Love this place. So many positives to write about. They're allergy friendly, teas are always great, Oolongs are my favorite to buy and take home, smoothies, breads, are a hit every time and I adore their ice cream. I've dropped so much money here over the years and always come on my birthday. It's honestly my favorite place I've ever been to. The only place that doesn't hurt my stomach. Been coming to tippi teas for 13 years and this specific location for 12 years now. They never disappoint. Now I have moved and still order from far far away. What they could improve on: -Staff hasn't been as personable as the years have gone by but regardless the staff is still wonderful. -The outside seating could definitely improve with how long they've had what's out there. -Switching out the Sage and etc with stuff (pottery, art, prints) from local artists would be much much cooler as well. read more

Nut allergy warning: The gelato is made with almonds, and many of the smoothies also use almond milk. It's vegan gelato though, which is very cool. A cozy shop that sells all kinds of teas, smoothies, and gelato. Two of my friends praised the gelato and got some to go. My friend brought me here today and I am ashamed to say that I have lived 1 miles from this place for a year and have never been. It has officially won my heart as THE place to go study/work. It's a small, quaint tea shop with immaculate vibes. The tea is a little pricey but nothing outrageous in my opinion. I tried the Golden Monkey tea in a latte and was very satisfied. The boldness of the tea worked so well with the milk and agave to make it a very relaxing yet exciting tea experience. I highly recommend if you want to have a long chat with someone or just want to grind out your studying/work. My only qualm would be that the booths are not very ergonomically friendly so I had to adjust how I was sitting often. Give it a try! read more

I wanted a fresh pressed green juice and after a quick yelp search, found this spot. They have a pretty extensive menu and I really enjoyed how flexible they were with their menu. If you have some time take a look at the items they sell including the sage sticks. They had some that had words of affirmation and different intentions behind the sage bundles which I really liked. This is a tea coffee/shop where they also serve rolled ice cream and smoothies which all seem healthy and vegan. We tried their mango ice cream that came with dates syrup, coconut flakes and almond chips - it was very refreshing and charging but not too sweet. Super knowledgeable staff. They keep the some herbs hidden so if you don't see what you are looking for, you will have to ask. The teas are sold per 50 gram bags. Not all mixtures contain the Camellia Sinensis (the actual tea leaves) with Caffeine so make sure to ask! Prices can be expensive but the Early Gray is of good quality! Try the Guayusa it's like Matcha but better! There are great quality candles, sweet grass, and large crystals. Sage galore! Great atmosphere to chill. Beautiful ceilings that are painted like clouds. The food here is usually good however the wait makes it not worth it. I have never been here where I don't have a hassle in ordering and then a 30-45 min wait for a smoothie! If my grandson didn't have special dietary needs I would never come here. It is not worth the wait in my estimation. Actually, I'm still waiting, and people that got here 15 min ago already have their smoothies and food. The snippy attitude and response of the staff is incredible. I love Tippi Tea! I went there just the other day with my husband and mother in law and we absolutely love the atmosphere and aesthetic of the overall cafe. I got the açaí bowl and I love it! They are also a vegan cafe which I'm pretty sure a lot of people appreciate. This place is cozy, cute and makes for good pictures. No smoothie is watered down (unlike other chains here). there are a bunch of antioxidants packed in each smoothie, which is a super plus. A few local tea shops have popped up here this year and I have checked them out - Tippi's is in a great neighborhood, walkable from my usual hotel and all of the family members' homes. Last time i had the walnut joy green iced tea (sooo yummy and nutty) and had that in mind today as I walked in post-hair cut. So many things on the menu looked good to me, including smoothies, juice blends and teas. However, I opted for a matcha smoothie which had almond milk and a little agave. It was not sweet at all which is a good thing. I really enjoyed this. I would definitely come back to try more juice blends, teas, smoothies, and matcha concoctions. I am giving this place a 1 star because even though they serve up good smoothies and muffins, I am tired that the owner refuses to make his staff wear gloves and cover their hair with a net or cap. These girls are constantly playing with their hair and flipping it around while preparing your order. They will handle your cash or card and go right to making your order without washing their hands. This is all downright disgusting and unsanitary! I'll be calling the health department to get the owner to get his act together at both his locations! The girls should have their hair tied up, braided or in a bun!!!! read more
