We visited for breakfast while in El Paso. Party of two on a Saturday morning. Arrived around…read more9:30am & were seated immediately. Initially we sat inside but decided to sit outside since the weather was so nice. It was kind of dark & tight inside. The place is small. Outside seats around 20 people. The 2 of us sat at a table for 4. We choose our own table. We ordered the chorizo burrito with a side of fruit, churro waffle, strawberry lemonade, hash stack scramble with a side of bacon. The churro waffle was EVERYTHING!!! DELICIOUS. A definite must have for breakfast or dessert. It was a cinnamon & sugar topped crunchy on the outside smooth and soft on the inside. The best part of the meal. Burrito is served with a red salsa & a side. It was filled with chunks of potatoes & eggs. I didn't taste much chorizo in the burrito. I felt like the green Tabasco sauce would have been good with it to season it some. My fruit was fresh. The egg scrambled came with Shredded potatoes mixed in the egg @ spinach, mushrooms & onions under the egg & potato omelette. It was good. We got a side of bacon which was also good. Coffee & strawberry lemonade to drink. The service was quick and the food came hot & quick. We walked but there was some parking out front.

Disappointing meal. Got chicken lettuce wraps and sent back…read morethe lettuce as it was brown and didn't look washed. Cilantro brown too. What I got back was also brown and unwashed. Agua Fresca is just 2 cucumber slices and a sprig of mint. Not worth 3.5. The spicy chicken was well done and flavorful but the rest totally underwhelming. Kitchen needs some education. Staff pointed to wrong WiFi network at first as well.

This was our first visit. The food was delicious. My husband and I combined had the French toast,…read morea breakfast sandwich, side of elote, and the roasted maple brussel sprouts. They were all very good. All the passing plates by us looked pretty good as well. Service was excellent. All the staff was great, the hostesses, especially Yvette, and of course our server Naomi. The ambience was fun, families, couples, friends, all together under one welcoming spot. We will definitely go back and try some of their other creations. This local establishment is worth it for sure.

I arrived just after 8:30 am, but there was plenty of room. I got seated at the bar, and got to see everything. I asked for coffee, and it came quick and hot. Then i took a look at the menu, but the nice thing about the bar is that you can see everything that was ordered get prepped. I ordered a pozole rojo. It was a good choice, according to me... it was a lot of food. It came with a slice of toasted and buttered bolillo bread. It was loaded with more pork, than hominy - a lot. The server came by to ask if I needed a box. The Junction is a diner, with a railroad ambiance. Plenty of train station themes, I think there were a lot of clocks on the wall - but I don't think that they were working... or that they were on time. I noticed a couple of plates that I would want to try... the chicken fried steak, the biscuits and gravy with fried eggs on top, peach cobber side, the fresh biscuit with chipotle butter. It all looked good. The breakfast tacos seemed basic, but a lot of folks ordered them - they must know. There is seating inside, table and bar, and outside under the shade. I saw enough that I would return with Liz (...and the kids). I recommend, but I do recommend getting there early. It's a popular locale.

Fantastic Food and Exceptional Service!…read more Another Broken Egg Cafe continues to impress with its delicious food, welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding hospitality. It's a fantastic place to enjoy breakfast or brunch! What truly made our visit special was our server, Brittany. She was absolutely exceptional! Friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely personable, Brittany provided the kind of service that makes a dining experience memorable. Her positive attitude, attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm for her work really stood out. Great food brings customers through the door, but exceptional people like Brittany keep them coming back. She's a tremendous asset to Another Broken Egg Cafe and deserves recognition for her outstanding service. Highly recommend, and if Brittany is your server, you're in excellent hands!

