This is regarding the horrible way you treat your employees. Yesterday was my 2nd time going to the store in a matter of weeks and the a/c wasn't working. Do not know if they never bothered to fix it or it continually breaks down. It is insanely hot inside, the young lady working in the front looked like she was dying. Or at the least severely dehydrated. It is beyond disgusting and disturbing; you should be ashamed of yourselves for having this poor girl working in those conditions. Where do I even start the drive was worth it if you ask me . I was visiting my sister in Texas and I had to stop by after seeing it all over TikTok. The line was crazy and they were so busy for being a late cravings. The cashier was very nice and friendly. I was kind of sad that they didn't have most of the stuff that I wanted to try . But the other cookies I bought wasn't that bad either . It was hot and delicious I love the selections that they had . The place was a vibe for college students that need a sugar fix for some cookies. He mumbled curses under his breath after he didn't hear what me and my girl ordered which was only 4 items. Delicious cookies! We stopped by for dessert last night, and I was not disappointed. I ordered a double chocolate chunk cookie and loved it. It was served warm & fresh. The outside was perfectly crispy, the inside was soft, and there were a good amount of chocolate chunks. My boyfriend ordered the same thing and enjoyed it as well. Compared to cookies at Tiff's Treats, I would say these are thinner with a bit more crispiness. If I had to choose I'd say that I still prefer Tiff's Treats, but this place comes pretty close. I should probably try some of their other items before making a final decision. Each cookie was $1.75, and 6 cookies were $10. This place definitely isn't cheap, especially compared to buying cookies at the grocery store or somewhere like that. So if you know me, you know my two favorite foods are pizza and all things chocolate. I have a major sweet tooth that will probably come back to haunt me when I'm a bit older, but for now I love to indulge, and boy are these cookies an indulgence. The peanut butter cup deluxe, triple chocolate chunk, s'mores, and oatmeal chocolate chip walnut cookies are are soooo decadent. If you want an instant brain orgasm, then I highly recommend these cookies. This place is open late so it's a nice way to end the night and hate yourself in the morning. The only reason why it loses a star is because every time I visit, I'm always having to wait 15 minutes for cookies to come out of the oven. And when they do, you have to let them cool off substantially or else you're left with a pile of warm sweet mush if you try to eat them. So what should have been instant gratification turns into a 20-30 minute wait when you add it all up. Still though, these are probably the best cookies in town. Go ahead, change my mind. read more

Maybe it was an off day? It seemed packed with workers yet unlike Baked Bear I didnt really feel welcomed. We spent a bit looking at the menu amd didnt get asked if it was our first time or if we had questions. We were looking for a dessert after dinner for the kids and found this spot. So much was closed at night in DT El Paso so we had these delivered. Great variety of options and cookies showed up fresh and warm. We had the confetti, snickerdoodle, chocolate chip, s'more and peanut butter chip. This ended up better than just a place that was open when we needed it. This could take down crumble with their more balanced flavors and getting the cookies out warm. I feel like this is a stoner's dream. Getting cookies late at night? I liked them, but my husband and his sister LOOOOOOOVED these things. They got them there to eat and then ordered a half dozen to go. They were pretty good. We tried several different kinds, including snickerdoodle and a mint chocolate cookie. We each (4 of us) got an ice cream sandwich cookie that you could choose the size of - I opted for the smaller, but the hubs got the "deluxe" or whatever. Both were good. Welp, I'd love to say anything about the cookies but unfortunately I can't. We are visiting from Alamogordo, New Mexico and after eating some ramen across the street (which didn't require masks like the rest of the country), we were in the mood for a tasty treat and my two kids were just as excited as us. We opened the door and a woman at the front desk very rudely told us we were not allowed in without masks on. We don't carry masks because literally NO ONE requires them anymore. Everyone walks around, goes shopping, and has communication/contact with multiple people throughout the day so I don't know how requiring a mask in a little cookie store would make ANY bit of difference. If you guys are THAT afraid of a virus, I would suggest closing. I can't imagine the amount of business you've lost, including mine. I will not be back. I visited this place a few months ago and it was ok for what its worth. After coming here again recently, i decided I wouldn't come back. After surgery i told my friend i wanted ice cream, and they pulled into the parking lot with insomnia cookies to treat me, but I couldn't do it. The cookies are warmed before turning them into cookiewiches, but its far too rich for me. I can only handle a few bites before I'm maxed out on the sweet factor of it. They're very expensive too, just not worth the $6-9 per cookiewich. Same with the calories. Cool concept and i was very excited to try it out, but after two times, the novelty factor has worn off. I've been waiting for Insomnia Cookies to open up in El Paso... one week to be exact. They came into this market pretty quiet. The only reason I knew they were opening up was because I saw the sign last week and made my husband turn the car around so I could investigate further. I do think that's where they're going wrong since they just opened and it's finals week (meaning UTEP won't be so full in a few days), but on the upside they are in a really good location and once the dorms fill back up it'll be packed at all hours I'm sure. There were two people behind the counter that seemed like they were co-training each other. They were nice though and sometimes the two became three, but it never became one. They offered to answer any questions we had, but we had none. I'd been talking about IC since I saw the sign (literally and figuratively) so I knew what I was coming in for... a cookiewhich. My hubby wasn't as prepared. Up until this point I hadn't really looked around, but I was already fully aware that it was a pretty small space. A quick couple of looks and I was left with the thought that although they'd only been opened for two days, I don't think they were ready. Behind us there were these wooden boxes just hanging out... not for the purposes of a decoration or a table or a chair, just wooden boxes. To our left (near the door) was a high-top wooden bar that I liked, but arguably the most important element was missing... chairs. So back to my husband and the cookies. The cookie flavors are pretty standard so it's great for those days when you don't feel like slaving away in the kitchen to make a batch of cookies that will be devoured in minutes. He ended up ordering a chocolate chunk cookie and whole milk. I ordered my cookiewhich with M&M cookies and settled on vanilla because I decided cookie dough ice cream was overdoing it. My husband ate his cookies and said something along the lines of "They're just cookies." A couple of things before I cut this one off... - My cousin saw my check-in and told me next time I need to get the lemon cookiewhich with pecan praline ice cream. Didn't see a lemon cookie option, but I don't care, I'm asking for it next time. - I think chairs will appear by the next time I partake in IC. - The flavor of the ice cream was good an this might be a strange request, but if I ever do this exact order again, I'm going to ask them to roll it in sprinkles or Reese's Pieces. So if you're asking yourself if you should partake in IC's cookies, the answer is 'yes'. They're in their opening week so of course there's room for improvement, but I think they'll be here for the long haul and wouldn't be surprised to see another location pop up somewhere else in El Paso. read more

Last night was my first time trying Insomnia Cookie. I was referred here by friends of mine since this is a local favorite. The food was delicious but the cashier working at midnight had terrible hospitality. It's the only reason this review is not a five. When the cashier heard I was ordering a cookie sandwich he heaved a sigh (since this item was so inconvenient for him to make). When I looked confused when hurriedly asked what my third cookie flavor will be, he condescendingly explained that there was another cookie that gets crushed up to make the stuffing. Every bit of his body language through my order made it clear that there were plenty of insults he'd like to say to me for my ignorance, but that he was contractually obligated not to. You might think I'm exaggerating, but as I was leaving with my order he addressed a group of three people next in line who hadn't made up their mind and stated: "We're all adults here, you should all know what you want." The cookies are pricey, they've always costed more, but they give you the cookies when they're still hot! The cookies are moist and crunchy around the edges.
