That seemed extremely unsanitary, especially considering receipt paper contains BPA and shouldn't be in direct contact with food. Then at checkout, I mentioned they had run out of pink lemonade and asked if I could just grab a Gatorade instead after already spending $45 on three sandwiches. The cashier looked at the other employee, they stared at each other awkwardly, and one of them said, "I'm not doing it." The other finally rolled her eyes and said, "Just give it to her." The whole experience felt unprofessional and uncomfortable, like customers were inconveniencing the staff just by being there. I tasted all of the dishes we ordered and notably put their green chili burger in the top section of my favorite burgers! The salad with grilled chicken was also very good, and the kids fried fish was tasty as well, expect it's the same fish used for the fish tacos. Basically they use good ingredients, and prepare them thoughtfully. The place was very clean and the person taking our order was helpful answering our questions, other staff was friendly as well. Last time we were here it was in the morning and the big shed at the front was prepping to host a birthday party. Plenty of room, plenty of lawn loungers with games like field connect 4, and lawn Jenga spread out across the grounds The staff are friendly and they are always trying. The kitchen is a scratch kitchen, they have some hit and misses. Nachos were good, burgers were less good. Let's mention the obvious - pickleball. They have four outdoor and five indoor cours. They also have a padel court on the south end of the courts. Very new, no saggy nets. When the sun is on the down side the courts get busy. If you are outdoors you don't have to suffer, there are four cabanas supported by the bar right behind the courts. They are nice, and with the roaming servers it's full service. Game on!

I first tried their beer at the Greek Festival (the Greek brew was so good!) and knew I had to give them another shot. When I finally came in, I was pleasantly surprised. Even with The Shack Wings & Brews across the street, Aurellia stands out because they actually brew their own beers -- and they're fantastic. I don't drink much, but I tried a light one on the manager's recommendation and ended up sharing it with my friend. Smooth, refreshing, and plenty of variety on tap. For food, I went with the Bavarian Forest Burger -- wildberry bacon jam, arugula, Swiss cheese, sautéed mushrooms, beer mustard, all stacked on a toasted potato bun. I wish added hickory bacon and an egg, and loved the options. The burger came out cooked medium (they only do one level of doneness), but it was juicy, flavorful, and held together perfectly with the bun. My friend isn't a fan of pink, so she struggled a bit with her cheeseburger, but honestly, mine was one of the best burgers I've had in El Paso. Filling, rich, and worth every bite.
