing me to taste test the sweetness level with the tea! They were very helpful and quick too when it came to the final order. The atmosphere itself was fine. It seemed clean and there was a lot of seating areas for people. Nice patio too. The drink itself turned out to be ok. The tapioca was actually not bad but I think it was just too plain. There wasn't enough brown sugar syrup on them so it tasted slightly plasticy... the tea itself wasn't bad but it could have been maybe instead of 50% sweetened we could do 75%. See what happens then.. I don't know if I like this spot. It was very pricey for average tea so I'm going to have to think on it. This would be my go to place if I lived in the area. It's spacious enough to bring friends and family to hang out as well! 22 Oz Ca Phe Bac Xiu With Mini Pearls: This was really good. It's a lighter version of Vietnamese coffee so less strong in terms of coffee and sweetness from the condensed milk. It went really well with the mini pearls which is rarely offered at boba shops these days. I only took 2 sips so the caffeine doesn't mess up my sleep. 22 Oz Taro Coconut Smoothie With Taro Pudding: This was a really great combination. I didn't really taste how sweet it was until a few sips in so you have to constantly stir the drink as the ice melts so the sweetness doesn't concentrate at the bottom. The coconut flavor does stand out a bit more than the taro but you can still taste it. The taro pudding was soft and complimented the drink since it didn't give an overpowering taro taste.
