I've dropped so much money here over the years and always come on my birthday. It's honestly my favorite place I've ever been to. The only place that doesn't hurt my stomach. Been coming to tippi teas for 13 years and this specific location for 12 years now. They never disappoint. Now I have moved and still order from far far away. What they could improve on: -Staff hasn't been as personable as the years have gone by but regardless the staff is still wonderful. -The outside seating could definitely improve with how long they've had what's out there. -Switching out the Sage and etc with stuff (pottery, art, prints) from local artists would be much much cooler as well.

Update: I had to come back and update my review because several people told me to try the French…read moretoast... and they were absolutely right. I came back yesterday to try it, then came back again today because I couldn't stop thinking about it. This is hands down the best French toast I've ever had. It's listed under the dessert menu, but I honestly think it belongs on the breakfast menu. I expected it to be overly sweet, but it wasn't at all. The homemade berry jam is light and delicate, the fresh berries add little bursts of flavor, and the creamy yogurt topping gives it the perfect amount of tang. Everything is balanced beautifully. The brioche is thick, soft, and soaked all the way through without being soggy. Every bite had a different texture, and I actually found myself slowing down because I didn't want it to end. I also tried one of their coffee drinks. It was good, but I'd still come back just for the French toast. One thing worth mentioning: I didn't realize you have to leave your tip when you place your order because there's no option to add one afterward. Once I figured that out, I made sure to tip them well on my return visits because they absolutely deserved it. The service has been consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The staff even recognized me after seeing me all week while my kids were at the clay camp next door and gave me a small discount today. It was such a thoughtful gesture. Bravo Coffee House has definitely earned a repeat customer. I'll be back long after clay camp is over. Previous: I discovered Bravo Coffee House because my kids have been attending the clay camp next door all week. Since camp is two hours long, it didn't make sense to drive home, so I decided to check it out. I had no idea it was here, and I was surprised to learn they've only been open about 10 months. The shop is simple, clean, and very welcoming. Everyone on the staff was friendly, and the owner even came by to ask how everything was. I wasn't in the mood for coffee, so they recommended their freshly made watermelon agua fresca. It was refreshing and delicious. I also tried the mushroom pozole, which had a light, flavorful broth and several different kinds of mushrooms. You can tell they care about quality. The homemade tortilla chips weren't really my favorite, but I appreciated the owner explaining that they're made fresh from tortillas in-house. I always appreciate businesses that genuinely want feedback. The atmosphere is great if you're looking for a quiet place to relax or get some work done. It's nice to see a local business like this helping bring more life to the Alameda area. I'll definitely be back to try the coffee next time.

Small unassuming diner outside the downtown noise…read more Liz and I stopped to try out this joint while returning home from dropping the car off. As we pulled up, the block around the diner was surrounded by cars parked along the street. We ended up parking a block away by some abandoned buildings. When we got in, there were a few people in line waiting to order. There was still plenty of seating, tables, and high chair seating along the front windows. We ordered some coffee, a cheesecake, and breakfast. I ordered an Americano, Liz ordered something with oat milk, and a cheesecake, which I thought was a bit early...but hey, to each their own (I would retract the statement later). It took a minute to get the drinks, but water was available while we waited. The cheesecake was simple, but very good...I recommend this with your hot drinks. They brought the rest of our order a little bit afterwards. I enjoyed my huevos divorciados. I thought the russet potatoes were pretty good, they were cooked and salted so that it was a bonus to the plate. I also noted that the smokey red salsa was very well flavored. The plate comes with three eggs, the potatoes, beans sprinkled with cotija cheese, and two corn tortillas. Liz ordered chicken enchiladas. That came with two eggs, and the same beans. The staff was friendly and made sure that all was in order and kept the crowd moving through steadily. Bravo, Bravo.

They had a bunch of table games to keep you entertained in case you wanted to hang out I would like to try their guava and other pastries, their Caribbean sandwiches (tripleta, and bistec). I saw an Instagram story on it and thought, I need to shift my focus on how I tackle eating healthy so I came in for breakfast. Juicery has plenty of breakfast options, but I am not quite ready to go full vegan so I was happy to see there were some carnivore options. I got the cage free eggs & side. I made some slight adjustments cause I wanted a slightly heartier meal; and the staff worked with me on those slight adjustments. I ordered an extra egg (3 total), with the Mexican Potatoes which were very tasty, and added a side of fruit. The fruit bowl has apples, pineapple, blueberries, and strawberries. I was then happy to see they had espresso available, so I ordered a triple shot of espresso with a little heavy cream on top. Unfortunately, they did not have basic heavy cream, but they did have a vanilla cream option, which was a reasonable substitute. The staff was helpful, and never batted an eye over my complex ordering style and that is something I appreciated. Give them a shot, whether espresso or juice!