Extremely Disappointing Experience…read more My experience at Another Broken Egg Cafe in El Paso today was absolutely insulting. What started as a frustrating wait turned into an even more disappointing experience because of how the situation was handled by both the host staff and management. When I arrived, I checked in and added my party to the waitlist. We were quoted a wait time of 20-25 minutes. I was patient and even set a timer so I would know when our estimated wait was almost over. With approximately five minutes remaining, I moved closer to the entrance so that when our name was called, the staff would not have to wait for me to walk back up. While waiting, my party and I started noticing that the people around us had changed from the original group of people who had been waiting. We continued waiting, assuming the process was being handled appropriately. However, when I checked my timer again, we had been waiting approximately 55 minutes without receiving a text notification or any update about our table. At that point, I went inside to let the host know that she could remove us from the waitlist. I did this as a courtesy because I thought it was the right thing to do rather than simply leaving without notifying anyone. To my surprise, the same host told me she could seat my party right then. After nearly an hour of waiting without an update, suddenly we could be seated when I came inside to cancel? The timing was incredibly frustrating. I was already concerned when our initial reservation information was written on a Post-it note. When I returned inside, the host used an iPad to pull up my information, and the phone number displayed had a completely different area code from mine. This raised serious concerns about whether our information had been entered correctly and whether the waitlist was being managed properly. I cannot say whether this was incompetence, a system error, or something more concerning. However, the combination of the excessive wait, lack of communication, and incorrect contact information left me questioning how my party was being treated and whether all guests were receiving the same consideration. I decided to give the restaurant an opportunity to address the situation directly, so I called back approximately five minutes after leaving and spoke with a manager. That conversation only made matters worse. The manager told me that he does not hire incompetent people, but that he needed to check and make sure things were being organized properly at the host stand. He also stated that the maximum wait time that day was 30-35 minutes. That made the situation even more upsetting. We had been quoted 20-25 minutes, waited approximately 55 minutes, and received no notification. Even according to the manager's own statement, our wait exceeded the maximum time he said guests should expect. Rather than reassuring me that he would investigate what happened, his response came across as defensive and dismissive, as though he had already decided an employee was simply entering information incorrectly. I did not call to attack his employees or question his hiring practices. I called to explain what happened and give management an opportunity to take my concerns seriously. I expected acknowledgment, accountability, and a genuine effort to understand how this happened. Instead, I felt as though I had to defend the legitimacy of my own experience. I also want to be clear that I am concerned about the possibility of unequal treatment. I cannot establish anyone's motive from this experience alone, but the circumstances, including the incorrect area code and the way the waitlist was handled, left me with questions that I believe management should take seriously rather than dismiss. What makes this especially disappointing is that I genuinely enjoy the food at Another Broken Egg Cafe. I should not have to accept poor communication, disorganized service, and a dismissive response from management just to enjoy a meal at a restaurant I like. I was patient. I monitored my own wait time. I moved closer to the entrance to make the staff's job easier. I even notified the host when I decided to leave instead of simply walking away. I made a reasonable effort to be considerate of the restaurant, and I expected the same basic consideration in return. Management needs to review how the waitlist is being managed, how customer contact information is entered, why guests are waiting significantly longer than the quoted times without updates, and how complaints are handled. A manager should be willing to investigate a customer's concern before becoming defensive. This experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and deeply disappointing. The food may be good, but good food does not excuse poor service or a lack of accountability. Based on this visit and my subsequent conversation with management, I left with a much worse impression of this location than I had when I arrive.

I also loved the vibes and the decor. My only complaint is that it was pretty crowded inside, which made it a little difficult to bring my baby in his infant car seat. Absolutely loved the bar and hanging pots everywhere. Such a clean restaurant and cute vibe. Our waitress was very nice and friendly to us. So no issues there! For drinks I got their berry lemonade which tasted just like lemon juice. I had to request for sugar to be added since it was so sour so beware. My food had came out and to be honest I'm just a little bit disappointed. The rigatoni was cooked but the sauce for it was really not tasty? Like there was almost not a flavor I can taste. Of course there was something but it was very plain and barely even there. It also was not spicy whatsoever. I added grilled chicken too and oh boy was that dry dry DRY. The burrata personally I'm not a fan in general so of course I wouldn't be a fan this time either but they gave a nice little plate full of it. They added some oiled toasted bread and it was way too crispy in my opinion. My partner got the chicken Parmesan and his dish tasted great! Very juicy chicken and cooked all the way. The sauce was perfect too nice and flavorful and great pairing with the chicken. His butter noodles were just like regular butter noodles so not bad. Finally the crème brûlée. Probably the most disappointing dish we ordered. It took repeated stabs to break the sugar glaze on top. Me and my partner were honestly thinking that they added the cream on top to hide how burnt it was actually. Unfortunately because the glaze was so thick and burnt it made the rest of the cream taste have the burnt flavor. It was sad because my partner was looking forward to this desert. Also took wayyy longer to arrive than our entrées. I will say that the waitress was very helpful and she actually covered the crème Brulé. I didn't even ask she just offered, I think she could tell that we didn't enjoy it and I had nicely told her it wasn't what we were expecting so thank you sincerely. Overall I think this is a perfect spot to maybe try drinks and hang with friends. Food was okay, wouldn't try it again in that regard but overall a decent spot here in El Paso if you're looking for something new. Maybe best to ask what's their best dish to serve. Overall thank you.
