When I got to the counter and had my total I was shocked it was $14 for four pieces, that's when the attendant told me the prices for all items (instead of having them on the trays) I mentioned I didn't want the pan de muerto after all since it was almost half of the total $6 but they said once it leave the display tray you have to buy it. I must say I was very much disappointed with the quality as well, the pan de muerto was a bit too dry. Do look at other close by bakeries which have a competitive price on the pan de muerto some barely the $3.

Arirang is one of the best places in El Paso for authentic Korean and Japanese groceries and…read moreprepared foods. Having just returned from Japan, walking through the store brought back a lot of great memories. It has that familiar atmosphere, with a wonderful selection of imported products that can be difficult to find elsewhere in the area. The store carries an impressive variety of Korean and Japanese ingredients, snacks, frozen foods, beverages, and fresh produce. Their prepared food section is also worth a visit. The Korean dumplings are outstanding, especially the glass noodle dumplings, which are among my favorites. They also offer delicious japchae, kimchi jjigae, and many other ready-to-enjoy Korean specialties. The store recently came under new management, so unfortunately the 10% military discount is no longer available. Some imported items are definitely on the expensive side, but that is to be expected with specialty products shipped from overseas. Overall, I still find the pricing to be fair, particularly considering the quality, authenticity, and selection. What truly keeps me coming back is the customer service. Marianna and Beth are always welcoming, friendly, and incredibly helpful. They take the time to answer questions, recommend products, and make every visit enjoyable. So, If you're looking for authentic Korean or Japanese ingredients, prepared meals, or simply want to experience a taste of East Asia, Arirang is absolutely worth a visit!!!

Heavy on Korean options, but they also have some Japanese, Indonesian and other offerings. There are tea and snack sections too. And a good rice selection - multiple varieties of Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Thai and more. Service is always quick and efficient. The store is very clean and I feel confident and safe buying my food there.

But depending on where you're from in Mexico, and even the US, your pallet may be different. So, finding a good place can be challenging especially if you're visiting. But, El Prado Bakery takes the cake (pun intended) on some of the best Mexican food in this town. From their pastries to their burritos you'll find great food here. First, they have an abundance of pastries to choose from. You can spend some time just trying to pick the right one. And they are tasty! Their burritos are absolutely delicious! I had the breakfast sausage and egg and it was great! My only issue was it was rolled up the way I am not used to for a burrito. It was more like a giant taco with the edges tucked in. That aside, it was still delicious and the salsa was good too! Eggs were cooked nicely, as well as the sausage. Potatoes were soft and with the beans added, it made for a great burrito! The staff were super friendly! Always welcoming when you walked in. And yes, we went there more than once! Always had a smile and waiting to take your order. Once the food was ordered it came fairly quickly too! Place was clean all around which was nice as well. All in all, this was a great place. Definitely stop by and try this place!