As a vegan and someone who loves fresh ingredients along with supporting local business I wanted to see what they offered since I come to the plaza regularly for my chiropractor visits. Very vegan/vegetarian friendly! Everything is marked for dietary friendliness. Upon entering the vibrant decor and color scheme is inviting. The 90's classic jams playing sets the tone with the atmosphere of being an upbeat refreshing atmosphere. We were immediately welcomed and told about their Friday special of their juice case. Buy 6 items for $35 which included the salads, wraps, fresh juices, pudding, and shots being 2 counted as one item!! That is a steal deal! Especially considering the prep meal options and juices!! You can easily use for a meal prep or week cleanse with this special! The variety is great to change up with flavors to enjoy healthy eats and drinks for your daily intake of fresh goodness! We wanted to get a variety with the deal so we got two salads, two shots, a juice, and a pudding. Here is our review for each item: Kale YAS shot: highly recommend! This vibrant purple shot is made of ginger, apple, kale, lemon, beet and jalapeño. I love beet juice and kale, ginger and lemon are regular shots I enjoy. What intrigued me to try was the jalapeño addition. I love ginger and knew that would be a nice kick but was interested in the combination of the jalapeño addition. It did not disappoint! The two actually compliment each other bringing a more balanced refreshing kick to where neither was overwhelming. The Roots Shot: Your classic immunity boost of ginger, turmeric, lemon, and ginger! This is a great shot for daily intake to build your daily intake with so many benefits of anti inflammatory and antioxidants properties. Asian Munchies: Highly Recommend! I love Asian salads! This Asian salad is mixed with brown rice and quinoa, a slaw salad with cabbage, carrot, broccoli, jicama, onions, almonds, and black sesame seeds. It comes with a house made Asian sesame seed dressing made of coconut aminos, coconut milk, almond butter, sriracha, ginger, sesame oil, garlic, and lime. The kick in the dressing ties all the fresh veggies and grain together nicely! The different textures of the salad makes it refreshing with the crunchiness and flavors. Definitely will be back to try more and support! Go support locals invested in health!

And this aspirin, cough drop, Theraflu regimen wasn't cutting it so as soon as my boyfriend got home, I coaxed him into driving me to Mom's Fresh Juice Co. Luckily for him, they just opened this new location and it happens to be super close to our house so it not only saved us some gas, but also potentially saved us some dough since we didn't have to find parking in the Downtown area. This new location is much smaller. Like 150 square feet, small. It's not a kitchen like the other location, but it's just as fantastic. The thing I like the most about this location is you're able to peruse the fridge yourself and decide on a flavor. I didn't see a menu that describes each drink available, but there may be some literature on all that on the counter that I missed. But if you're really not familiar with their different flavors you can always consult with the person working and they'll make a recommendation based on what you say you like. If they don't have a pamphlet available, I really hope they add that because a lot of their juices have added benefits that may be of interest to customers (like the Charcoal Lemon helps remove toxins and the Gold Milk is great for reducing inflammation and fighting cold/flu symptoms). The real reason why I wanted to go to Mom's is because I know how I feel after I drink anything from Mom's... I just needed some of that light at the end of the tunnel during this horrible sickness. And my body craves a lot of more natural ingredients when I'm not feeling so hot. I went in with a mission... I came for the Gold Milk and the TLC. At the other location, in my experience, they tend to run out of the Gold Milk before the end of the day, but since this is a newer location and they have a pretty good stock, I was happy to see that they had about three Gold Milk's left. My boyfriend gave me a sideways look of bewilderment when he heard the total. Mom's Fresh Juice is like $8.50 a bottle. But it's cold pressed and it's a specialty item so to me that's a reasonable price. The Gold Milk was perfect for what I needed at the moment and I devoured it within minutes. It's just very smooth with a touch of sweet, almond taste. And it's a thinner milk which makes it easier to swallow when your throat is sore. The TLC I saved for later, but after drinking the Gold Milk I did start feeling a little better and I think that was exactly what my body needed to get a little boost. The TLC is spicy and sweet and I will only ever drink this when I'm sick or to cook with. Strangely enough the heat really did help with symptoms so I sipped on that one for quite a while. Mom's Fresh Juice isn't just for when your sick. It could definitely be an every day kind of thing, they have juice cleanses, and each juice has it's own unique health benefits. If you're not sure where to start when it comes to juicing, consult with the experts at Mom's.
